I have been treated by Maureen, Dr. Fine, and team for a long time. I feel very cared for from the minute I step into the office. I also like their natural approach to body care as opposed to just treat it with a pharmaceutical. I feel like my care team is very nurturing and supportive.

They are IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of. When I try calling their phone number from Google and their website, the phone rings once then goes to a voicemail for Michelle. Truly abhorrent patient care. Also, I have had three RNs in the past two years because the RNs keep on leaving so there seems to be a low retention rate. To be fair, each RN Ive seen has been fantastic, as have been the people who have done my bloodwork. But the front desk staff are SOOOO consistently rude. I think being unable to get ahold of the office is my final straw. Onwards and upwards!

I had my very first appointment here today with Dr. Fine, and am left feeling uncomfortable, try to explain the experience as it all happened so fast, and now I understand why some people are so turned off by doctors (up until now I have had amazing doctors that bring a personal touch, attempt to know me as a person, explain everything going on, lay out options, try to educate, etc.). Reading through other reviews, I completely agree with the way Dr. Fine exudes stress and an attitude that makes you feel like youre a burden for being there. I already cancelled the follow-up appointment I made, and am so grateful I have options and dont have to go back. Perhaps I am not the right clientele theyre looking for, but I do not recommend anyone go here. I saw Dr. Fine all of maybe 5-10 minutes. There was clearly no communication that I was there seeking a new primary care physician (I also had some elbow pain and figured Id ask about it). As soon as he walked in the room I felt like I was in trouble for some reason. He didnt ask me any questions about myself other than filling out his medical form, never made eye contact, never told me anything about himself, and within that short time frame injected something in my elbow (which I dont really understand why, or what its supposed to do, what its used for, etc.), prescribed me some medication for my sinuses (that also is apparently expensive) which I had no intention of trying to resolve. It was a whirlwind. When I called to cancel I simply said I was uncomfortable, I didnt like it, and dont want to go back. They didnt ask for any details. The receptionist and the nurses were nice.

Though I generally have a good experience w Dr Fine, despite the other reviews....I have to say, I just received a bill for $10.00 (copay) which please keep in mind, all appointments have been virtual, that being said this bill was sent to collections! After my last “appointment” w Dr Fine, he told me he’d have the office call. They never did. At any given time this office could’ve called to get my payment. They did not! Why???? Instead you send me to collections??? Very poor.I may consider changing my eating should I get a call explaining the reason behind their action for a measly $10.00. You do realize that hits peoples credit???

Do yourself a favor and check on the DORA website before seeing your physician, especially here.I have been seeing Andy Fine for years and I really should have stepped up and stood up for myself sooner, that was my mistake. Andy Fine is disrespectful, discriminatory and rude. He is also incapable of fulfilling his job duties correctly. Not only has he been an absolutely miserable doctor to see (treating me horribly, not listening, making mistakes while recording my medical history, refusing to give me a referral to a nutritionist to help me with weight loss) , but he recently gave me a diagnosis over the phone that was completely incorrect and unfounded. I had test results showing his diagnosis was incorrect 6 months ago, and he still gave me misleading information and scared me and my family. I decided to file a complaint with DORA just to find out he had already had many complaints for lots of very big mistakes that could have easily lead to people being seriously hurt. I honestly have no idea why he still has a license. After speaking to the office manager here, he told me he would call me after he spoke to Andy Fine. He never called. If you say you are going to do something for a patient, you should just do it.The only redeeming qualities of this office has been the wonderful people who help at the front desk and Samantha Williams. She has been the only person who has shown the ability to follow through with what she says she will do. She is the only person who has shown kindness and compassion.and lastly, the way that they have chosen to respond to these reviews is really horrible as well. If you are looking through these reviews, you can absolutely get a sense of how this office feels by looking at the way that they have responded to their negative reviews. Rude and so careless that they cant even be bothered to spell out complete words, so unprofessional.Update - Just received a bill for the day that I came in to make sure his misdiagnosis was wrong, which it was. And now I’m being billed for his mistake? That’s cute.

Beware of this practice!!! I hardly ever post bad reviews but I feel I have been more than patient with this facility. I finally reached my wits end with them today! I recently have broken my toe, went to the ER had multiple Xrays done. They confirmed there it was a fractured toe. They advised me to contact my Pcp to do a follow up. I contacted Colorado Primary Health care to schedule an appointment. The pain, swelling and bruising had become progressively worse. You can never get in to meet with Dr Fine because hes never there. They force you to meet with the incompetent Nurse Practitioners. She confirmed I did in fact break my toe and advised me to rotate between over the counter tylenol and ibuprofen. After two days of loading up on both, the pain had then intensified to where it was unbearable. I contacted them a few days later again and asked to prescribe some pain medication to allow to ease the pain a bit. I was transferred to Paul who is the Office Manager, as soon as he answered the phone, he was rude and inconsiderate. He told me that he looked over the Xrays and it wasnt even a fracture. So either he was lying or the Nurse Practitioner in his office and the ER Physician was lying. Either way, he talked to me as if I was some type of junkie who needed her next fix. I have never been prescribed pain medication the whole 3-4 years Ive been with that office! Again, please do yourself the favor by reading the reviews and stay far far away from this so called health care.

Went here three times, unsatisfied each time. I didnt like that I couldnt tell when the appointment was over. The doctor would leave the room without saying anything while scribbling in my chart and a nurse would come in a few minutes later to tell me I could leave. Is goodbye, seeya next time so much trouble? I made it clear money was an issue, but I was still prescribed a $67 name brand medication that is easily substituted for a $5 over the counter option. Finally, I was charged for an appointment I was a no show for when the doctor wasnt even in town. A nurse called to tell me they were rescheduling the day before. This was quickly cleared up once I got the bill, but they would have happily taken that $35 fee if I hadnt been paying attention. Overall, I felt like a paycheck rather than a patient. Would not recommend.I guess the no wait time was a plus, but that could very well be because of issues noted above.

I went to this office about 2 years ago. I saw Dr. Fine for my initial visit and he spent all of 5 minutes with me. He didnt ask any questions about my previous health issues or medical background. He spent no time whatsoever getting to know me even though it was my very first visit and that is often the entire point of initial appointments. I found that I was just another brick in his wall of patients to be processed and passed through as quickly as possible. He was rude and disinterested and brushed me off every time I tried to bring up issues I considered important. I honestly felt l as small and inconsequential as a hovering mosquito, I was a bother to him; the polar opposite of a priority. Money is his motivator... people, his patients, the lifeblood of his practice, are the last thing on his mind.I was later passed along to Philip who was thorough and seemed to care, but the taste in my mouth was already so bad.I didnt want his practice to receive another penny from me. As so many others have said, go somewhere else!!! I am actually shocked his rating is even in the threes... Surely the result of many a fake rating from coerced friends and family members. Notice after all how they make a point to reply to every bad review and confirm that we actually were patients. I see none of this in the super rust rosy 5 star reviews. Katherine Staniforth WAS my first primary care nurse in over 10 years. My experience has been horrible, as has multiple others if you read all the reviews. She basically told me because I’m only 20 years old I’m healthy. She seemed to doubt me and not listen to me and how I feel. I went in because I HAD to. Trust me I would never see a doctor if I didn’t have to. After seeing her she did lab work, which I waited over a week for and probably would have been longer if I didn’t call myself for results. I was told everything was fine. A day later I was in the hospital for 3 days for an infection and had some other problems you probably don’t even want to hear about. I’m not healthy. I knew something was wrong with MY body. I’m soooooo thankful for the staff at St Anthony’s hospital!!! They found what was wrong with me(should have been found in the blood test I paid for the first time) and took great care of me!!! I will be finding a new primary care but this time I’m going to do my research and look at reviews because this place is a JOKE! Michelle at the front desk needs to either take her meds she hasn’t been, or to stop taking so much because there’s seriously something wrong with her!! I was told by Katherine I needed to schedule separate appointments because she could only focus on one thing. So I did, for the same day schedule 2 appointments for different concerns. I got a call the day of the appointments and was told by Michelle she canceled one of them for me like it’s no problem. When I called to see why she told me you can’t have 2 in one day. Why not?!? I’m paying for it!! And she canceled the appointment that was more important for me. This lady ( Michelle ) has been super unwelcoming and weird(only way I can explain it) every time I’ve been in. I feel bad for anyone who still sees this practice for care. Im expecting them to comment back with some BS unprofessional reply like they do to other reviews. Please take care of yourself and DONT let your family or yourself see Colorado Primary Care!!

Dr. Andy Fine and his staff have treated me nothing less than excellent since the day I found them. It is not easy to find a good doctor these days, and I knew that I had found a good doctor when I met Dr. Fine. I have a serious back injury and he was the first person that I saw that said I didnt need surgery that there were ways around it. To me, that was so important because surgery is the last thing on my list. I read some other reviews before writing this one, yes Dr. Fine is quick, but he listens to his patients and he is able to get them taken care of and follow up on them on a regular basis. One of the reasons I keep coming back to Dr. Fine is because him and his staff are very organized. They get you checked in quickly, you are seen quickly, and you are on your way out so you still have your full day ahead of you. I cant count the times I sat in a Dr. office waiting to be seen for HOURS. That will not happen at this office. Dr. Fine is VERY intelligent, he not only has a private practice but he also teaches at the University of Colorado Hospital, he is a role model to many. Each time I am seen I am impressed by how many people he knows that are the best of the best. When I went to get a second opinion about my back injury and I told him who I went to he knew exactly who that was and that speaks loudly to me. He is educated, smart, gives great advice and he listens, you just have to talk to him! He is an amazing Doctor and his staff is as kind as can be. I was in the health care industry myself for over 10 years, I am very picky and I will not tolerate a doctor who is unintelligent and who doest care, you will never find those qualities with Dr. Andy Fine or his office staff! I will recommend him to anyone who asks.

I switched to Colorado primary health a little over a year ago, the doctors office I’ve been using my entire life was difficult to get into and never answered their phones. My experience up until today has been very positive, I actually hadn’t seen Dr. Fine personally until a few months back when I started using Zocdoc to schedule appointments online. The nurse practitioners I have used in the past have been incredibly kind, patient and did there best to make me feel comfortable in uncomfortable situations. Today I went in to get a prescription refilled that I have been on for a month, I have to go in to make sure I’m doing okay still to get them refilled. I had cancelled a physical recently due to having to work unexpectedly, as I am a manager. I had also cancelled another one previously and given my appointment slot to my boyfriend who was very sick and needed to be seen. Dr. Fine saw that I didn’t come to my physical and the appointment took a 180. He got upset, raised his voice and spent the ENTIRE exam lecturing me like I was a toddler. As he quickly and aggressively listened to my lungs and checked my ears he proceeded to tell me that they have people to pay there and threatened that they’re going to start dismissing patients who cancel appointments. I explained to him what happened and he told me that my job was less important than my annual physical. He asked me if I understood that the people who work there have to pay rent and I told him that I am a manager and he said my appointment is a commitment. Honestly, I didn’t know how to react. I’ve never, ever had such an unprofessional experience with a medical professional in my entire life. I’m really disappointed because I thought I had found a good office and was considering just scheduling with the nurses and not with him again but I’m pretty sure he owns the practice and I’m just not okay with coming back after today. I also gave him 2 referrals who have used him. I don’t care if you’re upset that I cancelled a physical because of my job, I come often enough to put plenty of money in your pockets and it does not ever warrant the kind of reaction or treatment I received during my appointment. You are supposed to be a professional that people can trust with their well being, I am a full grown woman, not your 10 year old little girl that needs to be lectured.

I began seeing Dr. Fine because he made a radical difference in my husbands health. Previously I rarely visited my primary care physicians office because for urgent issues I was only able to see a physicians assistant and often was given inadequate medications. At Dr. Fines office, I always see Dr. Fine. I feel like the staff takes a personal interest in my care. Dr. Fine thoroughly explains what is going on with my health, prescribes only those medications that I need, and strongly advocates correct diet and exercise as the best health options for me. I used to take reading material to my appointments. At Dr. Fines office, my appointments happen on time and everyone in the office treats me with respect.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Fine for over 10 years. Ive always found his care to be appropriate, clear and direct. Hell ask simple questions that lead to more in-depth conversations on potential issues. Hes honest about the positives and negatives with any course of action, from prescriptions to referrals to other specialists. He keeps me on-track with regular physical exams, and his office staff is professional and accommodating. There are a number of reasons Ive continued as a patient of Dr. Fine for 10 years, but the most important one is that I trust his judgement and his style of no-nonsense care suits me.

Mixed feelings about this office. I have gotten more answers about what is going on healthwise, but it should not take being pushy to get a call back. It is a pretty common issue to wait over a week for a response, if you get one at all. ADDED for CO Primary Health Cares Response: I have already spoken with Paul a couple of times, but there are huge discrepancies regarding processes in your office. A lot of what is going on is the PA or MA not responding or not reading reports thoroughly. Then when you push for answers because you get a copy of a report that suggested more testing, they say that you need to come in for yet another office visit to address the situation when more tests should have been completed months prior. So, then it is another office copay and more time to come in. I also cant post a response directly to Co Primary Health Cares response below.

I had been going here for over a year, but have reached my end with this place. This is the worst ran physician office Ive ever been to. I simply go to refill prescriptions, yet get treated like a criminal and accused of hoarding my prescriptions every time. I take my medicine as prescribed and yet would consistently be drug tested every appointment. This time, because of traffic I missed my appointment last week. When I explained that I didnt have any of my prescriptions left to take for this week, I was told I could not get mine refilled because they were not in my urine test. How could they be in my urine test if I ran out? I was not offered any explanation of how to remedy the situation, rather Dr. Fine walked out of the room without a word, then later a nurse came to escort me out of the office. I was left in the checkout room not understanding what was going on or what I needed to do in order to refill my prescription.

I and my family have been patients of Dr. Fine since 1992 when we moved from NJ to Colorado. I have found Dr. Fine to be a thorough and caring physician during our 20+ years under his care. His staff is pleasant, considerate and professional. Dr. Fine is a top-notch physician who is very knowledgable of the latest advances in medicine and direct in his messaging (tell you like it is). I highly recommend Dr. Fine and his practice for both individual care, as well as that of your family members.

I needed a new doctor and my wife suggested Dr. Fine (I use the term doctor loosely). I showed up to my appointment early to get the initial paperwork done in a timely manner. I was called back into an examination room and thought I would be through my appointment in a timely manner as well. The medial assistant came in to do the initial assessment and I knew something wasnt right immediately. I am an EMT and have worked both on an ambulance and in an emergency room. To say that the assessment was incomplete is putting in mildly. She took a blood pressure asked what I was there for and that was the extent of it. No history was taken no pulse no O2 saturation levels, she didnt ask if I was taking medications, she didnt even ask my age! I was going to voice my concerns with the Doctor but he never showed up! I sat in the room for an hour, finally got upset and walked out of the office. No one knew I even left. My wife called the office back to talk to them about the situation. They conveyed to my wife that this wasnt the first time patients have been left in examination rooms with no knowledge of the doctor or P.A.s. This man should not have a medical license! When one takes the Hippocratic oath he must put his patients first and this is not the case. Hey Dr. Fine if you hate your job find something else. I urge anyone that is looking for a doctor, DO NOT GO TO DR. Fine! My wife no longer goes to Dr. (should be called Mr.) Fine either. I will also be following up with the Department of Regulatory Agencies to file a complaint. Not to mention the 5 star reviews were all among groups of the same time.

And to your response there was no evidence of high blood pressure! It was completely normal! Check my chart! How would he even know what my needs were when he was with me for 30 seconds! Instead of defending him try to actually be ethical. Clearly youve read the other reviews and the majority of them are bad! People read these reviews and make theyre choice because of them!

Having just completed my latest visit with Dr. Fine and his staff I am compelled to once again complement and express my personal gratitude for the compassionate and professional service I have continually received since becoming his patient in 2003. As I have posted in the past Dr. Fine is an insightful dedicated and caring professional who remains at the forefront of advancing medical treatment while being carefully conservative. He is not a physician that is interested in expediting your treatment to satisfy revenue objectives but rather he takes the time, as does his competent staff, to understand your health care needs and effectively prescribe an appropriate course of treatment action. During the past 11 years I have endured a number of debilitating orthopedic conditions that Dr. Fine has precisely diagnosed and effectively directed and as needed facilitated expedited follow up services that have resulted in substantially improved quality of life. I have every confidence in his clinical skill, his compassionate bedside manner and his personal commitment to continually expanding his understanding of emerging health care treatment options. I have read certain (albeit very few) reviews that leave me wondering whether individual dissatisfaction with his care is predicated on some other personal agenda (i.e., drug seeking behavior) and can only conclude that such opinions are misguided and inaccurate. My confidence in Dr. Fine is such that when my elderly parents relocated to Colorado in 2008 I encouraged them to rely on him to manage their complex and at the time diminishing health care demands. Because of his clinical management my parents are both more active and healthy than they have been in years. Fine. I continue to be very grateful to have Dr. Fine as my primary care physician and wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone seeking competent, compassionate and health care support. Thank you Dr. Fine and staff.

She called me so late everything was booked out till today, and she tells me my appointment is at 2:30. I show up at 2:30 and she proceeds to tell me my appointment is at 3:45 I am visibly upset as I was told a different time by this lady. I tell her Im not going to wait here for an hour. My exact words... Nothing about I want to cancel my app. or that I wasnt coming back... I get back at 3:43 and now Dawn is gone and theres a new lady who now tells me I dont have an appointment anymore and that Dawn just took me off the schedule for no apparent reason other then she doesnt know how to do her job. Thanks to Kevin he agreed to fit me in but now I have to wait because Dawn doesnt know how to do her job.... So Im sitting here in the waiting room an hour+ after my appointment and Im left to wonder how this lady is still employed here if she doesnt know how to do her job....

This is the most ghetto, unprofessional doctors office I have ever been to. Ive tried to give them multiple chances, and they continue to disappoint. If looking for a new doctor, please run far away from here. Do yourself a favor and find a professional practice. This place only cares about making you new appointments only for the sake of charging insurance.I came to this office post op from a surgery. I was seen by a nurse practitioner because Dr. Fine was unavailable. She prescribed me Lidocaine patches, which was rejected by insurance. I called Adam at Colorado Primary Health Care to get to the bottom of it. He said he would and would call me back. 3 days pass and I hear nothing. I call him back and leave him a message. 2 days pass and he never calls me back. I call him a 3rd time, and he apologized and said he would figure it out and call me back. Yet again, 3 days pass and nothing. In the meantime, I developed a respiratory issue that Dr. Fine said was very concerning and sent me to X-ray. Dr. Fine made it sound extremely worrisome. The X-ray clinic said someone would call me within a day or two to discuss the results. No one called. I called Paul, the office manager, to discuss not only the missing follow up from Adam, but also the fact no one is following up with me regarding my worrisome x-ray. Paul never once apologized or offered empathy, he only defended his office and said my x-ray is fine. (how can you defend not returning a patients calls for 2 weeks??) Paul confirmed I had a follow up appointment with another NP named Phillip the next day about my respiratory issue, and we could talk then. The next day (1 hour before my appointment mind you!!), Adam left me a message that I couldnt be seen because Jen the nurse practitioner that was going to see me, had to leave. I called and spoke to Paul again, to question what Jen had to do with this. Paul said he never mentioned Phillip the day before, and he cant control when people leave the office. So here I am, with NO information regarding my prescription, NO information regarding my x-ray, NO follow up regarding my respiratory issue, and NO apology. This Drs office is a joke. I am a Colorado native and used to have the best doctor on the planet before he passed away (RIP Dr. Atkinson). Please stay away from Dr. Fines office. The whole practice is run like the Keystone Cops without anyone knowing whats going on. Its the most ghetto physicians office Ive ever seen. They need to fire the entire staff and start over. My best advice.

Andy Fine has been my primary care physician for 15 years. Over that period and with diminishing hair, he has been candid and helped me stay on top of the ailments that afflict us all as we fight creeping middle age.In addition to his passion for practicing medicine he stays plugged into the public policy debate we continue to have as a nation about healthcare. Since overall health consists of more than physical health, and even though I go to see him about my physical health I have found our interactions about the whole person health and other related topics to be very helpful.

This doctor is an either love him or hate him doctor. Mainly because if you are there for a pity party you really arent going to get the chance to vent. But that is not what he or the staff are there for. They dont waste your time and you dont waste theirs. I feel they are so busy because of that.I unfortunately am sick really often and going to doctors all the time is like a full time job! But its nice going to Dr. Fines office because I know I will NOT be waiting for ages to see him. They moved recently which is a lot better. However, it still can get kind of congested. Just try to remember that Dr. Fine is just one person and his staff try to help him as much as possible and you will have your turn as soon as possible.I have severe Rheumatoid arthritis and was in a horrible state when I first went to see him. I am now on a REALLY good medication regimen. Dr. Fine gives medicine when he feels it is important. When it comes to heavy pain pills he doesnt just give them out freely. And for good reason too! Pain pills can be extremely hard on your body, un-necessary, and addicting. Yes they are a quick fix but trust me he works really well with other doctors to figure out how to actually get you to feeling better in a healthy way.

Don’t even attempt to become a new patient at this office. The staff is completely incompetent. I made an appointment with the receptionist for 3/14 at 3:30. I asked who I’d be seeing and was given the name Phillips. Received two confirmation texts the appointment and arrived at 3:27 for the appointment. However, once I arrived I quickly realized their website (nor google) did not have a suite number and dialed the office to get this information, while simultaneously reviewing the directory to find Dr. Philips. There was no such listing and no answer on the phone so I proceeded to visit each floor trying to find the office. Eventually arriving on the 5th floor I found the office and entered at 3:43, while the phone still ringing. I intentionally left it on so the front desk could understand my attempts to reach someone and the misinformation they provided had me arrive late. There was no apology or compassion for this being my first experience with the office. While checking in they could not find my appointment, then said I was actually with someone named Carly, not Philips (Philip was actually the FIRST name of the initial doctor they had reserved my appointment with). Moments later, a second front office employee tells me I have to reschedule. At this point it’s 3:55, I explain due to poor communication and misinformation by their team that some responsibility, if not the majority, falls on their team. I ask to speak to the office manager who is “out until Monday”. Then encourage them to talk to the doctors on staff and explain how they have handled this situation and as a new patient they see me today or I’d rather not proceed. They come back offering me a ten min appointment with a third doctor. I decided this place isn’t for me and DO NOT recommend. What a hot mess! I would NOT trust my healthcare with this office.

I was a patient here for a very brief time when they were in the small office several years ago. I mostly dealt with one PA named Rick (I think was his name) and it was the worst experience of my life. I first accepted it because I was a Medicaid patient and no one else was accepting Medicaid at the time. And I was so overly misdiagnosed that Rick was moving in the direction of radiating my thyroid because he diagnosed me with Hyperthyroidism. When I got the scan to confirm this diagnosis, the tech at the hospital told me that I did not have hyperthyroidism that I had hypothyroidism. When the information was returned to Rick, he threw me on some levothyroxine and pretty much pushed me out the door. The other thing that happened (at the time I wasnt educated in the workings of the medical field) was a very inappropriate situation happened with this PA. I was given his personal phone number to get a hold of him whenever I needed him. The text messages that he would sent checking up on me seemed okay at the time (I was not handling this situation has intelligently as I should have) soon started getting into talking about personal issues over text message. I fully recognize now how inappropriate it was for that to have happened.Theres some other things that happened but I wont get into them because of how long ago they were. Im so thoroughly shocked to see in these reviews that not much has changed at this practice.I think the thing Im the most shocked about is some of the responses by the owner. The arrogance and impolite answers Ive seen are truly appalling. Being a student getting into the medical field, there are so many red flags that Ive seen just from the response posts. This practice needs to be shut down. Period. Its clearly shown how unprofessional and unethical this practice really is.
