I have been going to Dr. Shaar for over 9 years now. The first time I called her, I was 6 months pregnant with my first son and I could barely get out of bed because my back hurt so bad. I had never seen a chiropractor before and I was scared. She called me back after I left her a message and she sensed the fear in my voice. She was so reassuring and gentle. She fixed me right up, and well, the rest is history. Shes so validating, so in tune with my body and every adjustment is done with love! Its almost like a mini therapy session when I see her because she knows me so well. She has seen me through 2 pregnancies, and the death of my mom. She has also worked on both my young boys and my husband. She is definitely my forever-chiropractor and Im so thankful for Dr. Shaar!

I have been going to Dr. Shaar for over 5 years. Her passion and knowledge for what she does and those she helps is above and beyond. She truly cares for the individual. I leave each session feeling better and healthier. The other day I emailed with some questions and Dr. Shaar took the time to call me and discuss my concerns about my health, even recommending I see some other health practitioners regarding my issue versus coming in and seeing her. As I said before, she has the health of the person at the heart of her practice.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Shaars for about 15 years. I travel a lot and Ive seen other chiropractors - Dr. Shaar is, hands down, the best! Im now married with two kids and we all see Dr. Shaar - she is great with infant and child adjustments as well! Her education and passion in her work shows. In her adjustments she focuses on the whole body and what is causing the problem vs. just treating the pain or problem areas. This creates a whole body balance you can build from and become stronger. The office of Unity Chiropractic has an amazing feel and is warm and welcoming! She also offers Massage and ARP wave therapy, both of which were a huge benefit to my treatments. If youre looking for great care without jumping through hoops of finding the right chiropractor; I highly recommend Dr. Shaar and refer to her often!

Find out what she will charge your insurance before you ever make an appointment! When I let her office charge my insurance for me, they charged over $500 for ONE visit! No xrays, nothing but a quick consult and adjustment that took no more than 30 minutes. I was in tears because she used up my yearly allowance for chiropractic in 1.5 visits and then sent me a bill saying I owed her over $500! When I realized how much she had charged my insurance and started asking for details of the charges, she sent me a letter releasing me from my debt to her and referring me to another chiropractor. My other review with all this info has mysteriously disappeared from here, but I will continue to tell everyone...BEWARE!!!
