I loved my hair! However, the overall experience was horrible. Very unprofessional. I was treated like a child even though I am a college graduate. There was absolutely no chair etiquette. I sat in silence for almost three hours until the owner was around then I was finally asked what my name was.

Im new to the area and was concerned about finding a place to have my hair cut. I have short curly thick hair not easy to deal with. Im ecstatic with the cut and color Dawn did and will most definitely be back. The location is very convenient and very comfortable and down to earth inside. Dawn and her staff made me feel totally at home. They are following all CDC and state protocols...I watched them clean the stations between customers. And there was plenty of room for social distancing. Definitely recommend and Dawn, the owner, definitely knows how to handle short hair.

DPZ is the best salon I have been to, the staff is always friendly and professional. Rebekah always cuts my hair exactly how I want--she is so talented! She is the only person I want to do my hair for forever. Great service & highly recommend.

I used to go to Dawn and Debbie back when I was in college. I havent seen them in over 30 years. I sat in Debbies chair and we just picked right up! She listened to my requests with my hair and styled it beautifully. Im so glad to have reconnected and to get the professional attention my hair needs! Kayla Genovese is the best hair stylist I have eve r been to. Her attention to detail and her dedication to perfection is beyond any expectation I could have imagined. She is the only person that I will allow to do my hair. I trust to her to do whatever she wants with my hair because her craft is unmatched. No matter who I see at DPZ North, my hair always looks amazing. Today, Debbie transformed my hair from a light brown to a nice deep red to prepare for fall! The best part is how safe and prepared they are with the COVID regulations. Of course they have to take your temp but they’re wiping everything down and it’s so clean, I have no concerns. I cannot think of a single bad thing to say about this place! If you’re on the fence, I highly suggest you book an appointment now! I’ll never go another salon again and I’ve gone through several.

Dpz is a very professional hair salon!!!!! Very clean and up to date. On time for the appointment’s. Staff very friendly especially!!!!! Debbie is not only friendly but very on point with clientele. We have been traveling for 3 months and I was in need of a cut. I was a walk in and greeted as though I have been a long term customer. Within a few moments, Debbie had me sitting in her chair taking the time to understand how my hair was cut. She did a wonderful job! I know I will go back to Debbie next time Im in the area. Atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxing.

Omg..Debbie Maestro Barrigas is amazing. I sooo needed a great curly cut and color. it ha been 9 months since my last professional hair appointment. Th transfor was incredible. She brought me back to my natural dark brown. She used a few different browns so it has depth and not mousy. I absolutely love how it came out..highly recommend Debbie Maestro..awesome personality to go with her amazing talent!! And no worries about the virus! Clean distancing, masks..all around a perfect experience!!!

Ive been going to DPZ North for about 2 years, and Missy is wonderful! My hair was in bad shape when I first started going there, and now its strong and healthy! All the girls at the salon are great! I have been getting my hair done by Brenna for over 12 years now. She is an incredibly talented artist! I am very particular about who I go to for a fresh color/cut. There have been a few times that I was in a rush for an appointment and Brenna was unavailable, but in every instance that this has happened, I still left the salon pleased with how my hair turned out. I trust many of the DPZ artists to achieve the hair that I want, whether its a retouch or fresh color. I highly recommend DPZ North to anyone--especially those who are looking to try a fantasy color (pink/purple/blue/etc) for the first time. My hair has been pink for about a year now and I love it! Some of the artists Ive seen: Missy, Dani, Kayla, and Steff.

Fantastic hair salon. I love all the employees... everyone is skilled, helpful and friendly. I have used Dani as my stylist since moving to the area, she is wonderful for both cuts and color. They also run a 25 dollar blow out special many week days. Missy is awesome for blow outs!

Ive been a customer at DPZ for 14 years and have always walked away with a gorgeous haircut and color. Dawn is an excellent colorist and my hair always looks great. I highly recommend DPZ.

DPZ in Litchfield is fantastic. The staff is friendly, pleasant, and skilled. The atmosphere is welcoming and nicely decorated. Missy’s haircuts and highlights are excellent every time. I will go in for a blow dry for special occasions and it lasts for several days. I referred a friend to Missy and she was pleased, as well.Very accommodating salon, updated atmosphere, kind professional staff. 5 stars!

I was happy to have found DPZ North Salon in Litchfield. Dawn is great. She always makes sure that any questions or concerns that I have about my hair are addressed. I am also impressed by the ongoing training she arranges for staff at both her locations - DPZ North and DPZ West in Danbury. I am happy with her services.

I went to Debbie a few weeks ago in hope of receiving a beachy wave perm. She was honest with me and said they did not have rods big enough to achieve that look. Instead of just turning me away, she purchased bigger rods and researched exactly how she could make my vision come to life. On the day of my appointment, the whole staff was friendly and welcoming. The service was phenomenal and I got the beachy wave perm that I wanted! I loved my experience and my results and highly recommend this salon!

Been going to Dawns Pizzaz since high school...20 plus years. Didnt realize DPZ North was Dawns until about 3 years ago. Just wish I knew sooner. I have been in the area over 10 years and never made the connection. Great staff. Always leave there with the best do!

I have used DPZ exclusively since my wife and I moved to Litchfield in 2013. We are both very happy with the service. All of Dawns staff are wonderful and attentive. We would highly recommend them and do!
