I have used The Good Guys for two projects, a small bathroom remodel & installing new kitchen cabinets. In both instances, they did a fantastic & professional job. Both times they sent Jamie to do the work, who was great about asking questions, communicating what he was doing, and explaining various options along with his recommendation.In both instances, the time it took came in under the estimated time, which was nice as it helped save a little money.

Contacted Good Guys to touch up paint in our condo and am happy with the result! Fast turnaround time, good pricing, and great communication. Chris and Jamie were both professional and friendly, and went above and beyond to make our place look great. Ill be using Good Guys again in the future!

We’ve hired Good Guys Handyman for multiple jobs we’ve been tackling after moving into our house. Ty put an electrical outlet in our master walk-in closet, secured an electrical outlet in our kitchen island, and swapped out a bunch of bathroom vanity fixtures. He also installed GFI outlets in our garage and moved the location of our dining chandelier electrical box and installed the chandelier (pictured). Jamie has done dry wall repair for us, changed the swing on our master bedroom door, and installed a door in the trellising under our deck so we could have under deck access, among other things. Chris repainted our kitchen island (pictured). We have been incredibly happy with everything they’ve done for us, which is why we keep coming back to them time and again. They are kind, personable, and great to work with. I’ve always felt like they’ve had ample expertise for the jobs they’ve done for us. We recommend them wholeheartedly!

We replaced the floors in our condo which left an ugly gap between the new floors and the baseboards/door frames. We also had to get it back up for sale as soon as humanly possible. I called around to about 8 carpenters that all scoffed at such a small and odd job. I finally found The Good Guys and my luck totally turned around! Chris was able to come out for a quote the next day and Jamie completed the carpentry work and painting right in time for us to get listed again. I cannot thank them enough! Chris and Jamie are so nice and wonderful to work with. Ill be referring all my Chicago-area friends to them from now on!

Great service that was easy to use. We had 2 handymen come and assemble our kids swing set. They did an awesome job, paid attention to detail and walked us through the bumps they encountered. Super personable, kind and professional. Great work. Easy booking.

I needed a faucet replaced in my kitchen. Chris answered my initial call quickly and communicated everything I needed to know. I got the quote quickly after and was able to schedule something the same day.He was in communication the day of the installation and picked up a faucet for installation without the need for me to do anything.The installation was quick and efficient. Im 100% satisfied with the service and will use definitely use Chris again for my next job.

Needed a vintage door installed with barn door hardware to cover my stacking washer/dryer. Chris got back to quickly to discuss the project and estimate a quote. Got me on their schedule right way.Jamie did the install. He addressed any issues, went to the store to pick up items my project needed, explained the process along the way, and delivered a well done product at the end.I am looking forward to using them for future projects in my unit and around the condo building.

I highly recommend!! I contacted Chris and he was super quick to responding with the earliest availability and quote. Jaime came out the very next day...on time and completed the job. He put up my wallpaper, heavy marble shelving, picture frames, and a curtain rod. He was professional, quick, and very informative.

Chris did a great job fixing things around our condo that needed to be fixed before we sold it. He was very knowledgable and honest with the work that he was doing. Transparency is big with me and he kept me up to speed with everything he was doing.
