A delightful little place that has been established for over 20 years. Surprisingly open on Mondays and a bunch of wonderful people to interact with. They know what they are doing. Best long lasting dye and cut I have ever had.

After a few failed attempts to be heard by my stylist I had stopped going altogether. I was cutting my own hair and using a box color. I have a vacation planned to Cancun and for once I didn’t want to do it myself. I called and said I needed a cut and color and please could I have someone with some experience. She was so nice to me and nonjudgmental. She listened, and then gave me an appointment with Emily.The location on Van Dorn is an adorable little house remodeled into a modern salon and I felt welcomed the minute I walked in. Emily was the next one to listen. She put me at ease in minutes. She repeated back to me what I said and then explained what she would like to do. You can tell she is comfortable and knowledgeable in her position. The atmosphere is light and conversation was easy while still professional. I loved hearing of their plans to go to Las Vegas to an International Hair Show. Another reason I felt good about being there. Emily was excited to learn new styles and techniques.She did a wonderful job on my hair and I’m so happy. My next appointment is already made.

I always enjoy my trips to Salon Deja Vu. I like the reminders on my phone--keeps me on track. Linda always cuts my hair so well. It lays well, and is very manageable. I dont think I have ever been kept waiting, and I am in and out quickly. The atmosphere is relaxing, which makes my appointments a real pleasure. Keep up the good work!!

Great staff and service. Ive been trying desperately to find a good salon ever since I moved too far from Fairbury to go to the stylist I had that. If youre looking for a place that does more modern and trendier haircuts and this place is fantastic. Ask for Emily by name, she will take care of whatever your hair-needs are.

Friendly staff and accommodating with scheduling. They do walk ins if not busy. Two locations is nice. Not giving full marks because my last visit with a new stylist resulted in my hair color being too dark and no effort in wanting to work with me to fix it.

The girls at Salon Deja Vu are always friendly and very talented at their craft. I can either show them a picture or just tell them what I want and they always aim to please. If I have questions, they are very helpful and offer great tips. I never go anywhere else!Michelle

I moved to Lincoln 9 years ago and I had my first hair appointment with Shannon. I havent cheated on her yet! In fact both of my daughters love to go there too. Love the salon and all of the employees. It has such a great atmosphere (both locations). I would HIGHLY recommend Salon Deja Vu.

This salon is the best! I have been a loyal customer since the day it opened and have referred all of my friends and family. I always get compliments on my hair! The stylists are professional, fun, highly trained, and just plain fantastic!

I went in after waiting 2 months for a root color touch. Upon arrival the young gal with orange hair (the same one that did my color last year) stated she doesn’t feel confirmable doing my hair without a trim. For religious purposes I didn’t want my hair to be cut. When I stated “no thanks I’ll just get the roots) she stated that she doesn’t feel confirmable doing my hair. When I asked her that she did that same EXACT hair last year she stated that over the years she discovered herself and no longer feels confirmable doing my hair. She could have just refused scheduling me and not have me drive an hr to the salon and wait 2 months for the appointment. I’m unsure what it is whether it’s racism or otherwise however I’m seeking legal advice on that matter because I left feeling discriminated against in every way.

BEST place in Lincoln, NE to get your hair done. I have been a client for over 10 years. I get compliments all the time on how nice my hair looks. Highly recommended!

Went in on my birthday and the lady that checked me in did not even let me know that I wasnt even on the schedule (which I called a week before and booked the appointment with Misty). I sat there for an hour and a half before anybody else even acknowledged that I was even there! Finally when acknowledged by another stylist, Sam, I was informed that she did not even see me on the schedule (ok why didnt the first girl inform me of this? Why have me just sit there?)! I did end up getting a free haircut but my hair was butchered! My hair was not even, the right side looked like a different cut than my left side, and the back of my hair was a complete mess! With how short my hair was there was no fixing it without it turning into a mans cut! Ive tried this place several times thinking maybe I just had a bad experience, but honestly its like if youre not a regular or they dont know you they dont give a flying f about you. Im done and this place will never get my business again. Lesson learned and all chances of redemption gone!

Got a haircut and the lady was nice but she butchered my hair. One side wasnt blended good at all and the other side was way higher than the one side which wasnt even blended at all and was butchered. It was one of the worst haircuts Ive ever gotten. If I want a crappy haircut Ill go to cost cutters. You shouldnt be working in a salon cutting mens hair if you cant perform a simple basic mens haircut.
