My family and I love therapy pool! My younger kids hang out in the shallow end with my wife while my oldest son and I go to the deep end. I also like using the diving board, swim lanes, and hot tub. I especially like spending 5mins in hot tub then swimming a couple laps back and fourth 3 to 5 times. The YMCA crew is very helpful and polite. Great job YMCA Lima, Oh branch.

Once the steam room and sauna are open again, itll be back to 5 stars

Ive been using the YMCA of Lima since Dec 20 of last year. I had an issue with the fridge at the front desk not being stocked. I wrote a suggestion and I spoke with the fitness director or manager who is in charge of that. He explained how the stock gets depleted and told me he would recommend a change. It wasnt long after that it was not only stocked more frequently but with even more products to choose from. The Locker rooms are always clean and urinals smell clean. Thats a big plus over other gyms. Josh at the front desk and all the staff is always smiling and cheerful no matter what time of day when I enter the facility. One particular lady in security is such a sweet lady to me when I see her. Very professional and friendly and helpful when needed. Ive lost 35 pounds since December and I have 40 more to go, November is the finish line. Thank you Lima YMCA for your professionalism!

Some of the staff at the front were awful enough for me to cancel my membership. They are the first people that you have to deal with so you would think they would work on being nicer but they don’t. There was one younger lady specifically who was the most rude person I have ever met working in a service position. The facility is great, but be prepared to be judged and to have to deal with people who are not helpful at all.

I use to be a regular at this Y.M.C.A in Lima, OH but I no longer go here due to Alicia Bell. I was minding my own business working out and Alicia approached me in a unprofessional manner asking me Whats your first and last name? She was judging me for what I was wearing. I was wearing a crop top and leggings to the gym and she told me to leave the gym. I would highly recommend going to a different gym unless you want to be interrogated at the gym for no reason.

Good place for travelers to take a shower i go here often its a good place the guys are way quicker than the ladys but its not like its a terrible wait i would reccomend this place to anyone

Very good and helpful staff and volunteers. It has temperature controlled year round. Their indoor tracks with Gym facility is very good and helpful in maintaining good health.

I came in and I was working out with a friend. After a while without warning the security gard looked at us, shut off the lights and says loudly get out of the room now or I am calling the cops. And that was the only warning we had from him. My friend and I are only 14 and 15 so the security guard raising his voice at us wasnt a good first impression at the ymca. The staff at planet fitness were much nicer and more supportive of their customers and wouldnt treat anybody like that. It is a shame that they would hire a guy like that I would not recommend going to the ymca at all.

Worst Staff Ive EVER seen. A Couple of months ago I asked to put my account on hold because the pool was going to be painted and unusable for a month. I spoke to a young man at the desk who claimed to fill out a form to make this happen effective Aug 14th - Sept 14th.My next bill happens and I was charged the full rate. At the time i let it slide thinking maybe I was being charged the previous month and should see the $10 hold charge for the dates in question on the next bill. However, the next bill occurs and still full rate.So, I call in again and speak with a young lady who says she will bring this up with her manager and give me a call back. She takes down my name and number and assures me once again that she will call back that day and leave a message if unable to reach me. Still waiting on that call.Almost a week later I call back again and speak with Ron who transfers me to his boss who is supposedly available only to get her voicemail. I leave a detailed message explaining what has happened and ask her to call me back to discuss a refund of the most recent charge and to cancel my membership based on my experience with the staff. I then speak to Ron at the desk again and am given assurance that she always calls back and i dont have to worry about her reaching back out to me. Still waiting on that return call.Around 3-4 days later I call in again, Ron answers again, and i ask him who i can speak to in management who is actually available right now. He transfers me to the CEO who doesnt answer his phone and I leave yet another message.I have now cancelled my card to prevent the YMCA from charging me any additional fees and filed a complaint with the BBB. This company (branch) should NOT associate themselves with anything Christian as they have the absolute WORST treatment of their members I have ever seen. Its one thing to drop the ball on an issue or a form but at some point you need to take ownership of a mistake.Literally the worst company I have ever had to deal with and sadly here i sit... Issue unresolved.

Nice clean safe no jundgement atmosphere, you deserve more than 5 stars have been with the this y for 11 years and like the young aldut pricing. Love the programs, the free Zumba, the variety offered (pool,gym, track, workout room) and the friendly atmospher, I had a great oppurinty to put in lots of vounlnteer hours and will continue with the y for years to come!
