Dr. Bill is an awesome family doc! He takes his time with patients and genuinely cares. Very thorough and helpful!

Terrible customer service! Receptionist is rude. Office staff does not follow through with calling in prescriptions. Referral for dietician but was never called! I asked to speak with my CNP haven’t been able to do so. Asked to make an appt to talk to my CNP but they insist on blood work to do that! Michelle is awesome other staff is lacking! Will never return to this office because patients are not a priority!

His staff is rude and incompetent. Not only did this doctor give me prescriptions that interacted with each other and made me very sick, his staff was rude on the phone. I will never return to this office. I don’t think they like sick patients. They prefer healthy ones so they don’t have to actually work.

Dr. Leahy and his staff are absolutely amazing. Ive never been more pleased with a doctors office! They are great people! I was referred by a friend because my family doctor of 20 years was too busy and considered me a new patient. I looked up the reviews online and decided to call (Dont let the negative reviews impact your decision). They had me come in to fill out paperwork and made the time to see me ..The moment i arrived the ladies at the front counter were exceptional nice and understanding! This will be my primary care doctor! Id recommend them to anyone!

Dr Leahy & his staff have always been caring & attentive, even when I feel like Im there non-stop (with 4 kids, sometimes we are in ALOT). Hes been our primary care provider for @10 years now - maybe longer? He does have students in office, so talking to the nurse, then student, then him can become time consuming. However. THEY NEED TO LEARN! All of the students have been wonderful & our kids always give them something new to think about lol. Michelle & jackie are both wonderful, youre in very capable hands with them.My only complaint is that the office is very rarely running on time. So, if your appointment is at 2, expect to wait until 245 to be called back. Its not every visit, but definitely 80% or more of the time. With young kids, and schedules to keep, it has us considering other offices. I really dont want to start over somewhere else, tho. He really has been an a awesome doc for our family!

Staff, in particular Joni, is incredibly rude! Will be finding another medical provider immediately. In addition to consistently putting you on hold and finding ways to pass the buck, they misdiagnosed my husband and told him he was fine. Oh, except for that 85% BLOCKAGE OF THE LAD!! Fortunately it was found by another doctor before he dropped dead.

Dr. Leahy is nice, but busy. Hes good to his patients and his employees. I prefer making appointment with his nurse practitioner though because she is such a sweet and cheerful person.

Dr. Leahy and his staff are absolutely amazing. I had to get their phone number off of google and saw a negative review. I cant let that stand on its own. In a time where doctors spend little time with their patients, Dr. Leahy takes his time to discuss your care with you. I recommend him to everyone who is looking for a good doctor in Lima.

I cant say I hated my experiences in going to Leahy Family Care, however I am incredibly displeased. Dr. Leahy himself is alright at best. I personally didnt feel like he was listening to me when I visited his office. His treatment play was okay; it wasnt anything astounding and didnt help me very much.However, due to the carelessness of his office staff, I was never even given the opportunity to voice my opinions at a follow up appointment. My most recent appointment was set for a day when Leahy was out of the office, and as I was told by the woman I spoke with on the phone, the office is technically closed! Every time I call in, I am put on hold. The medical assistants, if they are even certified, have no concept of phone-triage. On top of this, at my last visit I was told that Id be called as soon as possible to schedule a time at a practice I was being referred to for an issue that is critical to my health. I was never called. I was also never called for any kind of reminder about my visit.I personally will not be returning to this practice and will be advising any local friends and family to look elsewhere for their healthcare. This kind of unreliability shouldnt go unchecked.

My wife and I both use Dr. Leahy and have been totally satisfied with the care and treatment. Only complaint is he has many med interns at the office. They take your vitals and ask questions, then the nurse does the same thing, not a huge issue, just time consuming and redundant.

The doctor is good, but the staff is terrible and lazy. The receptionist didnt do her job and didnt even say sorry. how rude she was... it was like a nightmare. I am very disappointed and dont want to go there anymore.

Leahy is a decent doctor but his staff sucks, mainly a lady named Joney. She is very rude. I called one day about getting a allergy medicine refilled. One that I had all ready been on and the lady I spoke to at the time said she would call it in to the pharmacy. Went to the pharmacy the next day and it wasnt there. Called again and spoke to Joney. She said she would get it called in tomorrow. There was only 15 minutes left before closing but cmon. Then I started venting about a separate issue cause at this point Im pretty angry. I seen Leahy a month and a half before that about some chest pain I was having. They did a ekg and everything was good but he ordered a stress test and said I would hear from his staff as soon as insurance was approved. I vented to her politely about my displeasure with this issue and she had the nerve to say to me you shouldnt have waited so long to call us. I replied so your imcompetance leads to you insulting me. I said the irony here is at a all time high. I will be at their door tomorrow at 8 when they open and speaking to her supervisor and probably will switch doctors because of all this.

The waiting room time for scheduled appointments is atrocious. Once tests results are in, the response time is appalling. After two weeks of waiting, I was told its up to you what to do next - without being offered any options. Pretty sure thats why I went to the doctor in the first place.... Save yourself the frustration and avoid this practice.
