I have been a patient at Fishbaugh Family Eye Care since 2016. The staff is always helpful and professional, but yesterday I had an experience with optician Bethany that nearly brought me to tears of gratitude. I have a very high and fussy prescription. Glasses are (very!) expensive. She worked tirelessly to get me the best price possible and I am extremely grateful for both her kindness and her expertise. Thank you Bethany. You’re a star! If you need eye care in Lima or St. Henry two big 👍👍!

Ive been to 3 other places in the last several years and they could not get my glasses correct. Fishbaugh got them right the first time and the fit is so comfortable. Thank you so much for a great experience

I would recommend Fishbaugh Family Eye Care to all my family and friends. The personal is very friendly and knowledgeable, not to mention Dr. Fishbaugh himself. Not only is he good optometrist, he is a good person. He truly cares about your vision and wants to help keep it clear for as long as possible. He is straight to the point and sugar coats nothing. I have always received great service from this business, but this past time stands out. I called on a Tuesday to order new contacts and expected to wait at least a week to receive them. I was pleasantly surprised to get a call on Friday to let me know they were already in! The employees are friendly and great to work with.

Dr knows what hes doing, very quick & offer alot of helpful insight! Got me in very quickly & let me take as much time as I wanted picking out glasses!

Great experience and service overall. I got in and out in a timely manner. I did not feel rushed and felt as though time was taken to help me understand options and terminology. Everyone was friendly and willing to help. I felt like they thought about me when making decisions not only directed towards my health but financially as well. Very knowledgeable and is definitely my eye care center.

It is a center that cares for all ages. The staff and doctors are caring and efficient. I very much appreciate their policy to make appointment reminders using email and texts. It makes my busy life much easier to manage!

They performed exams that are not covered by eye insurance. They did not tell me those exams will not be covered and I ended up paying over $500 out of my pocket.They also pressured me hard to buy contacts/glasses from their shop and if you dont you get dirty look. Rx on my eye was wrong so things were still fuzzy and they called me I have a special need and the assistant giggled listening to that doctors commentMy previous doctor from another state gave me a clear Rx and she did NOT call me I am retarded

I went to them back in Sept. 2018 ,in Dec they send me a bill stating that I owe more money. then in March I receive another bill for a additional $99.00 . Stating my insurance did not pay it. I i realize when dealing with insurance company can be difficult. -but really give me a break are you trying to tell me that your accounting dept. will let a bill lay for 7 month un-collected. To throw salt in the wound they have the gall to tell me in Dec they are working to get this paid a balance of $65.00-then charge me a finance fee why they are working with ins. to get it paid . I would never go to this place again. It is strictly double talk . Unfortunately Google will not allow you to give neg. stars

Doctor explained results of tests very well. Staff is very friendly. Large selection of frames. Would recommend Fishbaugh Family Eye care.

Love it here and they are all great with kids! Its never a hassle to get my girls to go to their eye appointment... Definitely recommend for families with small children

This place is unprofessional... The staff embarrassed me in front of everyone ... I have never been treated like this the whole 17 years Ive been going there...they set you up for failure...they want to automatically set up an appointment for a year later then when you miss the appointment you have to pay.. then when you try to pick up your glasses you cant get them until you pay its B.S... I would advise everyone to find a new eye doctor

Dr. Andrea Dietz is the best doctor hands down! She’s so polite and she listens and addresses any problems or concerns. The office is clean and staff is always friendly whenever I have my appointments. I’ll be a patient here for a long time!

First time I went was fine. This last time was not so much. Took way too long, for nothing more than an eye exam. Staff is very friendly though. Nice, clean building as well.

I enjoy going to my eye appointments at Fishbaugh family eye Care. Everyone is always so nice and very informative.

I myself had a very unpleasant experience. It seems they are behind in some technological areas for vision care. I also was looking for a pair of glasses to pick and I like anyone else am taking my time because these are going to be on my face the majority of the day. I think maybe 5 minutes went by and there was a lady that came up to me rushing me to pick a pair. She was even telling me what ones to pick. It was also on a Friday, so I can tell they just wanted to leave and could careless about their patients. To top it off I called in to make sure my glasses were shipped there and the receptionist said “yes” so I went there to pick them up and they somehow say they are not in yet. Wasted about an 1hr drive to to get told that they were not in yet when I was told they were!!! Terrible place.

Fishbaugh has always been very kind and helpful. Getting an appointment is easy and rarely is their a long wait!

When I called to schedule my appointment I specifically asked if I could get my contact prescription written. I was told yes. Greeted with a pushy doctor and then told that its $75 to get a trial pair of contacts and go through fittings then pay for my box of contacts. When I asked for my prescription they refuse to give it to me without paying them $75

My experience at fishbaugh family eye care was horrendous. After waiting over an hour after my appointment time I asked staff how much longer it would be and was told at least another hour because another doctor was taking the others exam room (eye rolls). Apparently its still HS here. I left and will not be returning.

They however temporarily dont accept Medicaid patients . However they did not notify their patients of this change so now established Medicaid patients have to go to their other office . I find this a little unprofessional due to not making your patients aware.
