I work in the medical field so I know the vital importance of finding a compassionate and caring doctor that takes their time to listen to your every needs. He is incredibly efficient and his bedside manner is nothing short of perfection! I would give him a 10-star if I could! If you are in search of an impeccable and intelligent doctor then Dr. Frantz Is your guy! Highly, highly, highly recommend!

Ive been a patient of Dr. Frantz for 6 years and he is hands down the BEST physician I have ever had. Im 57 years old, so Ive had my fair share of PCPs over the years and across different moves/cities.The switch over to Emory was not seamless. What change over ever is? I never placed any blame on the doctors for the administrative hiccups. I typically reach out directly through the patient portal and am always amazed at how quickly Dr. Frantz replies. Often before 6 am and never brushed aside for the nurse to handle. Does this man ever sleep?? When were face to face, I feel safe, unrushed, and genuinely heard (so rare w/other doctors). Over the years whenever Ive voice disagreement with a recommendation (e.g., vaccines or prescriptions), Ive never once felt bullied or belittled. The rest of the family feels the same. My daughter drives 1+ hours from Athens and always comments how sincere and engaged he is when they meet. This is huge. Shes one tough cookie to win over! My husband, a true doctor a phob no longer grumbles when I let him know Ive scheduled his annual physical . Priceless. Dr. Frantz is truly the best of the best.

Dr. Frantz is great - if you can actually get in to see him. Twice Ive tried to make sick appointments, but was routed through a central office and told I would get a call back for an appointment. I never got the calls. This time I ended up getting an appointment at the Kroger Little Clinic, diagnosed with the flu & got medication in an hour. If I had waited on Emory at Mountain Park, I would have suffered much longer, since they still havent called two days later.

I have been trying for almost a month to get a prescription refilled. I started earlier because my insurance has changed and prescription needs to go to a different 90 day Pharmacy. Spend hours on hold. Received 2 return phone calls about 10 days apart, which I missed and when I call back unable to speak to a person. I would rate Zero, but this was not an option. I will run out of my prescription next week.

Very nice service IF YOU HAVE MONEY!!! They only will assist to your needs if you have cash! Try calling up there to talk to a doctor or ask a question, you wont get an answer unless you go pay for an office visit! These people act like they dont have the time of day for a person that isnt regularlythere! I called asking about records and to talk to the doctor, I was told it has been too long since they have seen me and the doctor is just too busy to talk to someone who hasnt been in in a while!! I USE TO GO HERE FOR YEARS, NEVER WILL GO BACK

Dr. Frantz is great but the office has MANY issues. It is almost impossible to speak to a person to schedule an appointment or deal with billing issues that I experienced. I have been dealing with incorrect billing for almost 4 months now. Phone only allows you to leave a message and often is full. They are not good at returning calls.

Dr. Frantz is a great doctor, but the staff is horrific!! Truly the absolute worst! I’ve literally been told that a prescription was being refilled/called in & days later I had to call to follow up because it wasn’t done & WHEN I was able to get someone on the phone they had no clue who I’d spoke to, Dr. Frantz was out of the office for the week & the dr filling in would only refill with an office visit! Mind you this was after I’d already been told it was approved the week prior! Needless to say my husband was without his meds that he’s been on for YEARS. Staff is rude & make decisions that the doctor should be making. Dr. Frantz has personally apologized for not being aware about staff saying medications couldn’t be refilled without an office visit for meds that didn’t require it. Such a shame because he’s awesome but the staff is unbearable.
