Went to see Dr. Bennett-Johnson today and it was a nice visit. She was very professional and kind. Listen to my issues intently. She was by all accounts wonderful. I would definitely recommend her!

Dr. B.J. has been my primary care for more than 15 years. She is passionate about her profession. She is a good listener and is very proactive when it comes to my medical needs.Contrary to other reviews, staff is fair with office manners. We are in 2020 where customer service is challenging no matter where you go.

I have found Dr. Bennett-Johnson to be a consummate professional: the uncommon physician who is willing to take time to fully understand your situation and mind-body-health connections. Its about a lot more than writing prescriptions!This means your actual appointment times might be a little more flexible than some would like, but youll appreciate this when its your turn.My sole regret is that my current insurance plan doesnt cover her.

Dr. Bennetts been my primary physician for around 10 years. She takes the time to get to know you and your life situation. She is wise enough to know how important those factors can be to ones health. 5 years ago I turned in an emergency room with pneumonia one Sunday. When I told the ER physician Dr. Johnson was my Primary, she grinned ear to ear and said me too, isnt she awesome

My first time there was in April. Dr. Bennett was polite and very professional. She listened to my problem and throughly examined me. The staff was very nice and helped me a lot as I needed help from one room to the next. They all made my visit a pleasant one. I highly recommend them

She is a doctor that will actually listen to you and wants to take great care of all her patients and makes real time to listen to your concerns. She the best doctor I’ve ever had and I hope more people refer their friends and family to her as I have.

Dr. Bennett is an outstanding doctor but her staff is rude and unprofessional. Her processes are a little outdated (low technology and lots of paper) but she is very knowledgeable and very personable. She focuses on the special health needs of women and most ethnicity. She would easily receive a 5 star for her skills and knowledge but her staff leaves a lot to be desired and they represent the face of her practice. SO SO SAD :(

Dr. BJ has been my PCP for many years as well as my daughter. She remembers everything about you and your family. She checks you out thoroughly and listens to what you are telling her is hurting or feels different and so many other doctors dont do this in these days. I just love her and will continue to let others know about our Doctor BJ.

Ive been seeing Dr. B-J almost since she opened her practice, and in and out of Various changes through employer sponsored health insurance plans, Ive stuck with her even when she wasnt covered by my plans. She spends a good amount of time with her patients, checking for overall status and not just focusing on symptoms. Her wait times are sometimes long - but its largely because she does spend time with her patients. Shes the first to tell you, shes not a specialist, but shes open to new ideas and approaches. Her staff, by and large, are wonderful, caring professionals, (everyone can have a bad day), responsive and adept at their tasks, and universally considerate even when the office is busy (and it is frequently very busy.) Ive no intention to change doctors anytime soon.

NEVER AGAIN!!! They dont deserve any stars. Very unprofessional, rude and really bad attitude. They put me (new patient) on their schedule on a Friday and verified my insurance over the phone. When I showed up at their office they said they didnt take new patients on Fridays, and they didnt accept my insurance. Worst experience ever. Very frustrating.

I havent even seen the doctor yet and already I am disgusted with the services. Today I got a phone call of confirmation for an appointment that I wasnt even aware of. The person who phoned me was rude, short tempered and unprofessional. This appointment is mandatory and was set up for me, otherwise I would never, and I repeat ever have anything to do with any office or personnel that was the 1st point of contact and treated me that way. I hope the doctor is a different experience from her staff. Im already on the defensive & I dont look forward to my appointment at all.

One of the best Doctors around the ATL area!! She gets to know you and listens to what you say. The staff had always been very helpful also.

I absolutely adore Dr. BJ. She is very personable and has a great bedside manor. She really know her stuff and i never feel rushed during my appointment. However i would have given 5 stars but i am not so sure about the students who work there in her office.There were a few errors made during several visit on the office staff part. Overall the girls are very pleasant. The office is a bit out dated but i will take that any day as long as i am receiving excellent care. She is so good that i refuse to change Dr.s due to insurance. She is worth the Co-pay increase.

Dr. BJ is the best EVER!! She gets to know her patients and really listens ... but her staff over the past year has been horrible!! The woman who answers the phone is so rude and short with us... Weve been a patient for over 14 years, yet she treats us like we dont know anything. Ughhhh!!!

Terrible Customer service. Maria the staff member had no Insurance facts gave wrong information about plans. When offered to bring the Insurance company of 3 way to sort out facts just rudely hung up!

My family and I have all been going to Dr. Bennett-Johnson for over ten years. I have never met a more kind, genuine, and honest person in my life. Not only is she a great person, she is a great physician. She has been instrumental in saving my mothers life three times by providing the correct diagnosis where another doctor did not. Then, recently, she saved my life by finding a fatal error a hospital made during a routine test. I ended up having open-heart surgery thanks to Dr. BJ calling me at 7:30 at home on a Friday night. She cares, listens, and follows through.Her staff is phenominal. Maria, Tamara, and everyone else I forgot to name helped me get the paperwork done immediately for my disability, pharmacy, and referral needs. I would not be here without them.I would reccomend API Medical, Dr. Bennett-Johnson to EVERYONE.
