Patient advocacy is poor. I tried to voice my concerns and I was brushed off as having normal symptoms that she couldnt excuse me from my job. She said that it was a personal issue I had to deal with on my own. She has no bedside manner and I was just another pregnant person to her. She acted like I didnt tell her my symptoms before I had to go to labor/delivery to be checked up on. Or she merely forgot due to me just being a number. I recommend seeing the other doctors in the office-they are great.

She almost hurt me and my son in a way that could have resulted in death. Luckily I got transferred to a different hospital who knew what they were doing and we are ok. She has a horrible bedside manner. Doesn’t listen to patients because she’s the expert so what do we know about our body. The rest of the group of ladies she’s with are amazing. I’d recommend this group but run away from Spellman.
