I love this dentist office. Dr. Sony is very friendly, honest and accommodating. And he is incredibly knowledgeable. He has taught me so much about caring for my teeth. 10/10 would recommend.

I’ve been coming to Dr. Soni for a few years now. Everyone is friendly and kind. Dr. Soni never performs unnecessary procedures, he explains what he is going to do before starting, and he always gives suggestions for improvement that are not judgmental.I plan on remaining a patient for many years to come!

Ive been following Dr.Soni for years love his work never have I been disapointed. Finally he opened his beautiful practice, great staff and great dentist he always wants what is best for you.

I was relatively new to the area and needed a dentist. Based on other reviews I read, I chose this establishment. The office was clean, the equipment seemed up-to-date/new, and the staff was very friendly. I had x-rays done and a general cleaning. I knew I needed some dental work - specifically to one or two of the existing crowns I have. Well, according to the dentist at Great Lakes, he told me I needed almost $10,000 of dental work! Specifically, I needed at least 3 dental implants. Plus I had a cracked tooth that he kept pushing on and asking me if it bothered me. I kept telling him no, but he kept pushing on it until I finally told him to stop. It was as if he was trying to get it to become a problem. I left there and never went back. I was very upset. Found a different dentist in the area. An absolute gem of a man. In the two years since visiting Great Lakes, Ive spent approximately $1,000 dollars with this other dentist and my teeth are great. No implants, no problems with any cracked teeth, nothing other than resolving the issues with my existing crowns. The reason I decided to write this review now was, this week in the mail (2 years after visiting Great Lakes Dental), I received an itemized service contract for approximately $9,800 worth of dental work from them. The contract stated that the prices were good for one year and that I should sign and return the contract at my earliest convenience. Apparently they need the business, but I will never step foot in that office again.UPDATE: A treatment plan and friendly reminder 2 years after the fact? And I forgot to mention, they also included information on how I could get financing for all of the work I supposedly needed.

Dr. Soni and his staff are nothing short of amazing. In the 9 years of knowing him, he has always provided excellent patient care. He is trustworthy, skilled and precise, giving me all the time I need to ask questions. I love that he is caring and provides outstanding routine cleanings- gentle yet efficient. I am impressed by the state of the art equipment he uses. He is very passionate for dentistry, and so knowledgeable on many facets of health care. I highly recommend this practice. His staff is remarkable and Im so happy Im a patient. Thank you!!

This is an AWESOME Dental office, practice, staff, and dentist! They listen to your wants and needs and bend over backwards to meet them every time. They give excellent advice but are not overly pushy and dont question your final decisions. They also work with you, financially, to budget expensive procedures. All in all, and all around, a great office, practice, staff, and dentist! I would (and do) highly recommend them! 🙂

I would highly recommend Great Lakes Dental Solutions and Dr. Anshuman Soni. He is very well qualified and designed an appropriate treatment plan for me, considering my age and medical condition. His staff is also efficient and cordial. The office appears very neat and clean. I will certainly go back for all the follow-ups and treatments

Brought in my 9 year old daughter who is afraid of dentists and by the time we were done she did not want o leave. Very clean, modern office and friendly staff. This will be our new dentist! He was patient and interactive with both me and my daughter. Great visit. I highly recommend. :)

I was very pleased with the way Dr. Soni treated me. I was expecting for my wisdom tooth removal to be bad and it healed very quickly. The removal was not painful at all and i didnt even realize when he was all done. I would definitely go back to his office and recommend other people to come in for dental work.

Very nice and professional staff. Dr.Soni performed two surgical extractions on my daughter. He was very calm and reassuring of the procedure. He talked her through the whole procedure. She was very happy with the result, there was minimal pain and swelling after. I highly recommend Dr.Soni and his team!!!

Dr. Soni and his entire staff at Great Lakes Dental are fantastic. When I originally made my first appointment it was for a routine cleaning. When I got there I had cracked my tooth and was in severe pain. Dr. Soni explained all of my option carefully and in detail. He was able to extract my cracked tooth at that time and the office even checked up on me afterwards. I was then able to make another appointment a week later for my cleaning. Both experiences were awesome. I now have a new Dentist! Highly recommend.

While researching for a dentist in my neighbourhood, I came across Great Lakes Dental Solutions located in Libertyville. I was very much impressed with Dr. Soni, his staff and the office. Besides my dental treatment, I learnt a lot about how to care for my teeth and gums and felt comfortable in the dentist chair. Office has a nice Mom and Pop type caring attitude.
