My son needed and eye exam. Dr. Wegener was very friendly and thorough. He also made sure to explain everything to us, and helped my son pick out a pair of glasses he really likes. Highly recommend!!

The staff and Dr. Wegener are always friendly, informative, gracious and professional. Dr. Wegener never recommends anything you don’t need and doesn’t pressure you into getting extra things for the care of your eyes that he might recommend.

I found Dr. Wegener and Amy charming and very informative! I loved learning more details about the why’s and how’s of my eyes. It will help me take more care thanks to this better understanding. I really enjoyed that Amy asked more questions about my style and likes. This allowed her to select several styles for me to choose from than walking around the store looking at all of the glasses. What a time saver and better experience.

Dr. Wegener was very thorough and helped ease my anxiety about visiting a new eye dr. I typically have a vasovagal response when my eyes are dilated or numbed and he handled it in a professional yet personable way to help me know he was prepared to handle it should the need arise. I really appreciated him taking the time to listen as well as taking precautions to help minimize my discomfort for what is otherwise usually a very stressful dr’s visit. Today’s appointment was not stressful at all and I am happy to say I have found my new eye dr!

They are extremely professional and responsive!! I took my som in for what we thought was pink eye. It turned out to much more serious than that. They got him in for an appointment immediately. The doctor continued to check on him over the weekend to make sure he was responding to the treatment. I am over the top pleased with their office and will not go to another optometrist. Their care is the best

The good - nice office and area and Doctor.The bad - expensive. Last year I spent $300 for three glasses, exam and contacts at Walmart for my daughter. This time it was over $600 for three glasses and just an eye glass exam. Hoping the quality is better and that the experience would be better but most of the glasses looked the same. small selection, they didn’t get the glasses in when they said they would when I told them we would be moving by a certain date. They didn’t call to let me know. Finally I asked if they could mail them to me and they refused to unless I paid for shipping. I’m sure I would have saved them more $ by not coming and spending another 1/2 hour with the doctor to fit the glasses then it would have cost to ship. Disappointed.

Dr. Wegener was very unprofessional and demeaning to me. He refused to wear a mask during my appointment even after I asked him nicely to do so. He was very rude and told me I wasnt very intelligent if I thought a piece of cloth would stop me from getting covid 19. I would not recommend this practice to anybody.

I heard about Dr. Wegener from a local mom’s group. Many of the moms in the group commented that Dr. Wegener was great with kids. Dr. Wegener was very patient with my little one. He explained everything that was being done during the visit. I was really impressed and would highly recommend him!

It was an amazing experience and they explained everything very well. Everyone made me feel super comfortable and made sure I understood what they were explaining to me. Will definitely refer everyone I know to them and I am definitely making this my permanent eye doctor office.

From the moment I walked into the office, the administrative staff was welcoming and friendly. As soon as I finished the intake paperwork, I was seen promtly. Dr. Wegener is incredibly thorough and took the time out to educate me on what he was looking at and why. There are a number optometrist offices between my home and Richards & Wegener, but I plan on continuing my care here in the future. Highly recommend!

Comfortable office atmosphere. Easy to locate. Alan is knowledgeable, confident and in no way pushy. He helped me resolve my issues with wearing contact lens. Which is a blessing because glasses everyday can be annoying.

My family started to go to Dr Wegener soon after his office opened and we are extremely pleased. He is kind and gracious, with a great bedside manner, and he always takes time to talk with both of our small children to answer their many questions and walk them through their exams.Our appointments also began right at their scheduled time which is a welcome change from most other medical appointments, where you end up waiting and waiting to see your healthcare professional.

Love Dr Wegener - His office is independent and not owned by a big corporation. He can take the time to listen and figure out what you need -especially if you have a complicated prescription.
