I first visited William Jewell twenty five years ago and was positively impressed with its reputation and grounds.Last year I toured William Jewell with my daughter as we were college shopping for her. We were impressed with the quality of the place and the friendly, helpful and open people that we met.We were surprised at how small the student body is. We were scared by the cost of tuition. Fortunately they worked with us with academic scholarship and athletic scholarship, making it still costly, but tolerable.My daughter has now been a Cardinal for five months and is very happy. Her largest class has 25 students. Her classes, dorm friends, classmates, professors, teammates and coaches all have been great.Because of its petite size, William Jewell isnt for everyone, but we highly recommend it. Quality over quantity.

Beautiful campus. I enjoyed my visit to the campus.

Great location with history and updated facilities. I would give it look especially if interested in nursing.

Don’t go here. I have never met one person who has genuinely enjoyed their time at Jewell. The RA’s are trying to get everyone in trouble which is why most of the school leaves during the weekends. Decent campus, decent education (very easy), awful experience. Did not feel like a “college experience.” It felt like I was in middle school or high school.

I’m very interested in visiting this school I’m going to love it lol.

I went to the University of Nebraska before I transferred to William Jewell and transferring was one of the worst decisions I have ever made. The closest thing I can compare this school to is it is like attending high school all over again but worse. If you don’t play a sport then you don’t fit in. Another thing is if you play football then you don’t hang with anyone of the other sports teams and same goes the other way. The school is very clicky. If you are a person who likes to have any sort of fun on the weekend then this is not your place because 75 percent of the school goes home on the weekend and the RA’s are literally out to get you in trouble if you stay. They treat you like 12 year olds and don’t give you any freedom. If you are even considering attending this college I highly recommend you don’t.

Most kids I meet there are all right, there are a few elitist snobs but that’s to be expected...

This school as little to no minorities among students and faculty. I faced open bigotry. Would not recommend.

The campus, the professors, and staff are all high quality! Best bang for your buck!!!

They serve great tacos and biology is the ish.

Doing a Ceramic Art Project and Firing the Salt Kiln ever other Month. There is NOT another place in Kansas or Missouri with an art program like this.

I would stay another year if I could afford it! It is such a friendly campus close to KC.

The most monotonous and unnecessary process ever just for an unofficial transcript after paying an arm and a leg for tuition doesn’t typically leave a good taste in an alumna’s mouth.
