I wish they were more compassionate for the Vietnam Veterans suffering the effects of agent orange and ptsd. He wouldnt give them access to his medical information so they refused to see him although he had 3 previous massages they offered to cancel his membership which they did and I canceled mine. Anyone who lives with a vet with ptsd would understand. The picture is from his first massage. Which was better for his 2nd and 3rd time he didnt want deep tissue, just a GENTLE relaxing massage which happened the 2nd and 3rd time. We paid for a service not a medical treatment. Oh well we dont need to worry about them anymore. We find another place .

My experience with Francoise was amazing! This is the first facial that I received where my eye makeup was completely removed during the process of the facial. And I felt very well taken care of! She has a gentle, confident way about her and I look forward to my next appointment with her!

This place is wonderful and the staff is truly amazing. One bad experience will change your mindimmediately. I went to get a Brazilian wax with a young lady that I normally dont see, due to my work schedule changing. The young lady had the wax stick to my skin ripped my skin instead of pulling my hairs out. Now mind you, I had this wax done plenty of time before. I told the young lady to just take it off and Ill come back. Come to find out, the wax wasnt even hott enough. I was swollen for days and still had wax stuck to me. I struggled to get the wax of and I had to soak in a bath several times just to remove it. I called the office and ask the receptionist what I could do to remove it. The receptionist told me she was going to have someone call me back. I never received a call ever.

Over the past few years I purchased a variety of gift cards and gifts for people at the Liberty MO location. I went in to use one of the massages on my account, however, didnt have the corresponding gift card so they wouldnt let me use a massage ON MY ACCOUNT with showing my ID as well. They said because I didnt have the card I couldnt get the massage, I had to pay for it (although Id already paid for it). They wouldnt budge even with me standing there with my ID. So I decided to call their headquarters and they said the same thing! I said so you mean to tell me I cannot use a massage I have paid for on MY account? They said, correct. So I guess if you drop your gift card somewhere and someone finds it, they will be able to use your massage but you wont. I have given numerous gifts from this place, gotten massages myself and my mom even signed up for a membership due to a massage I bought her there (she has since cancelled). So I guess they would rather not let someone use their own massages they have purchased then to keep an ongoing customer and a membership. Doesnt make much sense to me....seems like a odd business model. That $100 was pretty important to them.It is unfortunate because their massage therapists have been really good!*in regards to the owners response....but at Walmart and Target I dont have an account set up with them that shows my name and that I have purchased something with them that hasnt been used. I realize if I lose a Target giftcard Im out of luck. But if I have a massage on my account that I have obviously already paid for who cares of the gift card is there or not. It is quite apparent when your system is opened that I had massages paid for and I had my ID proving who I was. If I didnt have massages paid for the girls wouldnt have said yes, we see you bought massages but you dont have the gift card so you cannot use them. Makes no sense....

These guys go above and beyond. I’ve had many massages And memberships over the years, Hand and Stone in Liberty has been my best experience. The staff is friendly and caring. They’re flexible and always fix any problems you may have. I cannot stress that they go above and beyond, because that isn’t a type of service you see everyday. If you don’t live in Liberty it’s worth the drive. Highly recommend.

I’ve been going to another Establishment for the last 6 months or so and recently, the massages and customer service have been sub par. I chose to try somewhere new and Hand and Stone was very highly rated. I tried their online booking first and it was very easy to get scheduled within a few days. There was a scheduling error with their online booking system but the receptionist was very quick to call me and get me work another therapist for the same date and time. The receptionist was also very helpful in explaining the additional services and their monthly membership.I was placed with Juanita and she was WONDERFUL. She listened to the problems I was having with my upper back and immediately started working to help relax the muscles. She delivered a firm, calming pressure and by the end of my time with her, I could actually turn my head to the left and move without pain. I will definitely be returning, it was worth every cent.

I have PTSD and cannot wear a mask. Upon being hired at Hand and Stone in early January, I made that clearly known and it wasnt an issue with them. I did a practical on the 5th of January and came in for training 3 weeks later. All of the sudden after the first day of training, I was told at that time it was necessary to get a doctor letter explaining my condition. The only acceptable letters would be from an MD or DO. I had no problem doing this. Upon short notice I paid 290 dollars for a appointment. The doctor had no consideration for my condition and would not accommodate me unless I started medication or regularly saw him for therapy. (All about money) After paying that much I wasnt going to try again. So it was ok by standards of Hand and Stone to be in their building to give the lead Therapist a massage and get their training without being paid for it, but not ok to continue working after that. Additionally, I am still in the process of trying to get my 290 back. Definitely not the way I would choose to do business.

Shame you cant leave ZERO STARS!! So now that Ive been using Hand and Stone for a couple months I have changed my mind completely about this company (I use the term loosely). I have been attempting to speak with the office manager to resolve my problem but after 3 attempts and zero calls back thanks to Hayden I have had it. This company operates under a bait and switch business plan which is where I have ultimately ended with my opinion. My first facial was fantastic, sadly I do not remember her name. However, 2 months later and a facial with Kelly and I feel as though I have been taken advantage of. First a facial is anywhere between 50-60 minutes for about $65 a month if you use their membership service. Not a bad price etc. I left feeling as if I were in the room having paid for 20min of service from someone in the mall. She literally rubbed 2 ointments on my face, placed steam on me (which yes is part of the procedure) for 90% of the time, played with my hair a bit under the guise of a Peppermint Scalp Massage for an extra $15 (my boyfriend massages better and doesnt ask for a tip) and called it a day, Ive had facials at this location and other locations what I had did not add up to facial. I also added on a Green Light Phototherapy treatment, I have no idea if this was actually performed, it was never talked about once I asked and agreed to add it on, it was never mentioned as Im starting this process on you, no green light was ever on in the room so to be honest I have my doubts especially when it was a $40 add on. Kelly was nice, office staff was nice. That was the best part of my trip and I certainly did not pay quite a bit of money just for a positive attitude. They in my mind didnt fullfill their end of the agreement made for my facial and I have been taken advantage of completely. I would never recommend using their services EVER! They used me as a bank account that day, they in no part cared about customer satisfaction because on top of poor service the girl at the desk still charged the incorrect credit card on my account. And the company is refusing to take care of any damages they have caused in the long run because the office manager wont return my phone call.

I received a prenatal massage from Candice and it was wonderful. I am in my third trimester and was struggling to walk, sit, sleep, and function in general due to sciatic nerve pain. I’ve never had such great results from a massage than I did with this massage. My husband was so impressed he urged me to make a second appointment for the following week. Though I can’t speak for other therapists, I highly recommend Candice for prenatal!

The whole experience was horrible we called me to appointment gave our names and everything spelled it out when we get there they got the wrong appointment set up our names is in the system wrong wrongly spelled wrong last name just horrible all out we had to reschedule you couldnt even do nothing that day because they everything was messed up will not go back

This was my first massage ever and I had the best experience. All of the staff makes you feel very welcomed and prioritized. I had Mark W and he did a great job! I even ended up getting a membership that day. However, I did find something a little disappointing.. the website is a little misleading when it offers a 60 minute massage (for $59.95) but really it’s only 50 minutes long because they take 10 minutes out of your time to undress and dress even though it only took me 2 minutes AT THE MOST each time..

I received a gift card for Hand & Stone and used it promptly. I was able to make an appointment fairly soon after I called and had a top notch masseuse assigned to me. She commented she had many years of experience and it showed! She was extremely professional, aware and only talked if I wanted to talk ( which is important to me). When Im fortunate enough to have another massage, Ill return to Hand & Stone and make sure I get the same masseuse.

Ricardo was very knowledgeable and skilled. I’m a dental hygienist and was feeling very twisted up but after my massage, I left feeling rejuvenated!

This was my first massage, and it was quite nice. My issues were with shoulder pain, so the therapist focused the session on my back. Eric was skilled and knowledgeable, and afterwards my back felt much better. He also showed me some exercises to help loosen the muscles. I’d be back if I could - I’d recommend this place.

BEST MASSAGE EVER by Lauretta, she is ALWAYS AMAZING! Have had 2 facials there now and unfortunately have been less than impressed. I will stick to massages with Lauretta. You just never know what you will get with the front desk staff. Some make you feel very special and give you that Spa experience and others, not so accommodating. Love having a membership however...it makes me get massages that I know is so good for me.

From the MOMENT I walked in, I was greeted in such a professional manner. The front desk girls are so incredibly cheery and knowledgeable of all the services offered and how the membership programs work. I love the tranquil blue atmosphere, the music, and being offered coffee or tea as soon as you walk in? BONUS!!! I first had an underarm waxing with Francoise, and she was so incredibly attentive to my needs, incredibly sweet, and when I started crying with relief from the scalp massage she didnt make me feel judged AT ALL. Being happy with that service, I decided to give another chance to get a massage at this kind of place. Ive NEVER had a good experience with ANY therapist in my whole life. But I was lucky to get Holly. I have a cervical condition that leaves me very sensitive in the neck, and a pelvic problem that gives me severe lower back pain and Im SUPER tender in my lower back. Shes the ONLY therapist I have had that performed stretching of some sort that relieved me, with a soothing touch, and she was so delicate and cautious on my tender areas. And the best part? I left with relief from the fullness in my head and my sharp pains in my lower back were completely gone. She has extensive knowledge of anatomy and how to handle the muscles for sure. I had never had a massage like that before. She was calm, caring, and applied pressure exactly where I needed it. I highly recommend her!!

I am a truck driver. I pulled a leg muscle and had other neck and back tightness. Called Hand and Stone. They got me in within the hour. The ladies at the front made me feel welcome and comfortable. The 2 hour massage was fantastic!!! He used deep pressure (which I like) and worked the muscles until the knots were out. Everyone was excellent!!! A wonderful experience. If you want to have a relaxing experience from the moment walk through the door, then this is your place. I had an incredible 60 minute detox/ exfoliating facial with Kayla. The fact that I am now a member and my next appointment is Saturday... I think speaks for itself. The customer service here was excellent. No one was trying to push you into buying memberships however , after you are finished with your treatment you will come out inquiring about a membership all on your own I promise! Definitely a two thumbs up thats for sure!!!

I didnt know this spa was in Liberty--I just happened to see it when I was leaving Ulta and decided to walk over and check them out since Id been wanting to get a facial. They were able to take me as a walk in, and their esthetician Franciose was fantastic! She did a wonderful job explaining my skin type and what treatments she thought would be best, and my skin was *glowing* when she was finished. It has been a week and it still looks amazing. I signed up for the monthly program to save some money since I will definitely be making this part of my regular self-care routine. So happy to have this spa so close to home!
