I’m from out of town. Needed pads replaced on my glasses. Sansbury replaced them for free! Provided outstanding service! If you live in the Lexington SC area, make Sansbury your first stop for eye care!

Love Dr. Petty! Shes so friendly and personable. The kind of Dr that makes you feel like it hasnt been a year since you saw her. Office staff is super nice also. I cant help but feel like Im back in the 80s though with their outdated office decor but Im an old soul at heart and an 80s kid, so I dont mind the nostalgia personally. I do wonder how updated their equipment is, as some of it looked super old. I still love this office regardless though.

A very clean and welcoming place to be! They have great customer service and do their best to make their patients feel comfortable with their new guidelines due to the virus. They have a very wide variety of glasses to choose from and both of the doctors are very knowledgeable. The receptionist Victoria is so welcoming and makes you feel right at home. I would recommend!

I’ve been going here for several years and they have always been super nice and helpful! They are very clean and sanitary. The staff is super nice and friendly! They answer any questions that I have and take there time. I never feel like I’m being rushed when I’m coming in to see them and the doctor makes sure your comfortable and you are satisfied with your glasses/ contacts.

My husband and I were trying to find a different eye center to go to so we called Sansbury. They were very booked up but the receptionist Victoria worked very hard to get my husband and I in! Dr. Petty is so sweet and takes her time with you! We ordered glasses and we are both in love with them!! I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a friendly and clean environment!

I couldnt be happier with my experience at Sansbury Lexington. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Dr. Petty was wonderful. Every part of my exam and contact lens order was explained to me in detail. I highly recommend Sansbury Lexington!

Victoria was very helpful and Dr. Telly and her assistant that did the testing were very thorough and professional. The exam part was great. The person that helps you pick out the glasses not so great.

Asked about cost and/or appointment for a pupil distance measurement and was abruptly told it could only be done if buying glasses, turns out it can be done free with someone holding a metric ruler on your forehead.

Dr. Justine is hilarious and made everything quick and easy. All of the staff was very friendly and they got me for an exam as well as a pair of contacts to try out in about an hour!

They were great. My husband and I are very happy with our experience as they are all true professionals. It is always tough thinking about picking out new glasses and Inger was fantastic in providing a lot of great options to fit our look. She knows her stuff. Lauren was fantastic in preparing them and measuring for the lenses. Bottom line we are glad we chose Sansbury and found our new eye center.

I started trying to figure out what was wrong with my eyesight back in high school. I never really got an answer despite going to multiple places. Finally, I went here. The doctor not only knew what I was talking about when I was describing my symptoms but was also able to give me a diagnosis (finally). I got my glasses a couple of months ago and things have definitely improved. Definitely recommend!

I was going with the sole purpose of picking out new glasses with my new prescription. I had been to a competitor and they basically told me where the womens side was and never checked on me. I left. I walked into Sansbury and was immediately welcomed and got a good feeling about the place. Lauren immediately came up and helped me and asked what I was looking for. She pulled the exact type of glasses I was wanting and did not try to force anything on me. She was very warm and welcoming and stayed with me the entire time. I chose regular glasses and sunglasses. When I checked out, those girls were super nice! We chatted while I checked out. I am waiting for my glasses to come in and excited about them. I will continue to use Sansbury in the future for my glasses needs.

I love this office!!! I have been using them for regular visits, which have been great. But also have had 2 emergencies that have come up and they have seen me same day, take care of the issue and ease my concerns!! The staff is incredibly friendly and the doctors are wonderful!!

I picked up my new glasses today. As I drove home I was experimenting with my new vision. When I got home I continued looking around admiring what I was able to see. I could see buds on the trees where before just the shape of the buds. I can see the veins in marble tile, the apps on my phone are in such detail..in fact much to my surprise one of my apps is actually 3D and I never knew that. The sticker on your windshield top left from getting an oil change OMG!!! Thanks to the doctor and staff..best experience!!

Lexington Sansbury is the only place I will go for contacts, eye exams, and now glasses. Lauren was awesome, as are ALL the people who work there. Dr Petty is the Best. Can’t thank them enough for how easy they make this whole “seeing thing” process. Highly recommend going there.

We have been going to Sansbury for years and love it. Dr. Petty and Rachel are wonderful! Everyone there is professional, friendly, and they go above and beyond for exceptional customer service.

I had a wonderful experience. This was my first eye exam a long time, and couldnt have asked for anything to make it better. I was late, but didnt matter, they were able to get me in and out in less than hour. Most of that time, was on me, with exploring options on glasses.Special shout out to Lauren, for the help with trying on about 20 different sets to find the right one. Dr. Petty is always awesome. I have been seeing her since the old Dr. passed. The girls are always attentive and helpful. Every once in a while they have to order my contacts but thats the only complaint I have.

I am delighted to report that I had the best eye center visit ever today. I had a minor emergency and they cheerfully worked me in on a Saturday. Everyone I encountered was kind, efficient and professional. I was especially grateful for the support I received from Rachel Tyler AND Dr. Justice Petty was simply spectacular. She was focused, informative, attentive and responsive. It was clear that she cared about her patients. Additionally, she carefully explained my dilemma and offered corrective drops. I am changing doctors to become Dr. Pettys patient. I am overjoyed to have someone of her caliber in our community. I highly recommend her.

Love Dr Mark Taylor, he takes time and makes you feel at ease. The clinical staff that helped me was very professional and helpful, Inger Knowles was very helpful in getting my glasses to fit just right and that makes me happy.

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Lauren took her time with me while i was choosing frames all the way to the type of lens i wanted...AND THEY TOOK MY VSP INSURANCE!!

The eye exam was great. The reception staff was very friendly and explained everything very well. I had no misunderstanding about what the exam was going to cost, given my insurance.When it came time to get glasses it was a different story. The sales person used car sale like tactics to try to pressure me into buying more expensive lenses. He claimed my insurance was great but when it came time for my single vision computer glasses bill it was almost $300! I said that I would like to shop around because it seemed very expensive. He was clearly upset. I think a fair profit is reasonable but if my insurance company covers $200-$300 of my glasses and my bill is still $300 something is wrong. This experience will push me elsewhere.Also, I saw a response to another negative review regarding pupillary distance that claimed the reason they couldnt give out the pupillary distance was because of liability and that it needed to be measured on their highly accurate machine. Mine was measured using sharpy dots on the demo lens and a ruler.

Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable. I saw Dr. Petty and she was great! Very friendly, great personality, and honest. I was unable to purchase my frames the day of my appointment due to financial reasons but went back two days later and they had me fitted and glasses ready very quickly. Not to mention it was about 30 minutes before closing and I didnt feel like I was rushed.

I went for my yearly checkup, and had to get new eyeglasses. I was looking for a specific pair, and they could not find them. So I ordered a different pair. The glasses were too small for my face once they came in and the hard plastic around my ears rubbed them. I have always purchased the hard plastic type. Then a couple months ago I lost them in the ocean and called the store to get my prescription so that I could order another pair online. They sent it to me, I got online to order a new frame and lens and I needed the (pd) pupil distance, I called back to the store and they Refused to give me my pupil distance which is my personal information. I will never go back.

I made an appointment and arrived on time. When I got there the receptionist was less than friendly. After filling out paperwork and waiting, I was pleasantly surprised to see my previous eye Doctor. She checked out my eyes and I exited to the lobby. Once again I wasn’t treated well by the reception staff. Maybe it was a bad day. Not a terrible experience but not what I’m used to from Sansbury.

Was stuck in Illinois without contacts or glasses on a business trip. Ive been going to this place since I was a kid. Tried to order online and they wouldnt verify my prescription because it expired 14 days ago. Would do nothing to help. Disappointed with the service. Caused me huge problems due to a formality.

Didnt have a very good experience there today I was told we had a 10.00 co pay on our insurance they told us twice then when we were leaving they claimed the 2 of us owed 140.00 dollars 70 dollars a piece for the contact exam which we told them our strength and all we did was get the same contacts we had so were still confused how we owed 140.00 dollars this just seems unreal and ridiculous Not a Happy Customer
