I believed all the hype and reviews about this doctor and her assistant and was greatly disappointed. She put me on very unnecessary AND expensive medications. She told me that I had scored so badly on one of her tests that I need to have further testing done on my brain. She contacted my insurance without my knowledge to get approved for more MRIs on my head, which would have been around 5 in one years time. She also referred me to a neurosurgeon and said that I would need surgery on my brain. I saw one that I knew and that confirmed to me that shes all about the money and getting what she can from insurance. Ive called and emailed her assistant, Iris, numerous times over the last 8 months to get an itemized receipt for paperwork that she filed for me and have gotten no responses from either. Last week I called their office manager and left a message letting her know the situation and havent heard back from her either. This is NOT good customer service. The patient always come first. I dont like leaving bad reviews for anyone, but I feel like Im not being treated fairly.

She has helped me to no end. She gave me my life back. Attentive, patient, caring. Listen to her follow what she says.

Do not fall for the good reviews or the pleasant 1st visit. She copy-pastes diagnosies and tests like you are DEFINITELY going to have MS or some other life-altering diagnosis. She misdiagnosed me and almost had me convinced to take very expensive injections. Get a 2nd opinion! UTSW is the same price and WAY better.

Shes the best. If you dont understand something, she will break it down. She makes sure to check all your concerns with no hesitation, speaks with ease, and does not rush you nor speeds through your visits. She is so sweet and has the kindest bedside manner. She rxplains everything so you will understand without being condescending. She has the sweetest demeanor so you do not get upset but yet understand it is an important matter.I cannot say enough good things about her! She is number 1 in my book and would recommend her to everyone!!!

I have been going to Dr. Cantrell since 2006 when she diagnosed my MS. She has kept mycondition from deteriorating for 13 years. I am so grateful she was recommended to me,as she has been a real blessing. Besides being so knowledgeable and professional sheis also very kind and caring. Dr. Cantrell is knowledgeable and compassionate. We drive from out of state to see her (and have been doing so for about 5 years) because she was able to diagnose a problem missed by other doctors and effect a treatment plan that has brought about significant improvement. Not only does she care about her patients medical conditions, she cares about her patients general well-being. She always takes her time with us and answers all questions. Her staff is also very friendly and helpful.

Dr. Cantrell is an excellent Neurologist. She has been my doctor since 12-18-18. She explains everything to me about my condition fully. She is very personable. Her office is very nice and her employees couldnt be more helpful and friendly.

I have been going to Dr. Cantrell for years now. She was the ONLY neurologist that could get my seizures under control. No other neurologist could do that and my last neurologist sent me to Dr. Cantrell because she is the best and he did not know what to do for me anymore. She always takes the time to talk with me and answer all of my questions, I never feel rushed with her. Staff is always friendly and I have never waited more than 20 minutes to be seen. She is the best neurologist around without a doubt!

Posting review for Travis Estes. Dr Cantrell has done more for my recovery from a total right side stroke in 2008 and a second in 2009 than any other physician or doctor. She is a very intelligent, caring and conscientious doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Cantrell to anyone that has had a neurological problem.
