Absolutely terrible. I have been trying to cancel my membership and personal training for 4 months. After several phone calls with Mady she has been able to refund 1 or the 2 months for personal training that I shouldnt have been charged for...

I have always loved this gym and I still love it but at this point after Texas has been opened completely and most people have been vaccinated and the gym no longer requires masks to enter, the restriction on hours doesn’t make sense. They cannot use the excuse of safety of customers or employees anymore because no one is wearing masks anymore. Please go back to normal hours if not at least open till midnight and open on Sundays as well! The hours really affect my ability to use the gym on weekends. At this point I am seriously considering changing to a new gym because of the hours!

Either theyre actively trying to scam you out of money to make up for not being 24 hour gym (with seemingly no plans to return to 24 hours either) OR not a single person in the entire facility has any kind of critical thinking skills and it will be at a cost to you and unfortunately theres nothing we can do. Theyve certainly Golds Gym administration vibes and thats a terrible place to be. Just canceled and of course its gunna take an extra month to process, how convenient for them

Good gym for powerlifting/bodybuilding with a decent selection of equipment. That being said prices are going up. I recently paid $60 as a sign on fee which two weeks ago I was quoted $39. The worst part is they have limited hours which are horrible on weekends. If the owner reads this PLEASE go back to 24/7. Even planet fitness is back to that. Come on, do better.

Im not sure which health club this is because Im visiting many different locations, but I like them all. Their equipment is easy to figure out. Im getting some good workouts.

Very clean down to earth people and workers. No one bothers you or stares. You legit get ur own space when working out.

My husband and I love this Gym, especially the Kids Club, but since they hired Ry-Ann, our kids beg us to go to the gym so they can enjoy the awesome activities she plans for them. She deserves a raise for going way above and beyond! On a side note: please go back to being open on Sundays.

Provides a lot of equipment and has their own space for women. And has a Santa. And a good price the only thing is they close at 10 PM

I signed up after they open and the staff said they will open 24 hours a days during the summer. They are lying, they just want to make money. I hate this gym.

I have been a member since Fitness Connection was called World Gym. However, I do not like whats happening this year. They keep cancelling classes, even though they only had very few classes to begin with. They only have two body pump classes, and one instructor has health issues so she cannot be relied on to teach consistently. The other travels for her work a lot so she has cancelled most of her July classes. Could you find substitute instructors? I only attend classes in this gym, and if they keep canceling the classes, what is the point of my membership?

FC needs to do a better job of communicating with members the importance of wiping down machines after use! While I understand the gym has no way to enforce this, they can do a better job with signage reminding guests to clean equipment and provide more cleaning stations, particularly in the womens area. I was there this past Saturday at 5pm, and only 5 other women came in that area, and NONE of them wiped the machines after they used them. As a guest, it is NOT my responsibility to remind them of this. The women who use this area are completely disgusting, gross and inconsiderate of others! We are living in a pandemic and FC will get shut down again if we dont all do our part to lessen the transmission. Not to mention wrapping my hands in someone elses funk is gross!

The gym is incredible. It’s super clean and I feel very safe even though there is covid I don’t feel at all at risk. The way they keep you informed of the time changes and everything it’s great communication. Thalia is a very amazing employee makes me feel welcomed every time I come in she always has a huge smile always super sweet ! By far one of my favorite employees there

At this point it is very aggravating that they haven’t changed the hours back when most, if all, covid restrictions have been lifted. They also continue to charge the full fee as if they are providing full service. I have never had an issue with this gym but it is becoming inconvenient and unprofessional.

Thalia is one of the best employees I’ve ever dealt with. I’d definitely recommend this gym solely because she’s very polite to others, such as myself who needed help. Great customer service from her!

I have never had a worse experience at a gym before. I called to cancel my account 3 years ago, and I found out a few months ago I had been paying the entire time. After I realized, I called again to cancel and was told my account would terminate at the end of June. I went in at the end of June and asked if I could keep my membership for a couple more months. They told me that they must have made a mistake when I had called before because my account was still active and not set to terminate. I went in today and found out that it actually did terminate at the end of June. Absolutely ridiculous

The staff are the best, one in particular Thalia was so professional and really nice handling really mean customers aka Karens. Recommend it here equipment is well put up and very easy to use! Will definitely continue coming here.

I got a membership here because I thought it was open 24 hours. There’s a big sign out front that says “Open 24/7”. I understand that it’s for “health and safety of customers and employees” but I mean it’s pretty obvious that the gym saves money by cutting hours of operation and not telling people who are signing up for a membership. Overall very good equipment though and a nice locker room, but it would be nice if the sauna was operational.

Used to love this gym in high school when I went to it. Just called about a membership question and Corey was awesome in helping me find the solution.

Love the staff, very friendly and professional. Had a situation where this Karen lady was yelling at me for no reason when I was minding my own business doing a exercise, she proceeded to get a staff member. The staff member didn’t know what had happened, so she didn’t take sides and just said if we kept arguing we would have to leave and she didn’t want that since we were here to just work out. Loved how she handled that, continued my workout and the Karen lady called me something I can’t put on google but 10/10 would recommend this place!

Good equipment but it feels like pulling teeth trying to cancel your membership.

I love my gym! Im so glad its open and when I can get a sitter, I go. I love the womens area and I always see someone cleaning no matter what time I go. I wanted to give 5 stars but Im sad about the kids area being closed. I know its a COVID-driven, safety precaution, but it keeps me from going as often as I want and need to go. You cannot beat the price. I hope to continue my membership there for years to come. Its already been over 6 years for me and Ive seen nothing but improvements.

Wish they went back to 24 hours. I mean that’s why I’m paying.... Pretty money hungry too despite the yearly fee and monthly fee. $10 every time you lose your card. I worry about canceling though due to what I’ve heard. The whole closing at 8 on Fridays and not opening at all on Sundays is so they don’t lose money paying employees to open. Pretty bogus. I mean it’s not like the virus is extra dangerous on Sundays smh. Also y’all have mice in the room with the mirrors

During the pandemic this was one of the first gyms that opened up. I am very impress how they can manage a big gym like that and keep it clean through the whole day.

A good gym, they have a policy about wearing masks and gloves, but I wish they enforced it more. If you go after 6, you can bet that 2/3 people are either not wearing a mask, or wearing it under their noses.Ive seen them enforce it sometimes, but I truly hate to see the sheer amount of people that dont care about infecting others with the virus.

Corporate steals your money and dont refund it back. So I cancel my with membership with having a credit of 10.83 but they charged me again while my membership is canceled. Then the agent hung up on me and I wasnt rude.

I have not had to go through the issues if cancelling as I am still a member and enjoy the gym. With that said, the staff are friendly and the equipment availability (they have rowing machines!) is great. I also love using the sauna after a workout. Add in childcare for ALL THREE of my kids (which is included with membership) while I work out and you really can’t find a better value out there. My kids love coming to the gym with me and the childcare staff is always kind.

Using Covid as an excuse to shorten hours of operation is sleazy. Closing at 8pm on Fri, 5pm on Sat and completely closed on Sunday is uncalled for imo.

Worst gym ever. Everything is a ripoff. Lose your card? $10. Want to cancel? You have to mail and theyll sit on it until you follow up with them. Happened with two other friends of mine. Theyll try to get you signed up Even if it means lying or being deceptive. Their bottom line is selling as many memberships as possible. Gym is overcrowded and equipment are rarely maintained or cleaned. Stay out of this gutter hole gym. Their management down to the front desk is unprofessional and rude.

This gym is unacceptable. I went to cancel my membership in person today. The staff told me this is done by the general manager who will be here on Monday, so I have to wait until Monday to receive an email from him. I hope they mark my cancellation day as the day I actually came in to the gym to cancel which is today (1/9/2021). Then the staff also said you have to give a 30-day notice to cancel. So even though I was charged on January 4th, she said I will be charged AGAIN on February 4th! There is a pandemic going on. This is so wrong! Their cancellation policy is horrible! I won’t sign up again even once everything gets back to normal. This gym is not even 24 hours anymore, nor do they discount the monthly price due to this. I am very disappointed. Do not waste your time with this gym. I wish I could give zero stars.

MAJOR IMPROVEMENT: I called today to cancel membership and I was able to do it over the phone. This has been a major pet peeve with me for a long time that you had to send in a written / certified mail to cancel account if needed. I commend Fitness Connection for making it as simple as a phone call to cancel service. If I decide to join a gym again in future, Fitness Connection will be a consideration.

Was a member of this gym & location for 6 yrs, even before they were purchased by Fitness Connection. Great gym, equipment & amenities, but the customer service lacked.Was on hold for 20 minutes in the call tree trying to cancel & decided to call back to get a live person at this location. Cancelled my membership, but being charged another month, glad to see you are enforcing your Ts & Cs of the agreement during this pandemic. On top of being closed for 2 months during the start of this pandemic, shutting down class or sections of the gym that are the driving force to come.Glad to know, corporate collects their monthly fee & skips out on the customer service during this time. Will be double thinking returning when gyms fully open.

Cancellation Contract Problems there are a few ways this could occur: 1 Moving 2. Health Issues. This would not occur do to the facilities themselves. The pricing is ridiculous in a great way and the gym is beautiful.If you are having contract Problems then you didnt read your contract properly thus your problem and not the gym. If you are quiting due to the facility itself you have personal issues.Fitness Connection is an amazing deal.
