Stuck up person on phone when I called to make an appointment. This would have been my first visit based on the good reviews I read. However, first impression when calling to schedule an appointment was as if they are doing me a favor by scheduling him “maybe some time next week”. Wake up! You are not the only groomers in the world! Very upset.

Our dog always has fun, comes home tired from daycare, and is safe. If their cameras were working it would definitely be 5 star!

I really like this place as do my boys. Normally if we take them to a groomer, vet, etc, they tug on their leash in the opposite direction of the building but when we park outside of Dog’s Day they rush to the door. They normally try to jump into the staff’s arms the moment they get inside and never seem afraid or upset to be there (which is reassuring as a dog dad). They also bathe the boys for a little extra and they come home smelling fresh and extremely tired from playing all day! You should definitely think about taking your fur babies here.

My dog gets so hype as soon as he realizes where were headed! He loves being here and everyone at Dogs Day Out is super friendly and helpful. When my dog pulled a muscle in his back while there (from jumping like a lunatic - his own fault) the staff rushed to help get him out to us and called later that night to make sure he was doing OK. We love taking him here!

Dog’s Day Out was very professional but my only downfall was the groomer forgetting the style I wanted so I had to change my baby cut. I was very excited about his mohawk that I wanted him to have. But she did apologize.

Ive been using dogs day out in Lewisville for years. The staff is always very friendly. The dogs are always well taken care of when we leave them. Absolutely no complaints. Pricing is pretty good compared to other options in the area.

This place is awesome! Thorough form you fill out, to discribe your dogs needs, if special attention is required. The lady I talked to initially was so nice and enthusiastic about my dog trying out day camp! The first day is a trial day to see if your dog is ok at camp and then you are good to go.I will be boarding my dog there over Thanksgiving, they called to confirm the dates and offered to bathe him before I picked him up! Little things like that are a 5 star in my book!

I went to check out the place, and as soon as I got in there I felt comfortable. They took me on a tour and explained how they interact with the dogs and allow the dogs to interact with one another. They dont keep the dogs caged up. The dogs have access to run around inside as well as outside. They also allowed me to sample, by leaving my dog for an hour or more to see how he would like it (free). Absolutely love it, and they are very kind and friendly with the dogs. They know each dog by name! Will be coming back

My experience with this place was shocking and disappointing. Every time I pick up my dog he smells worse than a wet dog so I asked them to give him a “spa” bath before I pick him up. When I got there he was wet and sitting in a small crate (I have a big dog) and they had old and loud floor fans on top of the crate and on the sides blowing on him and he was very scared. Not to mention the area was filthy and in a disarray. Needless to say I will never be back.

After several bad grooming experiences elsewhere, I brought my older mini Schnauzer to Dogs Day Out. She hadnt been properly groomed in months, so she was a mess. The groomer did a fantastic job! She looked adorable, smelled great, and had a cute little bow around her neck. She was at ease when I picked her up, so clearly she was treated well. I will definitely be returning.

They are amazing & truly care about your Pet. They even called me on a Sunday during my vacation to let me know how my dog was doing with boarding bc they knew I was worried. That meant a lot to me. I can not give them enough STARS!!! They are also very personal with owners & pets. I appreciate the love they show my dogs always. We have been using them for several years for both grooming & boarding. I highly recommend them to everyone.

I hardly ever give a review, but this place is awesome! They did an awesome job with my dog. Treated her so friendly. The staff was super nice and made me feel relieved about leaving her there while I was at work. I will definitely be going back!

There’s no where else I trust to watch my dogs. Sunny and Puma have been coming here for about two years now and they’ve always been treated so well. Never had any problems and my little boys have a great time playing! We used to live very close, now we live near Downtown Dallas and still make the drive up to Lewisville when they need to be boarded.

In town from Omaha to visit my daughter who lives close by this facility. So glad I made use of it. Super friendly people and one worker actually had a MinPin so they knew what kind of personality they had to deal with. Will definitely make use of them again when Im back down this way. Oh, and the price was very affordable for an all day play date💖💖

Love using their dog salon for our dogs haircuts! We used to use PetSmart but after they clipped our dog and made her bleed twice in a row, we gave this place a try and we love it! The prices are reasonable and they always do a great job. Theyre less busy too so they get done a lot quicker than PetSmart. Definitely would recommend their spa to any dog owner!

Walked in, walked out. Place smells like hell. I know its for dogs but other doggie places I have been at didnt make me queasy two feet into the building.

Dogs Day Out is great! I have been sending my dog there for over a year now and he loves it. He is always so excited to go that he can barely wait to get out of the car. The staff treats him as part of the family and he loves all of them. He is always so excited to greet them at the door and comes home exhausted and happy. They are also really on top of things! My dog got into a scuffle with another dog this week and Chad called me immediately to tell me my dog had sustained a couple of abrasions (extremely minor, just a couple of grazes). They treated his wounds and left him up until I could come and get him in the evening and then didnt charge me for the day. The next day he called to check up on him and make sure he is OK. Sometimes dogs are going to get into arguments and that is just the nature of animals, but the Dogs Day Out staff handles it well and has experienced staff that knows how to calm down the animals and get everyone back to playing nicely.

I dont even know where to begin! Suzy and the awesome staff take great care of my dog when I am at work. Amy grooms him and even though hes not very patient, Dougal always looks great! Theyve managed to squeeze in a boarding at last minute over a holiday weekend, or keep him if Im running super late from work.I dont think I could manage a dog and work without Dogs Day Out! They have been my hero too many times to count, all while providing a safe, fun and loving environment for my fur-kid.

I have used Dogs Day Out since 2011 for everything from daycare to boarding to grooming for my two Westies, French bulldog and Japanese chin. I have experienced nothing but quality service. They are a bit pricier than other places but you get what you pay for and I want the best. Everyone is friendly and I can tell they really love dogs. I would recommend Dogs Day Out to anyone who has a little bit more discriminating taste. Oh and grooming of my Japanese Chin was amazing!!!

Good honest folks and they take care of you when you have a last second boarding or grooming. I think the groomer is excellent and she does a great job on our 3 standard poodles.The prices are very competitive and I have no complaints about ever taking our dogs there for a boarding or grooming. Would recommend to anyone needing dog boarding and grooming.

OMG!!! Best place I have tried for grooming! I have two yorkies and one of them hates water and haircuts. She gets so squirmy and makes it hard to groom her but Amy was able to handle her. She did an amazing job with both my Yorkies. I will highly recommend this place! Amy is great! All of the staff was great!

Our fur baby seems to enjoy going to dog day out to play. Their groomer is very good. Everyone there seems to be nice, the facilities appear to be very clean.

This is an experience about a job interview then a job offer from this place. They did an interview with my wife for a receptionist position and she was offered the position. She has years of experience. She was asked to start from the following Thursday at 6 am. When she showed up to work on Thursday, waking up at 5 am and taking an uber to get there, they told her that the position has already been filled. She was speechless and left, again taking an uber back. This has been quite a horrendous experience for us to say the least. If this is how they treat people/employees, I don’t know how much better they would treat the animals. As an owner of 4 pets myself, I highly doubt I would leave my pets with them even if they were the last place on earth. Hope you think twice as well.

Not taking our Sheltie back to the groomer— and she’s gone multiple times now. The groomer cut her body hair so short and kept her mane full so that she looks like a rat/lioness. I called the manager and he blamed miscommunication on my husband. Also it was $73 and we had to wait a week and a half for the appointment so not it’s not cheap or convenient.

Id leave NO stars if I could! This place is horrible, first the cameras are down and then they dont answer your calls, my brother picked up his dog not only did she look thinner she also looked like she had been around other dogs which he was told wasnt going to happen, she also was staying in the room he had signed for her. Dont trust them with your pets they poorly take care of them 😡

I would pay close attention to the newer reviews. Took my dogs here over a year ago and customer service and daycare experience were great. Just boarded them this weekend and I am LIVID.First of all my husky was due for her heartworm prevention. She wasnt interested in breakfast that morning and I didnt want to give her the prevention on an empty stomach as it had made her vomit in the past. Upon arriving at Dogs day, I asked the staff it they could offer her breakfast and give it to her after. The girl at the counter told me no, they would give it to her that evening after dinner around 5. So youll try and feed her an hour before youre leaving and give her the pill after? Why?! She acted like it was a giant inconvenience and said they would make sure she kept it down for the hour they were there after dinner. I really dont understand why giving her the medication in the morning would have been a problem.The second and worse issue was that my other dog was stressed the ENTIRE three days she was there and NO ONE CALLED. They told me at pickup, The report says Lily didnt do well in boarding, she was really stressed in daycare. Nia did fine. We just ended up keeping them both together in their kennel. My response was, So they didnt play? Well, we take dogs like that out separate at the times the other dogs are up. Well thats cool Im glad they got 15 minutes in a little play area alone, but Im NOT GLAD you let my dog be stressed the entire weekend and never called.The kicker? She was so stressed she had LIQUID DIARRHEA when we got home and it has slowly gotten better over the last 24 hours. Pretty logical conclusion is that she probably had diarrhea the whole time she was there... Yet NO CALL. So she was stressed and ill because of this place, but they wanted their money so they just let her suffer the whole time. Great.Yeah, if you want terrible customer service from people who find their job of caring for your animal an inconvenience, by all means use Dogs Day Out. I will not be putting my dogs in that board facility ever again.

Friendly staff, but sadly I did not like how they groomed my husky when I picked him up he had something brown on his nose and still had hair that needed to brush off. I am sure I did the best they can because I know my Husky is a handful.

The groomer does good work. However , they must have only one groomer, my dogs can never get in. Off Sundays and Mondays and then only has a opening Thursdays? They mustnt like money. Ill be taking my business elsewhere.

Dropped the pups off after driving for 2 1/2 hours in the am. Let the man who took our dogs in that they needed to eat yet. Left their food in a bag on the counter. Upon returning found the bag with the food in it right where we left it. Returned at 4pm ish. The girl at the desk had just got there and didnt know anything about it. Needless to say we werent very happy about it. Also I have not seen my mimi golden doddle so thirsty he drank 2 bowls full. I did like the fact that the pups got to play with other dogs in an open area. Not sure how well staffed they are. This is our 2nd time with them.

EXCELLENT DOG DAY CARE! Shortly after I relocated here from another country, I asked around for the best dog daycare in the DFW area and Dogs Day Out came HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by more than one person. I checked it out and was very impressed. My dog has been going to Dogs Day out for a couple years. The staff treats him as part of the family. They all know his name and greet him as if he were their own dog. Of all the dog daycare places I have taken my dog to in his life in different cities and countries Dogs Day Out stands out as THE BEST. They keep the place VERY CLEAN and care for the well-being of the dogs even better than I could have imagined. Also, they are very accomadating with the special dietary needs of my dogs and have helped assist him with his weight-loss needs by following a vet-recommended diet of adding green beans to his diet. I highly recommend Dogs Day Out to all my friends and family with confidence knowing that they will receive the same level of outstanding service as I have.

I used to take my dog to Pet Smart for grooming and once they finished grooming my dog would be caged, which my dog hates. The first time I took my dog to Dogs Day Out I came to pick her up after getting groomed and she had free range of the whole back area loose. Which my dog absolutely loved. I could tell when i walked in my dog was so much happier not being caged and also get more individual attention without all the retail customers coming in and out like Pet Smart. I have a border collie and i prefer to get buzzed down each time real short bc her hair grows so fast. I have never once had any complaints about their service, i have never once noticed any cuts or scabs from mistreatment. I have been going here for about 3 years I use them about every 3 months. I also like the fact that its the same grooming person or staff each time, so my dog feels more comfortable, rather then someone new each time. I plan to continue using their service as long as i am in the area.

Being a very protective pet owner I was very hesitant to leave my English Bulldog in the hands of anyone but me. I have toured and researched just about every facility in the area, the staff and management at Dogs Day out not only put my worries at ease, they went above and beyond by administering his meds regularly, feeding him his mid day snacks and most importantly making sure his breathing was ok since he is not the most active dog typically THANK YOU SO MUCH

ANTI AKC / BREEDERI Stopped by today to inquire about boarding and take a tour. The clerk on duty very rudely informed me that only sterilized dogs were accepted and my intact pets were not welcome. He made no effort to explain this policy and was quite eager to show that he considered me to be an annoying waste of his valuable time. I suppose this policy could be some sort of political statement, or more likely, it is simply a confession that the dogs are often left unsupervised during playtime. If it were my business I would post any limitations to my capabilities clearly on my website; but, then I would not have the opportunity to be rude to potential clients.There are plenty of good kennels in the area that welcome your pets whether intact or sterilized. IF, however, you desire rude and lazy employees who will not properly supervise your animals, THEN this might be just the place youre looking for.

I brought my dog here when I had to leave town for a weekend on short notice. I had used petsmart for boarding in the past, but the last time my basset spent 2 nights there, she came back very thirsty and the blanket I left with her there came back ...er, soiled. I tried this place after reading good reviews and calling to make sure they had space.The staff at Dogs Day Out was great. They include day camp with boarding, and you can see the play area (with dogs actually in it) from the front. Theyre up-front about the way they run things and genuinely care about the dogs theyre caring for.When I came back to pick her up, she wasnt desperate to leave and didnt empty her water bowl when we got home. She also wasnt filthy, which was nice considering that she didnt get a bath there.This place will be my go-to from now on.

You cannot view webcams of dogs with a mobile phone unless you pay to subscribe to an app called Odoggy.You can view on desktop. No big deal, but just didnt see that mentioned on other reviews. Staff was very friendly, clearly dog people (two dogs were chilling behind desk). Otherwise seems like a nice place, and I felt comfortable dropping my dog decker off.

I dont write many reviews, but on behalf of Sir Rigby (minpin), I felt his voice must be heard. Every morning when I go for his leash or every time he hears the car DING, he automatically goes into Dogs Day Out mode! Not only can I tell he loves it there, I can also tell it allows him to burn off the stored minpin energy that seems to never be on E. Exceptional staff! Incomparable groomers! Dedicated management.

The staff was friendly and they did exactly what I asked done for my new Shih-tzu. Spike got trimmed to 1/2 inch everywhere but tail as requested. Also, I have never brought a shih-tzu home from a groomer in such a good mood. Lol. Usually they are mopey angry.

I love Dogs Day Out! We take our maltese/shih tzu here for all his grooming needs. On the off occasion that we have taken him elsewhere, his haircut always looks haphazard and sloppy. We are always happy with the job that Amy does and the customer service at Dogs Day Out is wonderful. They are always friendly and accommodating, and they are one of the rare places that you can actually call up and get an appointment on the same day. Did I mention that their prices are very comparable to the other grooming joints in the area, but the quality is far exceeds many of our other experiences? Thanks guys, looking forward to our next appointment! :)

What a HORRIBLE experience! We were told one price for dog baths as part of a package, which is what we paid for several months. Then we were told that it was not the correct price and paid a higher price. The next time we called and asked about it and were told the original price. When I went to pick up the dog a woman came up and quite smuggly told me that i was being charged the wrong price. I told her several times that we were quoted that price as part of the package and had been paying it for months. She was so arrogant and smug in her speech towards me. I finally told her that I would prefer to just talk with the other person who was helping me. She then said she was the OWNER. Then I got frustrated!!! Right or wrong price quoted, dont act like it is the customers fault. Train your employees and this kind of thing might not happen. We paid a lot of money for day care and at this point I dont know that we will be using the rest of what we paid for. I dont trust the owner. Not to mention, the baths they give are useless. The dogs smell just as bad when I pick them up as they did when I dropped them off.

I have been taking my schnauzer there for 4yrs and I called today to make an appointment and then I was called back and told they only service dogs that take meds for anxiety on Wednesday and Thursdays. When I asked when the policy changed they said a while ago but my dog was there 4 weeks ago on a Saturday and I was not given any prior notice. Now looking for a new groomer

Would not take my dog here.The dogs are in the play room all by themselves for the majority of the time with no worker in the play yard with them. Thats unsafe to not have any workers in the play yard with the dogs at all times. Wouldnt take a chance taking your fur baby here.
