Seen him for 32 years, since I hadnt seen him in 5 years bc I was having babies and seeing my OBGYN mostly, they archived my file, and said Id have to start a new patient file and hes not seeing new patients. literally seen him since I was a baby. it also didnt help that the lady answering the phone is so rude and condescending.

Dont get listed as my primary care physician when you arent taking new clients ridiculous you sign up for a program you do not want to do. Stop getting them to assign people as there primary care physician. You causing people to do extra steps and jump through hoops just to get medical care. I know you can remove yourself as a primary care provider in the blue cross blue shield system. I see they usually put not accepting new patients and dont get people assigned to them. You all were my primary care physician for over a year the first time I needed to come in and see him you all are not taking new patients. Are you kidding me?!? If a insurance company assigns you a client through a program you signed up for. I think it is the worst possible thing to deny them medical service. I now have a medical condition have to wait until my insurance can get switched to another primary care provider. This practice is literally going to kill people in serious cases... What kind of business does this to anyone...

Hes a terrible person do not go there

I went to make a complaint regarding how I was treated by front desk personnel and had the cops called on me. I wasn’t aggressive or cursing. Out of all my years living I have never had the cops called on me. I was discharged and treated poorly because my dr died from Covid. Rest her soul! I know things would be different if she was around. I was hung up on after complaining because they sent a letter I never received discharging me and set me an appointment after sending the letter for my next visit. I was cursed at, hung up on, disrespected. Treated like trash after being with this run down practice for years! The good Drs that were with the practice have died. BIG MISTAKE TO VISIT THIS PLACE! I will be contacting the medical board. No Drs office should behave like this. I have video recordings and call logs proving what has happened. What a tragedy.

Dr.Beste has been my primary doctor for over 12 years. He listens to what my concerns are and has the best bed side manner! He takes the time to tell me what’s going on with my body and how we can tackle it to beat whatever it may be. I wouldn’t go anywhere else when it comes to my health. I truly think he is the best doctor hands down! The wait time is longer than some but his level of knowledge and the friendly front desk ladies especially Joanna make it all worth it.

I have asthma and tired to make an appointment today due to shortness of breath. Im just trying to switch a medication and the Doctor refused to see me. This is the 3rd time i have been denied service at this location. The lady at the front desk is getting very rude. For the past year and a half my overall opinion of this place is shrewd to say the least. I wish they handled things better. As for now Im no longer a patient here.

Dr. Beste has been my doctor for over 20 years. He is fabulous. He listens so patiently and is so knowledgeable. He NEVER talks down to me or is ever condescending. Hes thorough but doesnt look for things to treat to try and make a buck. My husband and I are moving more than an hour away, but we are keeping him as our doctor. Hes that good.

Yes...he gets busy. Sometimes you have to wait....but you will NEVER find a doc who cares more....or will listen to your concerns. He even cares on his off hours.

I have been a patient at this office since 1965 the year that I was born. I have seen Dr.Schlegal, Dr. Damon and now Dr. Beste. Even though I no longer live in Lewisville, I live a little more than an hour away, I prefer not go to see anyone else and only have when Dr. Beste has been on vacation.The front office staff changes more often now than in earlier times, but Dr. Beste’s Nurses stay a very long time. There have been good and bad receptionists. Right now everyone performs their job well and is friendly to boot.Dr. Beste spends a good amount of time with his patients and I feel he truly listens to my concerns. He has an open and friendly manner and lots of energy which makes him seem younger than his age, but he has the wisdom of a long time doctor.

Staff and doctors are fantastic and take great care of the patients, Ive been going here for many years, older office but I have no complaints

After a rocky start to my appointment, a nice consultation with the Doctor who listens better than most and provides helpful information. Then as I was leaving after my first visit I was advised me that as a new patient I was charged an additional $150.00 in addition to $25 copay as a New Patient Fee. No Prescriptions provided. Needed to go back and ask for them twice in order to get them. Supposed to go back in three weeks. Good follow-up by June on my prescriptions a couple of days after the appointment.

Dr Beste has been our doctor for many years and he is the best, most caring doctor in Lewisville. He listens, is caring about your condition,and has no problem referring you if he feels that it is needed. His office is clean and the reviews about financial problems with the office makesme think that the reviewers do not understand their Insurance coverage.We have never had any problems with his office policies.

Dr. Beste has been my doctor for Years and is by far the best doctor I have ever had! I am shocked to see any negative remarks; if you have insurance make sure to check when you schedule your appointment so there are no surprises. He is very patient and takes the time to listen to everything you have to say. When I moved my 80 some year old mother in with me she was super impressed with him and loved him as well. Even though I have since moved from Lewisville I continue to make an over hour long drive because I flat out refuse to find another doctor. His offices and waiting rooms are always spotless with vintage decorating. Now that he has a partner in the office with him, appointments are much easier to get.

Would never go to a doctor who has a giant political sign in the yard. Keep your politics out of medicine.

My wife called and set up an appt. for me with Dr. Beste for a physical and to look at my shoulder because i had pain when I lifted objects a certain way. A woman called me the day before my appt. (A week and half after it was scheduled) to tell me Dr. Beste was looking at his schedule and wouldnt see me because he doesnt do physicals on new patients and doesnt do pain management. I asked What does he do for new patients? She repeated what he would NOT do for new patients. I again asked her Well what does he do for new patients? She replied with a raised voice and stated that I was being rude and that it wasnt going to change what the doctor could do for me. I told her I was just trying to find out if there was anything the doctor COULD do for me so i knew in the future whether or not to make an appt. for another issue or to look for another doctor completely. She continued to be loud and try to talk over me while i was trying to ask a questions so I just hung up the phone. I called on a referral from a long time friend. I let them know what happened, hopefully they dont get treated that way. I would avoid this doctor just to not have to deal with the poor customer service and ill-trained office staff. Hope this helps save someone some hassle.

Upon your first visit at Dr. Bestes office you are told you have to pay $150 out of pocket regardless of your insurance plan and you would be reimbursed once your insurance payment is received. Well be aware this is a lie. They charged my insurance $195 of which my insurance paid $115 and apparently Dr. Beste was going to keep the rest from my $150. Its been almost a year since my visit, I have called multiple times and I have yet to see a penny. Not to mention the office is dirty and run down. Dr. Beste was nice but that was the only positive thing from that experience I can recall.

Came here with a friend to get his Pilot First Class Medical Cerficate and discovered that this doctor charges more than double other AMEs. My friend had no choice because he needed it ASAP so he paid this ridiculous high price (this is excluding EKG as well...).Warning to pilots looking to get a medical from this place! Please look elsewhere and save your money!

Even if you have insurance you have to pay $150. He also limits the patients he sees with certain conditions. Ridiculous.

We have had the privilege of having Dr, Beste as our Family Doctor since 1995. He is the best Dr, in the world !
