Jose Wong hooked me (and my fade) up a few hours before my date Saturday afternoon and absolutely knocked it out of the park.Great conversation/banter with the rest of the staff while I was getting my fade fixed.12/10 will be back in 3 weeks for my next haircut.

Great overall place. Comfortable ambience with precise, detail-oriented haircuts. The stylists put effort with a passion into helping the customer look their best. Perfect place for grooming and get your look right. Much recommended!

Since landing in TX from Chicago I have been a frequent customer of Rays barbershop. My barber Jose Chow keeps my so fresh and so clean. The conversation is is always entertaining and informative. The staff is friendly and in good spirits every time I go.They have a sign to alert walk ins there will be a wait and no profanity in this establishment. The barbers there cut the hair of all race and culture. This is a safe place to get a cut and fellowship with friends.

Ive been getting my hair cut @ Rays for 20 years, from its original location to its current. First cut by Mr. Ray himself to being cut by Mr. Jose Chow for the last 18. Rays exudes excellence in the Salon World. I use to where braids Id come in get a wash and braids then move over to the barbers and get a fade and edge up to go with braids. I bring my son with me to Rays customer service is A1, even on the weeks I would get my hair cut twice. Great environment for customers of all ages and all races blacks, whites, Latinos and whom ever needs service. Thank you Rays Barber & Beauty for the excellent service keep up the good work. This place is great! They always do an outstanding cut and the banter between barbers is (unintentionally) hilarious and wholesome.

Go see Jose! My husband and I are beyond picky about his hair. Its extremely difficult to cut. When his Barber retired, we panicked until we heard about Jose on Facebook where other ladies sung his praises about how he keeps their men looking sharp too. My hubby even says hes personable and enjoys the conversation.

Just moved here and took a chance on a new to me Barber. They were slammed on a Saturday but Sean was able squeeze me in for a hands down best bald fade Ive had.. His beard trimming game is on point.. Definitely gonna be a regular here

Best place in the lew to get done up. Courtesy respectful and great atmosphere! I personally go to Mr. Jose the fade king, but you most definitely wont go wrong using any Barber or stylist in there. A++++

Been going here since High School. Great family atmosphere, always on time, and consistent. Jose is the best in lewisville hands down. Very detail oriented and takes time with hair cut. Doesn’t rush and try and get you in and out.

Rays Barber shop is one of the best in all of DFW, and by far the best in Lewisville, and Ive lived here for 30yrs and tried many different barbers, and shops around town. With that said, sometimes you might have to wait especially on the busiest days like Friday and Saturday. This is why appointments are preferred but walk ins are still welcome. They will honor youre appointment time, no problem. Jose is a professional and the best to cut my hair ever and Im a white guy! Scissor cut, fade, beard trim, whatever I ask he can do it. RACE DOESNT MATTER AT THIS PLACE. I havent had any of the barbers here turn me down from a cut, so whoever posted such is not speaking the truth. I would recommend Rays Barber shop to anybody regardless of race or gender.

Had my hair down my back a couple months ago and finally decided to part ways with it. The guys at rays are super friendly and always seem to be busy. They have hairdressers for the ladies as well. If you want a professional cut done check out rays.

I’ve been going to Ray’s for 20+ years! Leamon cut my hair for the longest time, then I switched to Jose! I can’t think of a better group of barbers than Leamon, Jose, and Sean! The guys are always welcoming and do a tremendous job cutting hair. They cut all different types of hair. I refer my friends and anybody who asks where I get my hair cut.

So sad Ive came to this place 3 times only because its close to home. Each time without a doubt i get bad service. I know it has to be because of my race im white. This time i sat there waiting on a spot to get my haircut to be turned away. I mean if they was so booked shouldnt i have been told from the beginning. On top of that i heard the barber say he didnt want to cut my hair. If you want business color shouldnt matter.And i was trying to rate the place with no stars but unfortunately i have to rate you.

Nobody wanted to greet you ask what you want. For a hair cut not professional called in because I was new didnt know anybody took over 45 mins to cut your hair and I would not come back because Im paying you money to make me look good with a straight line up and talking about things that should not be talked about in front of customers

Funny barbers and great atmosphere, Jose did a great job on my hair and trimmed my beard in a way I didnt know could be trimmed haha. Great experience, definitely coming back.

I have been going to Rays for over 20 years. There is know better place in the metroplex to get your hair cut at and have great conversation.

Great barber shop with a nice environment. Jose is one of the best barbers Ive met, he is a pro with scissors too, which is uncommon from the barbers Ive been to.

The wait time was excessive. The barber did an OK job. He missed the mark on what I wanted but by the time I caught it was too late to say anything. The shop talk was fun as all get out. The only reason I didnt give it one star. Make an appointment.

Ive been going here since I was 8. This is the only place I trust to cut my hair. If I travel away from the state, which I do from time to time, I cut my own hair. However, if Im in Dallas I go here. For the guy who wrote the only negative review, call ahead and set an appointment. Ive never had issues with that.

Rays barber shop home of the exquisite conversations and custom service. I been getting my haircut their for bout 6 years and never been mistreated much love to those guys..Big ups to my man Jose for disliking the Dallas Cowboys as much as I do!!!
