Editing this post because my husband has now been living at Arbor House for over 6 months. I could not be happier with his care. The care partners are always kind and incredibly patient with both of us (I visit almost everyday) as well as with all of the others living there. The Director is on top of whatever needs to be done including stepping in to provide direct care for the people who live there. This is one of the main reasons her staff show so much care. Any concerns I have raised have been met with understanding and finding ways to make positive adjustments. Everyone living at Arbor House is treated as an individual who has his or her own personal wants and needs._____________Original post below_____A couple of months ago my husband began doing day-stay 2-4 days per week at Arbor House and I have been quite impressed by all of the staff. Everyone greets him by name when he arrives and when he leaves which really helps him feel welcomed. Sometimes when I arrive in the afternoon to pick him up he points to a nearby chair wanting me to stay for the activity in progress. I consider this a huge plus that shows me he’s enjoying himself. (Of course I stay for a while!)We recently had to have our shower rebuilt and for over 2 weeks we didnt have a suitable shower for him to use. The Executive Director at Arbor House willingly offered to arrange for him to have showers when he was there and the staff always seemed cheerful to help out. I have no idea what we would have done with out this “above and beyond” help over the past 3 weeks! Because of the quality staffing, Arbor House will be high in my list should we need respite or full memory care services.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Arbor House. My dad had the best care imaginable, and the cost was very fair compared to other homes. The environment was bright and clean. The caregivers were amazing. The layout of the building is great. They REALLY know their stuff--we had a terrible experience with another place prior to moving him here. It really makes a difference to have a facility that understands memory care!! THANK YOU, Arbor House!!!

Amazing, loving place. Since they changed administration, its a great place where you can take your loved one and be sure they theyre safe and happy. Before they changed the administration, it was awful to try to go through the process, but now its really profesional and compassionate. We love Rockbrook.

Five star facility thats built with memory care residents in mind. Wonderful staff that loves their jobs and is highly educated on what they do. We recommend Arbor House to anyone looking for Assisted living or memory care related needs.

After taking care of my mom for more than a year I felt like I was at the end of the rope and I hated the idea of putting her in an assisted living facility. Arbor House has made the transition so much easier than I ever imagined. Such a wonderful resource for Lewisville. Thank you Arbor House.

We’re so thankful for the people at Arbor House. Memory care is hard to deal with and our family was at the end of the rope after my mother in-law developed Alzheimers and moved in with us. The Lewisville location is just a few miles from my wife’s work in Carrollton allowing them to still spend a good deal of time together. We live in Flower Mound so it’s still really close. We’re thankful to have our nights back, well really just the sleep, and are so thankful that Mee-ma is getting the care she deserves. We’re thankful for this blessing to our family and encourage anyone looking for a place for their loved ones to look no further than Arbor House.
