Attending this school has saved my life. It gave me purpose. The program showed me that I’m much stronger than I thought!I graduated in February 2021 from the x-ray technologist program. The faculty is amazing and very motivating. Many times I felt like the work was too hard, but I didn’t give up, and the teachers (especially Abe) really helped to keep me focused on my goals. So many doors have opened up for me since I graduated from the program. What’s even better is that the school helps you find a job! I graduated from NCC and John Jay prior to attending this school, and neither one of those institutions helped me get a job. In addition, the teachers at the other universities were not nearly as helpful and attentive compared to the teachers at Hunter business school. If it wasn’t for this program and all the amazing things it offers, I truly do not know where I would be today! I am eternally grateful for this school and their programs. Looking back, I have nothing but positive memories here. It was a wonderful learning experience! Abe is the best teacher ever. He’s very down to earth and engages with the students in such a way that it makes class more fun and it makes material easier to learn. 5 stars!!!

In order to apply you have to pass then entrance HESI exam with a 75 or higher and I unfortunately was 1 point shy and received a grade of 74. However, Jada Williams from the Rad Tech department really helped me out to get an interview with the director and to apply. I just found out I was accepted into a different program that I previously applied to and that begins sooner so I accepted entrance into that program. However, Jada didnt have to go out of her way to help me and she did. I appreciate everything she did for me and would of loved to attend this program. They have really good people working here and anyone would be lucky to go to this program!! Thanks again Jada!!!!

I truly loved my experience at Hunter Business School in the Radiologic Technology program. It was hands down the best decision I ever made. Mr. Abe and Ms. Aggie do everything they can to provide extra help, even more so now through this difficult time through the pandemic. Great school. Graduated with a 4.0. They kept their promise with an externship of challenge. Some of my classmates got offered the job including myself. The teachers are awesome. I had a great expierence in Hunter Business Schools Rad Tech Program. The instructors are all amazing and really care for every one of their students individually and their future success. They take the extra step and provide any help needed with job placement after graduation. I was hired as a tech within a month of graduation and I have Hunter to thank :)

If I could give this school a negative 10 I would. The nursing director for the LPN program is the appsalute worse. She doesnt answer your questions and if you call her out on it, she would say youre being combative. The laptop that the school gave did not work and if you tried to tell them about it, they will do nothing. There is a test or quiz  3 days out of the week without them teaching you anything. Because of covid,  we had to take our test online and the teacher made us feel we were cheating so they would make us face a certain way to look into the camera. This school is not professional at all and only want to to deal with students that doesnt ask questions  and do as they say. I would not recommend no one go to this school if you want to really learn. You will waste your time and money.

If you’re interested in their Lpn program, good luck! There is only ONE person in the admissions dept. and her name is Jada Williams. She rarely answers emails and doesn’t do a good job with following up . I asked her a question in regards to the program and and still have not heard back from her in over a week. This has become an annoyance and have decided to look elsewhere.Updated review: In response to Bridget Headley, Director of Admissions at the Levittown campus who commented . Don’t comment on a Google review to make it seem as if you actually care. When I couldn’t get in touch with Jada I spoke to you personally and you said Jada went on vacation the day after I took my Teas exam but would be able to help me and that you’d call me back AND YOU NEVER DID! You’re just as bad as Jada maybe worst since you’re the director and couldn’t direct yourself to picking up the phone and calling me. $170 for a teas exam that no one can follow up with me on!! I took it at another school and paid $110! Shame on this school !

Highly recommended! I enrolled in the medical billing program. I throughly enjoyed my experience! Everyone is professional & communicative. Teachers are interactive, funny, knowledgeable & honest. They want you to ask questions. If they dont have the answer theyll get it. Class was cool, structured, usually went smoothly. Worth the tuition. Gave me what I needed to move into a new career. Also helped with NCCT certification exam info & location. Career services is helpful & encouraging.

Attending Hunter business school was a blessing in disguise. I was confused about which carter path I was gonna take, had just left mylong time position as a retail manager. When I figured out that I needed change I sought schooling, and it fell right in line. They made it ever so easy to enroll and Im so happy I did it. It was a six month program for medical office administration and after graduation; They got me an interview at a prestigious ophthalmologist practice, where I’m training to become an office manager. Thank you Hunter for my new lease on life..

Had an awesome experience in Hunter Business School, my instructors were great!

While taking the TEAS exam, I came across some difficulties before and during the test. I immediately called Jada, the lpn admin who told me to contact ATI. I spoke to ATI at least 3x’s during the exam and was told to clear out my internet browser’s cookies, that i had to click on a box to allow my computer to give ATI access to both my screen and microphone , when i called about my test ending when i clicked on the ATI calculator and then lastly while taking the exam when i clicked to go the next question it just showed that the page was loading and that the time clock was still going. I clicked on the flag, and even waved to the screen to notify whoever was watching and did not get help. I contacted Jada who did not answer my call so I called ATI AGAIN to let them know. The woman i spoke to let me know that the proctor was unavailable and that it was an unknown issue and to give it a few minutes but to email the school to let them know. I emailed Jada who emailed me back to tell me to keep refreshing the page. After a few minutes, i was able to continue my exam but unfortunately was not able to get back the time lost. As a result , was unable to finish the exam because time ran out. I contacted ATI and the rep. told my that the exam had ended and that she sees that i had some issues throughout the exam and to contact the school if i could have more time to finish it tomorrow. I emailed Jada to let her know and she did not respond . I called the school and left her messages and still no call or email back. I called the following day and the receptionist said she’s on vacation but that she can have Jada’s manager call me back and she did never did! I called the next week and was told by the receptionist that “they’re all in a meeting but will tell Jada that I’m eagerly waiting for her call” smh Jada called me back a few hours later and I explained what happened and she answered “Wow, I’ve never heard of such a thing as needing more time. I’ll have to get in contact with ATI and will give you a call back on a few days. Two weeks later and I still have not heard from her . The test is a little over a hundred dollars and I feel like it went to waste simply because someone can’t pick up their phone and give someone a call like they said they would.

I really enjoyed my time at Hunter Business School and I am so grateful to them for helping me get started with my career. I would recommend them any day to anybody.

Hunter has changed my life. I got hired by the department of education a month after my graduation. And they my knowledge was so brilliant on IT I got promoted two weeks later. Going to Hunter Business School was the best decision I ever made. I was a student during the daytime. As courtesy the school gave me the opportunity to take a refresher course for the NCCT exam for the certification. While I was taking the daytime classes I hear excellent thing about Dr. Bains her knowledge and expertise for the course I was taking was second to none. She was helpful and understating of the various needs of her students. She takes the extra steps for her students to understand the course. For that I am very thankful to have her as my instructor. When I signed up to go to Hunter Business School I did not think I would fall in love with the place. Each and every department show so much care and attention. They make themselves available for me as a student. I spent 15 months learning to become a Computer Technician and Network Specialist and one thing I can tell you is those 15 months were amazing. I graduated from hunter in 2020. I was in medical billing and coding class. Foe everyone i would recommend DR.Bains. she is the best teacher She is super smart and professional. One of the best decisions I made in my life is to decide to attend Hunter Business School as a student in the Medical Business Administration program. It has provided me the knowledge of the healthcare business but most importantly it has provided me the knowledge, strength and determination of well being, power of education, empathy to all and analogies in understanding how ones emotional and physical wellness is interrelated. Dr. Katherine Bain, one of my favorite instructors was GREAT! and she explained and answered any questions anytime and provided analogies to understand all types of medical ailments, how the industry is dependent on insurance companies and how to understand the financials. She is strong, but flexible and very understanding. Mrs. K and Mr. S pushed me to a level that I did not know I was capable of, I am very grateful. I respect all your dedication and I hope to make a difference in my family, community and the world as you have made a difference for me. The best decision I made for myself. All the staff at Hunter was wonderful and professional. They stay in contact with you and see you through all the way. Not only did I graduate from the Medical Billing program with my NCCT certificate I was able to obtain my CPC certificate 6 months after I finished with Hunter. Dr. Bains gave me all the necessary information I needed to get ahead. She didnt just teach the lessons she literally set my future up! Have no doubt, Hunter is where you need to be!

Going to Hunter Business School was an amazing experience. One of my favorite teachers was Dr. Bains. She was the most helpful whether it was staying late for extra help or a quick uplifting talk in the hall in between class. She honestly cares so much for her students, I have never met a teacher like her before. Very good school. I had a great experience with the teachers and staff. Friendly and they all want to see you succeed. It was also a great pick for me because it was not to far from my previous job and not to far from home, the commute isn’t bad. The program goes by quickly so when applying don’t stress how long each program may be. Overall a great experience !

My Hunter experience was amazing. I was enrolled in the Medical Office Administration program and it was the best school experience Ive had. The instructors were absolute sweethearts and worked with me if I needed any help. I still go back and visit because of how much I love it and I would recommend this school to anyone. My experience here at hunter was more than my last experience because Ive learned more in this time and even the staff was the same most of the it seems like to me they gave more of themselves to me as well other students as well I love the fact that they care so much and push you to go to the highest. another thing no matter what the situation may be for you or you may encounter here they go above and beyond to get you through I Arleen am very grateful for all the staff here at hunter plus the fact that even when your done here with school they keep a check on you on the outside of school to make sure that everything is going well with you and if not the door is open for you to get the help you need I have even sent people to the school and they are happy here and some have also graduated plus went on to working. Hunter Business School is one of the best school that I have attended and before coming here I went to two other school and Hunter is the Best in my book, all the teacher and staff again go above and beyond for the students and they will work with you to help you out with you scheduling if needed to make sure you can attend all classes if you come here and your working and want to change your careers by coming to the school. Hunter Business School is in a great location for Nassau County because its right on the bus line for those of us that dont have a car to get to school in either direction the bus in right in front of the school that is great too. Again Hunter Business is an awesome educational facility, I would come again for more education in the future if i decided to go back to school. most importantly you can come into the school to use the computers if you dont own one and do all work needed to be done and more, even if you have one like me and it not in good operation you can have it worked on here and thats a beautiful thing. I love the fact that you have access to books in the library which is open to your needs at all times. The night glasses accommodated me besides the day schedule that I had as well. Also meeting my classmates and learning together, and becoming friends here brought new positive people into my life and that was and is a blessing too. I went to Hunter for their MA program and it was the best decision I couldve made for myself! The instructors are all so kind and helpful. You are able to learn so much in just a few months. Katherine Bains is my Billing & Coding instructor and has been the best instructor I could have asked for. She’s a fast talker, but only because she is trying to make the most of our time here. She has gone beyond what is required of her to make sure that I was prepared for the certification exam. She gives so much of her time, always making herself available during off hours and on weekends to answer any questions I might have. Although, I have now passed my certification exam she continues to give instruction and advice on how to proceed in the medical billing industry and be successful. I am very grateful she is a part of the Hunter staff.

I went to Hunter Business School for the evening Billing and Coding Specialist program. It was the best decision I could have made. I had Dr. Bains and she was the amazing at preparing me (the class) to sit for the certification exam; which happen to be scheduled for 3 days after the program ended. She made sure we were all relaxed and confident in taking the exam. Sure there were nerves but I never felt more confident in taking a timed exam before. I highly recommend this program (or any other one they offer).

I went to school at hunter business school at Levittown, I really recommend people to go there because there are great programs and they have wonderful teachers that care for student and they are really good listeners and they will help you with anything you need. Enrolling At Hunter was a big decision, and I didnt know if I was making the right choice. But as soon as I got there I have not regretted that decision. Mostly because of the instructors, they have a great staff like Dr. Bains. She made me feel welcomed since day one, she will always go the extra step to make sure the students have what they need. Or M.r Fetter and Mr. Sheridan a sponge couldnt absorb all the knowledge they have. I recommend this school if you are thinking about it.

The best decision I have made in regards to continuing my education. From Nick in admissions to my last teacher Dr. Bain’s, my experience at Hunter was much more than I expected. I looked forward to coming each and everyday. I learned so much in such a short amount of time, and my teachers were absolutely amazing. Mrs. Montesano is incredibly knowledgeable and professional and I enjoyed her class each time I had her. She is a favorite.. Mr Santos has a way of making his lessons stay with you so that you know you’re going to do well in his class. We were extremely lucky to have him. Mr. Cine so incredibly professional and thoroughly knowledgeable in his field, he makes it look easy and we were grateful. Victor and Mrs. Falco both awesome, I enjoyed their classes. Mrs. K is very down to earth, has a great personality and makes you feel comfortable in her class. Dr. Bains and Dr. Asif, two medical doctors that take their time to give back the gift of their knowledge and share it with us. I was way out of my comfort zone in a few of my classes but the teachers and my classmates made it so much easier and I am truly going to miss them. If you’re considering Hunter, do it. Enrolled in Hunter Business School for medical billing with Dr Baines. She is by far one of the best professors Ive ever had in my life. She explains the material in a relatable way, and doesnt move on until students really understand things. She goes out of her way to help students, class created a group chat and she always responded, weekends, nights, holidays, and on vacation. She was able to easily make dry material (insurance) interesting because she is funny. She has several tricks/stories which helped us remember information more easily. This was the best decision i made to attend Hunter Business School, and i owe that to Dr. Baines. She is an amazing person that cared about us and definitely a great lecturer!

I am a graduate from Hunter Business School Nursing program. Hunter trained me to become a qualified and specialized nurse, with my aim of learning to develop observation skills and sensitivity to my patients need. The program professors were excellent and really prepared their students for the NCLEX exam. With that being said it wasnt a surprise to me when i passed the exam on the first try. I would recommend Hunter Business Schools Nursing program to anyone because at Hunter they give their students the right tools and guidance to step out into the nursing field.

My Hunter experience was wonderful. When I was a student back in 2012-2013 all my teachers at the time were wonderful. However my review experience with medical terminology. Billing this time around has been great. Dr. Baines is a wonderful teacher. Her teaching techniques really helped her students understand the material and lets them overcome their difficulties. I have learned and by far grown with the class in knowledge. When I first came in November 2017 up to now, I gained knowledge that I didnt have in preparation for my test. I feel she deserves recognition in being a great teacher, respectful, and a cheerful human being making the class a pleasure to attend.

My learning experience at Hunter was excellent! I had wonderful and professional instructors who prepared me well in my field of study. Career Development and Services did a super job of placing me in my current position, at which I am very happy! I would highly recommend Hunter to others!

I graduated Hunter Business school in 2014 as a medical billing and coding specialist. I hate to say but to this day I was never able to find a job in this field and I’m very disappointed. They helped me find a job BUT as a customer service rep. Any medical billing positions I applied for never called me or told me the certificate is not from an accredited program so they werent able to hire me. The program costs $3,000 it was a waste of time and money!! I wish I would’ve done my research and enrolled into a program that’s accredited by the AHIMA or AAPC. Also, every year you have to pay to recertify (waste of money!) DO NOT APPLY TO THIS SCHOOL!!!!!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Do your research before you apply to any program here!

OMG ... This was an amazing school, I was not under the impression that a school could make a difficult in such a short period of time. Let me tell you there are so many wonderful people/teachers here. DR. BAINS has change and views on life while teaching A&P 2, EMR and billing and coding. WOW this woman is truly built from a different cloth, Im so grateful to have had her as a teacher. Mr. Santos will take the time out to teach you anything you need/want to know. Victor was able to help create a bond for me with my classmates but also with Hunter. INSIDE JOKE - Question: How do you address a doctor? Answer: Whats Up Homie ... LOL. I cant forget the BEST Computer teacher Ms. Kurman, she has patience of a saint. Once you have one class with her you will check and recheck your work because she makes you want to produce the best work possible. Thank you to all the wonderful people I came in contact with here.

I had an exceptional experience at Hunter Business School. My teachers were amazing. Especially Dr. Bains! Billing and Coding was a complex course but she made it fun and exciting. Dr. Bains provided numerous study materials to make sure we learned and passed the course. I got to know Dr. Bains on a personal level as well. She is a fantastic human being with a huge heart. One thing she said that resonates with me is that we all cross paths for a reason and we continue our journey with the people that come across our path. I am truly going to miss Dr. Bains!Ms. Kruman is a knowledgeable and patient teacher. Shes sweet and kind. I was happy to have her the entire 5 months I was here. Ive learned so much from her that I can apply to real life office work!Victor Chirrel sounds like the clear eye for the dry eye Visine guy but what a fabulous teacher he is! I had so much fun in his class playing Kahoot. We were playing and learning at the same time and I used Quizlet for all my courses. Good times!Last but not least, Mr. Santos. He comes off as a drill sergeant but what an amazing and humble man! I will take all the medical terminology I learned to the workforce. Mr. S. told us on the first day of class that hes not our friend. That was a lie! He became friends with our class and actually liked us! Hey, Mr. S., $5 please!!!

Where do I begin? Coming to Hunter was without a doubt one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. But it was also the most fulfilling. I don’t think I’ll be leaving here the same girl that walked in here back in January.When I met with my admissions rep, Dana, I knew what I wanted and I knew where I was going to end up but I certainly didn’t know what to expect. She immediately made me feel welcome and comfortable. She made sure I had the means to come here and a good foundation and support system before even enrolling me which I truly appreciated. Dana always told me that if I ever had a problem with a student or teacher and I didn’t know who to go to that her door was always open and she did not disappoint. She is by far one of the most supportive and understanding individuals working at Hunter. I am incredibly lucky to have her in my corner. She is also in charge of Student Council at Hunter which I ended up joining. Joining student council gave me a place at Hunter. It made me fell helpful and appreciated. Kristen and Dana are a great team and they will be very missed.The teachers I’ve had while attending Hunter have been nothing short of supportive, knowledgeable and inspiring. Dr. Asif, whom I had for Anatomy and Physiology I, is one of the smartest people I’ve ever met and has taught me so much. I don’t think he realizes how much of an impact he’s had on me and other students. Mrs. Montesanto and Victor were the perfect pair for our opening act. They make you feel welcome and comfortable in your first month here at Hunter. However, they never sugar coat anything and set up a good foundation for the rest of your time at Hunter. Mr. Cine is the most warm and bubbliest human being I’ve come across in a while. Both fun and helpful, he makes the most boring of classes (almost) bareable. The two teachers who shine brightest in my life are Mrs. Evans and Dr. Reza. I had them both at the most difficult time for me at Hunter and I have to say, I only made it this far because of them. Mrs. Evans is truly the most amazing human being I’ve ever met. She is more than welcoming, knowledgeable, answers every question and is the type Medical Assistant and human being I aspire to be. She made me feel worthy and intelligent on even my worst days. Hunter is lucky to have her. Dr. Reza is one of a kind. My time with him was unforgettable. He pushed me to always do better than I thought I could. He can see anyone’s potential and hard work. He will never let you settle for less. Extremely intelligent, caring and motivational is the best way to describe Dr. Reza. He does not disappoint.My time at Hunter was unforgettable. From admissions, to the instructors, to career services. They all want the best for you and from you. If you respect and appreciate your time at Hunter I promise it will not be wasted. From a failing student at Nassau Community College to a straight A student at Hunter. I couldn’t have imagined I’d end up here but I’m sure glad I did. As I embark on my Externship next week I definitely feel nervous but I feel prepared thanks to all who helped me on my journey at Hunter.

I am a week away from going out on externship. I would highly recommend Hunter Business School to anyone and everyone. I was never a good student in the passed but Hunter helped me find a drive I didn’t even know I had for myself. I was lucky enough to find my passion and with the help/push from the amazing teachers here I have excelled beyond what I thought was possible for myself. Dana from admissions/student council from day one was pushing me to start something better for myself. She was able to explain everything to me in detail before I even enrolled. I then ended up joining student council which she was in charge of. She’s been so supportive of me and my decisions. Her office door was always open and her ears were always open to listen to whatever I had to say.Mrs M (pharmacology/medical asepsis and minor surgery) and Victor (communications) I had my first mod of classes and I think they were a great blend to start and get into the program. I was lucky enough to have Dr Reza as my teacher for anatomy and physiology 2, urinalysis, and EKG. Dr Reza has believed in me and pushed me to realize I’m capable of a lot more than I thought I was. I have learned so much in his classes and he’s helped me realize what I do and don’t want to specialize in in my future. I love to pick his brain and learn from him. I also had Mrs. Evans for phlebotomy 1 & 2, as well as Clinical Skills(Vitals). She helped me overcome my fear in venipuncture and she made it one of my favorite things to perform now. She was incredibly supportive during lab and believed in me every step of the way even when I didn’t believe in myself. Her classes were always something I looked forward to in my day and will be a big reason I miss going to class everyday. I know I will always be able to count on my teachers even after I graduate and I believe that is something very difficult to find. Thank you Hunter!!!!

I had the chance to experience Hunter Business School &’ I loved the amazing teachers and staff. I had the chance to have Dr. Asif, Dr. Bains, Mrs.Montesanto &’ Mr. Cinè. I had Dr. Asif for anatomy & physiology 1. This class was hard in my opinion however Dr. Asif made me understand the material on level I never thought I could. He is one of the best teachers; always answering all my questions & even volunteered to help me in other class that I struggled in even though he wasn’t my teacher!! Dr.Bains Was my teacher for had anatomy &’ physiology 2 & computerized billing. She was so much fun and doesn’t make you feel like you’re in a classroom. Her class was exciting & worth coming to school for ( just don’t hug her she doesn’t like that 😒). She has a personality that shines bright like the sun and she can put a smile on your face no matter how you feel. Mrs. Montesanto I had for asepsis and assisting with minor surgery, Pharmacology and phlebotomy 1. She was my biggest supporter there no matter what my problem was even if it was test anxiety. She had my back and was there to reassure me that I could do this when I wanted to quit. She never gave up on me & she always checked on me in addition to being a great teacher. Mr. Cinè was my teacher for keyboarding and EMR. He is one of my favorite teachers and he really loves his job even if he teaches the boring stuff lol. He has a great personality which makes him a great person & teacher he is so easy to talk to & fun to joke with. He’s my favorite person to see every day (just don’t tell him that ) & “ he thinks he has style” lol 😂. I can’t forget Amber, she is the sunshine that I look for everyday with her lovely personality. Even though she is not a teacher, she does a great job of helping with anything that you ask of her. She’s great at her job & even better at talking you out of leaving 😂. I just want to say I loved my time at Hunter &’ I am going to miss them. If you have the chance to go, don’t think about it twice you’ll be missing out on a great opportunity!

Good school, had my ups and downs but haha, student debt is gonna get me one day! Dr Bains believed in me when no one else did and taught me to love myself. Her knowledge is very very impressive and appreciated, she’s a very intelligent women. She not only teaches but she learns to build a relation with her students as well. She is understanding, compassionate, smart and kind, great combination.

I️ Love HBS . This was by far the best decision I️ made this year . I️ looked into this school and procrastinated for years . But with the help of Mark, I️ was finally able to attend and experience this wonderful journey . With student council doing donations to charities and programs they have going on , the friends I’ve made in and out of class and the Staff are truly amazing . Especially Dr. Baines . She’s by far one of the best teacher I’ve ever had . She is also one of the reason why I️ attend class every night . She’s more then just a teacher ! She has such a big heart for you as a student and as a person . I️ recommend Hunter to all of my friends. And if your reading this review, I️ recommend attending Hunter to you too . There’s no other option . 🤷🏽‍♀️

I feel hunters LPN program is one of the smaller programs on the island so they are able to be more personable and truely care about their students (similar to a mom and pop shop vs a chain store) . They are willing to work with students to make sure the material is understood both after school hours and via email. Knowing other people that went to boces for their LPN I feel I made a very good decision by choosing Hunter. I would like to remind people that in life personalities may conflict and spending everyday for months together (not just the nursing program, all programs) may be a lot for some people. But its life. learn how to shut it, and just smile and nod.

Hunter Business School is great, all the staff members and teachers are very helpful. Specially Dr Bains she is remarkably understanding who always put her students first, her availability to answer questions has been immensely helpful, being her student has been very rewarding learning experience.

Dr. Bains is one of the best teachers I love her she makes the course work so easy to understand and breaks it down to where we remember it she is amazing and an awesome teacher she’s so fun to be around and makes the class fun.

Dr. Bains was an amazing help during my time at Hunter Business School. Taking her class made me feel super prepared for the NCCT licensing exam, that I PASSED! I had a great time at Hunter Business School. The staff are all very helpful and understanding. My professors were outstanding and are there for their students, to stay on track with school. Dr. Baines , Mr. Santos, and Mrs. Montesanto all provide hands on help that helps you better understand the material your working on. Dr. Baines is a very energetic charismatic person who I enjoyed as a teacher (just dont hug her, if you do also bring her a bottle of hand sanitizer, or she will Panic)!!. Mrs. Montesanto is tough with work but also the most lovable person. Mr. Santos is a vey competitive teacher when it comes to class but very heartwarming inside. He made me want to go an extra mile to make sure I pass all of my test and have all of my work in on time.Hunter business school is an amazing school and I feel that the professors made a major impact on my education. The students Ive met in the beginning of my journey have become my family. I do recommend anyone to receive their Certification at Hunter Business School.

Overall Hunter Business School was an amazing experience. I had Dr.Bains as my professor for Medical Billing & Coding and I am so thankful for her. Currently enrolled in HBS and I don’t regret joining. A great school and the teachers are helpful especially Dr. Reza and Ms. Evans. Ms. Evans been such a great help and she is a great teacher!!

Im almost at the end of my classes for Medical Billing and Coding (in 2 days) and the school really got me ready for the test. We took the NCCT certification test Monday and everyone who took it did great. My professor, Dr. Bains did a wonderful job teaching us all aspects of the program, took her time to give us tips on shortcuts, how to remember programming and helped us get ready for the test. She gave us quizzes that helped us with our accuracy on using the book, helped us set up our books to make it faster to look codes up, and gave us examples to practice as a real life situation. I highly recommend the school, this program, and if you are lucky, Dr. Bains for a teacher.

Very thankful for the great experience I had at hunters medical assistant program. All the professors are extremely helpful and only want their student to succeed. But thats not all. Hunters job placement was heaven sent in my case. Both Jennifer and Rebecca helped me find a physician office that tailored to my personality as a medical assistant. If youre looking to better your life do yourself a favor and talk to Mike in admissions (He likes the ny mets but thats ok lol ). He truly was there for me throughout the entire proccess. Successful people always find a way to get things done THANK YOU MIKE you were 100% right!

Dr. Bains is my billing and coding teacher and if she wasn’t my instructor I would not have made it through the module. She was able to keep my interest in a ridiculously boring and monotonous class. I also had her as a sub for a class and learned more in that 1 day than I did in the weeks prior. Dr. Bains is an amazing teacher and person.

Doc baines was the best teacher excellent class,crazy classmates would recommend the class to anyone.

This school is extremely horrible! DO NOT waste your time or money in investing in this institution at all I am begging you. The instructors are extremely unprofessional. Watch out for some of them because they share students grades amongst each other while in the teachers lounge. There is so much favoritism. Administration is stupid and dont know what theyre talking about. They told me that my tuition cost would be a certain amount and come to find out it was something totally different. Nothing is discreet at all, they will call Mr A whos the president of education to come grab students during class time to discuss issues instead of waiting during lunch time or after school to address the matter. I have heard teachers cursing in the hall ways while conversing with each other without a care in the world that this is a place of business and that students are passing by, I have heard with my own two ears teachers speaking poorly of other students without a care in the world that we can hear them. Over all HBS is an unprofessional school! Youre better off going to a different school that will treat you like a human being and truly wants to see you succeed. There are very rude and disrespectful instructors who can care less about students and their feelings. They dont deserve your time or your money! Oh and theyre sarcastic too! The MOA and BOA instructors are horrible and careless. The Asian guy who teachers The business classes is very annoying and doesnt know how to speak to people and the female accounting teacher Ms M shes an inappropriate instructor who has had several issues with many different students because of her sarcasm and distasteful attitude.

Its a great school to get a start on your future career, they prepare you very well for the NCLEX-PN, and also have wonderful teachers who are there for you every step of the way! They also even help you find a job which a great, since the whole purpose is to get a job! Hunter was a great experience!

My experience here was great! No complaints! I learned so much hands on that I think which is the main reason I felt so comfortable going out into the field. everything was exactly how they said it would be & I felt more than prepared to treat actual patients on externship. The teachers were great, understanding and very helpful. Notes were a big thing here and I learned so many different ways on how to do things that it is unbelievable. I have nothing about this place. I also liked that i was able to be apart of Student Council. I actually was recommended here and finished now I would recommend anyone :)

I was failing business practices and Dr. Baines (my teacher for the class) & Ms. Ramano (chairman) helped guide me to pass within just a couple days. They gave me relative work to makeup time while studying for my finals. I got an 83 on the final & went from an F to a B overnight, they know Im interested in MA & Lab as a career & go out of there way to succeed as does every teacher in the school. I highly recommend this school for anyone looking to get a foot in the door in the health care field....the school holds itself to a very high standard since it is an accredited program and you definitely get your moneys worth when it comes to your education....im in the medical assisting program and ive had nothing but positive experiences since i started here in january....the teachers are fabulous and are always available to help you along the way if you need....literally EVERYTHING you learn in the entire program correlates with the skills you need in the field...i am very proud to say i will soon be a graduate of HUNTER BUSINESS SCHOOL!

As a new student at Hunters Business School, I would like to say that one teacher has already showed me that she really cares about her students. Her name is Dr. Bains and I know with her I will not be let down as far making sure I walk away with the tools I need to succeed in the Medical Billing Specialist field and beyond if I choose.

New to hunter business school, enrolled in the billing and coding class, so far so good. I have 2 teachers, Ms jesi and Dr Baines. First day was Ms Jesi, she was ok. Second day was with Dr Baines, she was amazing. She came in introduced herself and seems like a very down to earth women. Talks to fast, but gave us alots of advice, knows her stuff and is pretty smart. Shes like the best friend you know will have your back. The whole class sorta felt more comfortable after meeting her and getting to know each other with her (again 2nd day). I think i am gonna enjoy her class and doing this program. Will update, in case i am wrong.

I havent finished yet but so far my experience in this school is so fantastic I really recommend Hunter they have high quality

I am a student at Hunter in there billing and coding program. Have completed Anatomy and Physiology so far, now doing EMR with Mr Khan, he is so boring, he did one class literally reading an entire chapter word for word. Guess someone forgot to tell him we know how to read. I hate sitting in the class.The opposite of him is Dr Baines, she is PERFECT. She is the super happy, energized, fun, always enjoyable and encouraging teacher. I love being in her class. I learn so much more because I am awake and I actually listen to her. Shes a great conversationalist and uses real life examples to tie in what were doing. The billing gets confusing and insurance by anyone else would probably be boring yet I am actually happy to be there. I love this women, she is confident and makes me feel confident that ill be ok. Thank God for her otherwise I wouldnt have stayed at hunter.

After checking out a few schools, I decided on Hunter Business because of word of mouth, their great reviews and the convenience of their night hours. The classes were well thought out, very educational and the teachers were very helpful. However there is one teacher that stood out among them like a shining star. Dr. Bains goes above and beyond for her students and refuses to let any of them fail or fall behind. There were times when I wanted to quit because being in school, working full time and being chronically ill can be a challenge. She wouldnt let me give up and pushed me to reach my full potential. She is the most generous, thoughtful, kind person I have ever met and to have her as a teacher was one of the best gifts I could have with going back to school.Dr. Bains brings real life medical expierence and the latest knowledge of what to expect when working in a hospital or a doctors office. Hunter Business School is lucky to have her teaching there as one of their top teachers! I cant recommend Dr. Bains or Hunter Business enough!

Coming to Hunter Business School was one of the best decision I made this year. And i can say it was worth it. Teachers are great here but this one teacher Dr. Bains OMG!!!! Was THEEEEE BEST (wish she had taught me when i was younger). She put so much effort and time in her student, even when i felt like i was going to fail she said, listen your going to pass this...with my help your going to pass this and i damn sure did pass that NCCT exam. Shes a very smart and wise lady. Was a pleasure knowing you. BEST TEACHER EVER.
