Worse discriminatory service, I have ever seen. I went online to schedule my appointment And received a call back promptly.I was then asked what was my insurance, When I responded Keystone First She immediately started to stutter and started they were not accepting Keystone First for new patients. I explained I went to their website, and called first and they stated that the office was absolutely on their list for new patients? Hmm I am wondering if I should report the doctor to the state medical board or not? Not sure if it is worth it, however the rep from Keystone said they were so I guess that they had this issue before. So maybe you shouldnt pre judge someone based off the type of insurance they have?

Dr Margolies is so pleasant and thorough and explained everything. I’ve been a patient for six years and every visit has been A good experience from start to finish. The staff very pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend Dr Margolies.

From the first phone call to the office visit it has been a pleasure. I would definitely recommend them. I love the hometown feel. Very nice experience.

I have gone to Dr. Margolies for my eye care since high school. I’ve always had a great experience at every visit. Dr. Margolies is thorough and explains things well. Lisa and everyone who works in the office are so nice and knowledgeable about insurance coverage. I actually moved out of state and still make appointments with Dr. Margolies when I am visiting the area! I have not found an eye care office where I live that I like as much or that is as helpful with insurance. I can’t recommend Dr. Margolies enough!

For about 20 years now, my family has enjoyed the professional, friendly and courteous staff at Margolies Family Eye Care. Dr. Margolies is knowledgeable and exhibits current vision practice standards. His exams are thorough. The office staff are easy to work with and helpful whether assisting with choosing eye wear, teaching how to wear contacts or answering questions. I could see an eye care professional closer to my home but prefer the personal care provided by Dr. Margolies and his staff.

I will begin with making my appointment. The receptionist was very pleasant and kind. I arrived for my exam and again the environment was very friendly. Dr Margolies was very professional and also friendly. I would recommend him to anyone that was looking for a new eye doctor.

Dr. Margolies and his office staff were extremely helpful and thorough. I had my routine yearly exam and a contact lens fitting. I have had dry eye while wearing contacts for years that usually ends up in a daily headache by late afternoon. Dr. Margolies talked me through a lot of options and gave me a new lens to try that offered a fantastic rebate - about half off a yearly supply. He also gave me fish oil samples to try for the dry eye issues. I often feel rushed when I visit any doctors offices these days, but all of my questions and concerns were covered here and at a great value.

My visit to Dr. Margolies office completely exceeded my expectations. From the friendly staff at the front desk to the timely overall office visit was great. Going here for an eye exam, I can assure you the staff and Doc have your best interest in mind and the level of caring they have for their patients truly shines through soon as you walk through the front door.

Dr.Margolies is extremely thorough in examining his patients. The doctor ensures any questions you may have are addressed. If Dr. Margolies finds a condition with your eye health for which he is not specialized to treat, he will refer you to a top specialist for treatment.

Love the staff. Love Dr. Margolies. So easy to get an appointment. They make using our insurance so easy and find ways to save money with rebates on contacts etc.I recommend Dr. Margolies to all my family and friends.The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was the parking situation. It is street parking.

My husband and I went for eye exams with Dr. Margolies this month and were pleasantly surprised at the extensive eye exam we received. We were highly impressed with Dr. Margolies and his staff. They were extremely friendly and very thorough at picking, suggesting and helping us pick our new eye glasses. Can say enough about this Doctor and his staff. I was seen at the last minute on an emergency new patient visit. I was already being squeezed in and hit traffic on my way to my appointment and was embarrassed that I was late, but when I called I was asked to still come for the appointment and not to worry and “breathe”. I couldn’t believe how wonderful this office was being in helping me! The doctor explained things very clearly to me and did not slight my time despite my being late! Highly recommend if you are looking for a knowledgeable eye doctor and staff! The fact that they were all super nice, that was just a bonus!!!!!

They are amazing and they really care.They were able to transfer my insurance with no issues, explained and reviewed what my plan offers so that I could understand this, to my extensive eye exam with Dr. Margolies who was very thorough and very knowledgeable. He made suggestions that would fit my unique circumstances that I will now be getting both glasses and contacts.I have been gone to several eye doctors over the years and never did I find one that was this professional, friendly and knowledgeable, all in the same office, you just don’t get this type of service this day and age but it’s out there with The Margolies Family Eye Care!!!*** I will be referring ALL my Family and Friends to Them ***Wish I would have met them sooner.

Friendly and courteous staff. Never a problem getting an appointment--emergency or otherwise. One stop shopping as they have a very nice array/choice of glasses/frames as well as contacts onsite.Dr. Margolies takes the time to make sure you understand everything before you walk out of the exam room, and anything else that may need explaining is done by the other staff. Excellent patient care and customer service.I would highly recommend.

I read some online reviews and chose Dr. Margolies based on those reviews and his proximity to my home. Just had my first visit and was very pleased all around. Staff was excellent, and Dr. Margolies’ exam was thorough; he used technology & techniques that my previous optometrist didn’t. I’m a bifocal contacts wearer with a stigmatism in one eye, and I had been struggling for the past two years with the different contacts my previous optometrist suggested. I left Dr. Margolies’ office today with a new brand of contacts and I can see again - thank you!

The doctor and the staff at Margolies Family Eye Care made my experience there so easy and pleasant. I love this place! They get you in and out...They are always on time and I never have to wait. If they schedule you at 10am you see the doctor at 10am. I have 4 kids and time is very important to me. Great place to go!

My family have been patients of Dr. Margolies for years. He is so thorough and kind. His staff are wonderful and Im so fond of all of them. They are always on time and so helpful with insurance. They make sure I get any rebates that are available and I cant say enough good things about this office. We receive first rate care and you shouldnt hesitate about becoming a patient!

Im so glad Dr. Margolies is my familys eye doctor! Weve been getting out eyes checked yearly by Dr. Margolies for about 5 years, and have had nothing but great experiences. Ive worn glasses since I was 6 years old, so I have seen a lot of eye doctors over the years.Dr. Margolies has a wonderful office staff - they are always friendly and help me find ways to save on eyeglasses and contact lenses. I get my contacts delivered right to my home within a few days, and my eyeglass are ready quickly too. Im never kept waiting for appointments, and I can always schedule my appointments around my work day. I highly recommend Dr. Margolies .

I have never walked out of the good doctors office and not felt that he had taken the time and paid the attention that was due for a thorough eye exam. The other folk that make up his team were more than friendly, more than cordial, and more than adept at taking care of the business end of the transaction (almost painlessly) and the vending of my spectacles. They dealt with my insurance with no hassle whatsoever. The waiting area is very clean and tidy, although I couldnt really say, the wait was minimal. If you want not only excellent service, but caring hands to trust your vision to, this is the right place. I believe I have had the pleasure of dealing with these fine people for at least four years. In a world where professionalism and customer service is tough to come by, Dr. Margolies and his staff are one less thing to worry about.

The staff are all kind and caring and Dr. Margolies takes his time to ensure you understand every aspect of the exam and the results. Chose to visit Margioles eye care, mainly because they accept my insurance. I really lucked out, though, since all of the staff at the office far surpassed my expectations. I had insurance problems and had to exchange the first pair of glasses that I ordered, and no one treated me like I was a nuisance or a problem. The receptionists were honest and patient, which made all of the issues so much easier to deal with.I genuinely enjoyed walking in the door each time that I visited. Dr. Margioles was polite and knowledgeable, and all of his staff are welcoming and nothing short of sweethearts. I would highly recommend this office if you need a reliable local optometrist!!
