Trying to post here! Ty was my contacts specialist who taught how to put my brand new contacts in and out properly. She was wonderful, as well as friendly very patient and professional. I will add the entire staff was very professional as well. Thank you very much, Ty and to the entire staff.

After being assured on the phone that they take both mine and my friends insurance my friend was told at the place they won’t take that insurance. Apparently the phones are run by a separate company that does not have accurate information and the woman at the front even said multiple people have complained about this.They also weren’t up front about how much my copay was, after initially being told it was 20$ at the beginning, they tried to charge me a total of 60$ after and wouldn’t even give me my contact prescription, instead they wanted me to to make another appointment.

Very professional and friendly staff here. They were able to accommodate walk-ins on a busy day and patiently took time to help with the selection process for frames.

I had such a great experience at vision works! I would recommend this business to anyone looking to improve their eyewear! The staff is absolutely amazing- Shelle, Lenny, and Diane answered all of my questions and were very informative and down to earth. Usually, I dread going to purchase a pair of glasses. While my grandson was being fitted for he’s glasses he expressed the glasses didn’t fit right the technician walked away from us. When I asked why she walked away I got no answer. I asked who was in charge again no response. The receptionist decided to respond and told me I needed to wait. When I asked how long her response was as long as it takes or I could leave. Very unprofessional! I didn’t want my seven year old grandson to see such poor behavior so I left. Poorly run facility!The next day I went vision works located at the airport plaza in farmingdale. They took care of my grandson with no issue. The visionworks in Farmingdale is well run all members are caring and professional.Pina

I went there for my mom. My mom has Medicaid, I put Everything her information online. But when I went there to the store. They didnt ask for her insurance or didnt ask for anything change in her insurance. When we finally finished, her doctor then moved on to purchase her eyeglasses. Then They told me to show her insurance. When I showed them, then they told me they didnt take Medicaid. If we know before we didnt come to that store, now we have to pay out of our pocket for a check-up.

The customer service is disgusting. The store manager is terrible she was very rude and VERY unprofessional on the phone . Customer service at this store is a complete joke . Do NOT come here .

Horrible and rude customer service. I walked into he store with my 3 kids on Saturday that needed new eyeglasses, I already had prescriptions. As soon as walking in I looked around to see for any signs indicating instructions due to Covid where to proceed, I did not see them so I started to walked to the side of the store where there was one chair to have my kids wait there as I did that someone yelled loud and rude “WALK STRAIGHT AHEAD “ all customers now looking my way, I started walking to the front and it was only then that I saw the arrows on the ground. I think they should have a post with a sign as customers come in to tell them where to go because it they’re like me we don’t look to the ground first. Now as I approach the front desk register person I tell her I have prescriptions and looking to get glasses for my kids. Front desk person asked if I had reserved a time( websites clearly says you do not need to reserve a time) I replied no, I can see the other associate next to her from the corner of my eye already shaking her no and the person I was speaking to looks at her quickly and then at me and tells me “I am sorry but today we can’t help you, but if you can come back tomorrow oh sorry Sunday we’re closed, another day it will be great preferably during the week”What type of service is this??? Obviously if I am there on a weekend is because that what works for my schedule. First and last time I’ll consider Visionworks for my family eyewear needs. Only reason I went there was thinking they had a bigger selection but with that type of treatment to new customers I rather take my business elsewhere.

An amazing place! So helpful and knowledgeable! After several horrible experiences at other places, this was like finding heaven! Recently went in to have my glasses repaired and George Maggio was extremely helpful and patient, even during this stressful pandemic, he went the extra mile. Have been wearing glasses for over 55 years and have experienced many individuals, but you have a customer for life!

All I needed to do was pick out frames. I had a prescription and you couldn’t fit me in for over a week. So I called Pearl and they told me to come right down. No wait. Davis Optical you have now lost a loyal customer for life

Totally disappointed with the customer service !! After not being acknoweledged for 10 minutes . I was greeted by a yea. I was picking up my glasses. She then handed them to me . To try on no mirror no comments just a here you go. There are plenty of other eyeglass places to go . Your employees helpfulness will keep you going back , never again

Even during these stressful and unfortunate times, the customer service at this location was great. George was amazing! So patient and kind! He most definitely made me a very happy customer and I will be back because of him.Sadly, some people don’t understand we’re in the middle of a pandemic so everywhere is short staffed. Would be nice if someone answered the phone. Waited for 35 min last Friday and nobody came on ,and today now 42 min listening to the same song over and over. Called 4 times and never got anyone on the phone. All I need is to pick up glasses and wanted to know if I need appointment. I’m just walking in now.

Excellent customer service from the moment that I walked in the door. Sue H. was so helpful. I haven’t gotten glasses in years. I needed night vision and reading glasses. Sue really educated me on my options and helped me pick out the best frames. I would highly recommend this location. Very happy!!!

Always great service. They always make you feel like your important. They go above and beyond to make things right. I brought back a new pair of frames several times for adjustments until they fit just right. They kept on smiling and maintaining a professional attitude to help me.

What a low rent company ! a multimillion dollar corporation that wont answer its phones . It amazes me in this climate of uncertainty and failing businesses corporations like visionworks will go to any lengths to avoid dealing with customers , unfortunately im locked into them and dont have achoice. ! tr.

The store phone number always goes straight to another site and not the actual store. Trying to get in touch with anyone at the store is horrible, and the people who answer the phones are always rude.

Great place to get glasses. Dr. was very good. Andrea helped me with my glasses and made them perfect. Was not able to wear progressives in the past but my new progressives work great!!

We had a 4pm appointment and waited until 5:05 ... Our name wasnt even on the waiting list ..hmm I wonder what they guy who greeted me wrote on the waiting list then??? Why do they keep giving appointments if they are running 2 hours behind? they were rude, no organization what so ever and they obviously dont care about their client. Horrible customer service. I booked an appointment over a month ago specifically for dilation. Was given an appointment for 1:40, showed up at 1:20 And said “I am here for my eye exam with dilation. “ was taken right in, given a “pre exam” and told to wait for the dr. An hour later at 2:30 I am told that the dr will not use dilation(I have had lasik and was told by my lasik people I need to get a yearly exam with dilation). I had even overheard the previous rep, who did the pre exam, say that they normally don’t do dilation due to covid but the manager had approved it. The dr would not budge and then the manager afraid to manage The situation folded like a cheap suit and tells me “we don’t do dilation, company policy.” Where was this policy A month ago when I made the appointment or a hour ago when I entered the location and began my appointment? The manager Juan was no help it’s ok they didn’t care because they know I’ll never be back.

Took my daughter to get new glasses. Had the pleasure of meeting Susan Horgan. She was so patient and sweet with us. She informed me of a sale going on, buy one glasses get second half price. We purchased 2 glasses for a great price. I would highly recommend this place. The staff there are so nice.

I had an amazing experience when I went there. They greeted me with a smile and exceptional customer service. Prices were good too. I went in with my wife for our glasses and they gave me discounts available and made the purchase a hassle free experience.I highly recommend them to anyone who wants an eye exam or purchase glasses or lenses.Keep an eye out for their sales because their sales are amazing.

Very poor service. Be prepare to loose a half a day at this place. I went in a 1:00 pm and got out of there at 3:15 pm without my glasses. After my exam they lost my prescription and put someone else prescription in my folder. So, when they called that name, no one answered and they kept passing me over. I saw several people that came after me being taken care of. When, I complained to the front desk a nice blonde Lady checked my folder and saw the error and tried to correct it with the glass specialist (A tall white lady) but she totally ignored her and me. I waited for her to finish with a customer and when I tried to talk to her, she told me to sit down and wait. I told her I had waited long enough and left. By the way the optometrist did a great job. So, my complaint is directed to the people in charge of selling the glasses.

Been coming here with my family for a while since the store was in east meadow. Great clean store great staff. They have a raffle going on for a free pair of Maui Jim’s I thought that was pretty cool since their like 500$ a pair. . All I had to do was write about my experience.!! Signing in was easy doctor was thorough and check out with a pair of glasses was great. Can’t complain.

My girlfriend went here to get glasses for her mother, when arriving she had to beg for service from the receptionist. After finally getting help from another person the receptionist decided to butt in the conversation and talk for the sales advisor. Which was totally unprofessional. I dont understand how you can go from ignoring me to deciding when you want to help me. Once finally getting to a conclusion, on a sale they didnt give any cloth to wipe the lens with the sale. Last time i checked a $40.00 per of glasses from wize-eyes would get you a cloth. She went back thinking it was a mistake but nope. THEY CHARGE YOU FOR THE CLOTH? she accepted the ridiculous $3.00 charge but had to wait another 20 minutes at the front of the line to be rung up because the manager was to busy having a conversation with everyone while my girlfriend and all the customers were in confusion on what is going on? If you want to really work hard to get your glasses and want to feel like youve been taken advantage I highly recommend coming here!

Very positive experience. The doctor was very thorough. They have a large selection of frames to choose from. Andrea was very helpful with helping me select a frame and going over the different lens options. It was my first time here and will definitely return!

Visionworks has been amazing. I highly recommend them. The exam process was way easy! Sitting with the optician was awesome too, very informative on different lens options and helped me choose a great frame to fit my face!

Twice I made an online appointment and twice they didnt have the info when I got their. they need to step up their tech if they want to be no human contact business.

I am very happy with my experience here. I was greeted immediately as I walked in by Andrea and didnt have to wait. I found the staff here to be very knowledgeable about their products and skilled in taking care of their customers. When I picked up my glasses a week later I was very pleased with the quality and sharpness of the lenses. Overall a great experience.

You have to go in the story to get anything done.. and even then you have to wait a long time. I was placed on hold for almost a half hour and I was just trying to reschedule my apponintment UNEXCEPTABLE.I am very disappointed. Will not go here again.

This place does not care about the patient at all. I came in the day I got home from school for my 2 week break and I told the doctor I was student and the date I was going back to school. She told me it was no problem and my contacts would be in on time. I called a few days prior to leaving to see if my contacts were in and they told me they were but I would have to come in for a trial, in which they had no appointments available before my leave date. The doctor never told me anything about having to trial contacts, this has never happened before and Ive been wearing contacts for about 10 years. They would not accommodate me in any way.In addition to this, the day of my eye exam the front desk could not figure out if I had a co-pay or not and took longer than my actual appointment to try to figure it out. In the end they told me they would call me when they figured it out and I could pay over the phone, which I was fine with. I never received a call about the payment, so I figured there was none. A few weeks later I received a rude voicemail saying You never cashed out and whats going on with that.Im in the medical field and would have handled this situation very differently. Cater to the needs of your patients, not what works best for you and gets you money.

I brought my son here today for the first time. He had an exam and purchased glasses. He is special needs, and everyone was so kind and phenomenal! They were so patient. It was a very welcoming environment. We definitely have a new optical!

My husband and I went for exams and glasses . I dont think we had exams!!! We both where seen by Dr. and said the same thing . What was that!! We where in and out in 2 min no questions asked. Last time I will go there.

I have been to this location several times over the last week or two to get glasses for my daughter and the lack of customer service that we received from the girl at the front desk, I believe her name is Tayona, is by far the worst I have ever encountered! She is rude to the customers, to her coworkers and even to the eye doctor! I work in a customer service oriented workplace and the behavior I have seen and attitude I heard would never be tolerated. We had to come back in an hour so I asked her to put the glasses my daughter was thinking of getting with her records. She looked at them and said to my daughter THATS WHAT YOU CHOSE? You can find something better than that! How do you speak that way to a child?! The doctor is nice, and so are the other people who work there, but I never want to return to this location because of how we were treated by Tayona!

Check in was easy, filled out paperwork and then got called in for my exam. The doctor was very thorough and their chairside manner was awesome also. Tina was very helpful. She helped me choose frames that fit my fat head and informed me of all the different types of lenses I could put in my new frames and how they work. Now I’m in progressives and loving them.Great positive experience.

My experience was excellent Mary Clinton my Optician was very patient and took the time to go over all my options and plan. I would recommend Levittown Davis Vision for anyone needing glasses. I recommend Mary if you have the option to sit down and go over what works best for you .

Was slow last year 2017 still slow in 2018. Have been coming for years because of union insurance. Cant remember last time they kept to their schedule.Why bother to make appointments 11:15 appointment an hour waiting. Exam itself have been good.

I have to say- from the time I got my first pair of glasses, my anxiety has grown and I despise picking out frames. I never know what looks good and in the past have been convinced that a pair looks good on me and when I get home I say, “what was I thinking.” Preparing myself and going to Davis Vision because of my insurance, I was determined to stay within my allotted allowance.Upon entering and having my eye exam I was set at ease. The Doctor was pleasant and informative. Without using jargon that I had no idea what he meant, he explained why I was having difficulty seeing, that it wasn’t my eyesight exactly but a focusing issue. In the past, I was just told- wear your glasses all the time. I finally understand why I have difficulty.Now on to my favorite part of my visit- picking out frames-I worked with Sue- aka “mamma” she was beyond phenomenal! I have never had a pleasant experience picking out frames until today. She knows her stuff, and eliminated the need for me to be overwhelmed at the shelves- I just sat down and she brought frames to me. Through elimination, my preferences and honest feedback from Mamma, I found an awesome pair of frames that flatter my face and were within my budget. To boot, this took place in record time for me of in and out within one hour- in the past, I literally have spent over an hour and a half just trying to pick out frames! I also got a pair of prescription sunglasses through a buy one get one 1/2 off. Thank you so much for finally making this not only a tolerable experience but one I actually enjoyed!

I cannot give enough praise for Sue Horgan, she went above and beyond expectations. She was extremely helpful and patient when assisting me in picking out frames that look good on me. In the past I’ve had trouble with people measuring my eyes properly for the progressive lenses I wear. Sue’s measurements were spot on. I won’t hesitate to to recommend Sue and Visionworks of Levittown.

Had an absolute wonderful experience at the Levittown location thanks to Shelley. My son broke his glasses 3 days before his performance in Peter Pan. Shelley found another frame for us and switched out his lenses in a matter of minutes. She saved the day! Thank you Shelley.
