I took a chance & emailed Ashley Wed night after I was free from my last/recent contract! I had been receiving emails from Ethos a few times a week for several weeks. Not sure how you all got my email address. I looked at the posting for Big Springs & was curious. Did not expect to hear back from her so quickly. Ashley texted me Thurs morning. I had a busy day & was not going to pursue anything job-wise on Thurs. I was in talks for 3 weeks about a critical care educator position in Honolulu, HI. But I had not heard back from the Recruiter after 2 interviews. Then after Ashley texted me early Thurs morning, I decided to get out of bed, sent her my resume & a few key attachments; she called me, we had a really nice chat, & the rest is history...the phone conversation Thurs morning changed everything for me. I decided not to pursue the HI job, it was a BIG no brainer in terms of compensation, to go with Ethos as a travel critical care RN. What pleased me tremendously was her honesty, empathy, & caring, she is an ICU RN, had recently done travel nursing & knows the challenging territory & pitfalls one is faced with in some critical care environment as a travel nurse. Friday morning I was nervous that I had not heard back from Big Springs hosp, so texted Ashley & suggested she submitted me for 2 more contracts. We discussed possibilities by texts & was subsequently submitted for 2 more.However, less than 24 hours from first submission I got interviewed early afternoon (48 mins convo) & offered a contract immediately. As a matter of fact, the Director was still chatting with me when she mentioned she had emailed Ethos to confirm she made me an offer & I accepted.
