I never had a root canal before, and I was nervous about it. Dr. Cunningham came in and introduced himself, and I started feeling better. His staff was fantastic and knowledgeable. They explained the procedure and what was going to happen. The staff showed me the instruments they would be using, and explained their purpose. They had a bite block to keep my mouth open, and I surprisingly preferred it, as opposed to just having to keep my mouth open. I was surprised how quick it was. 25-30 minutes later, I was out and ready to clock back into the office. Thank you Dr. Cunningham!

I was really worried about the procedure, as I have had root canals before and they took 2 hours. My jaw hurt and they had to be retreated. I was told how long the procedure would be and 30 minutes for the actual procedure was the time. I was amazed! I was told everything that would be done before it was done and how to communicate if I have any discomfort. The initial numbing with the needle was not painful in the least and he told me exactly what to expect and when while he was injecting. I had never had that much comfort with an oral shot. Unbelievable! The procedure was done quickly and they frequently checked with me to make sure I was comfortable. I felt like I was not just forgotten in the chair. I left the office feeling comfortable and was told what to expect during the healing process so I did not chew on that side for next week as not to experience discomfort. I had a pleasant conversation with the office person who checked me out and she made me feel like a friend! I highly recommend this office and Dr. Cunningham D.D.S. , if you have any need for a root canal! Absolutely fantastic!

Had to have an emergency root canal that another dentist office failed to fully mediate. Cunningham got me on antibiotics and in for the procedure in no time. I was met with overwhelming hospitality and professionalism. They even remembered that I had a baby on the way as I mentioned it over the phone for the reason this was so time sensitive. If I need any more extensive dental work I will absolutely not hesitate to go back

Short to no wait time. Knowledgeable staff will call you prior to the appointment to discuss cost so there is no surprises when you get there. Dr. Cunningham is compassionate and gentle. He explains the process and walks you through the procedures. Skilled in anesthesia injections that you can barely feel while hes doing it. I will send everyone I know in need of an Endodontist to this clinic.

I’ve never been to a more enjoyable dental experience! I almost fell asleep Dr. Cunningham was doing my route canal.. The best customer service I’ve ever had in any medical office!!! Dr. Cunningham was so gentle and explained what he was doing every step of the way. I’m not sure if Bernie is the office manager or not, but she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in advising me how to keep my costs down by helping me navigate my dental insurance plan to make sure I got maximum coverage! The root canal was so affordable as she guided me how to use my existing dental coverage, add on a supplement plan and pay the monthly premium for one just Long enough so I would get the root canal and then the crown that I would need afterwards covered almost at 100%. There was no waiting. With the other dental insurance I added, and I can cancel the second policy at any time, new contracts!I’m writing this review before I’ve received the final bill from the endodontist, but I feel confident that they helped me save more money than any of the other eight endodontist’a offices I called. Great service, terrific dentist and a much reduced fee. You’re in great hands with Dr. Cunningham and his ENTIRE staff.

For me going to the dentist is difficult, I try to distract my mind with music, and in my case I need 4 root canal retreatments, the experience with the doctor was excellent, each step was explained step by step, he has the experience, and the very good human quality !!! recommended!!!

Dr. Cunningham & his staff are excellent. I have never had any work done on my teeth (except wisdom teeth pulled & was put under). This was my first procedure due to cracked back tooth from clenching jaw at night. I was nervous - but he & his staff were super-sweet & walked me through everything & I felt very at ease & 2 days later, I feel SO MUCH BETTER after the root canal. Dr Cunningham did a great job!! I recently had an apicoectomy and a root canal retreat. Both pretty big procedures, in my opinion. He did a great job and made sure that they were virtually painless. He seemed genuinely concerned that I was comfortable and made sure that I knew what he was doing along the way. And I couldn’t agree more with one of the other reviewers...Dr Cunningham seems to be very nice and considerate in the way he treats his staff, and likewise. Always thanking them, almost with each hand off of an instrument. The whole staff has been extremely kind and helpful, and professional! I hope I don’t need additional work done anytime soon, but if I do, I will absolutely go back to Dr Cunningham’s office!

I am normally scared to death the moment I sit in dentist chair. Dr. C and his staff made me comfortable and feel safe the moment I sat down. Very gentle with the whole procedure and it went very well. This is not the first time I have been to Dr. Cs office for a root canal and I would never go anywhere else to have this procedure done. He and his staff are just fabulous.

I was referred to Dr. Kevin Cunningham by my regular dentist, to repair an old root canal from 10+ years ago that was done improperly by my old dentist and had become infected, risking long-term bone loss if left untreated. Dr. Cunningham diagnosed the exact cause and expertly resolved the issue. Based on my experience, I would describe him as an expert practitioner in his field -- his skill level was extremely impressive. His staff is very capable as well, and he did a good job of keeping the procedure as comfortable as possible for me. Highly recommended.

I was a little nervous about having a root canal because a good friend told me it was the worst experience she had ever had and would have a tooth pulled before she would go through that again. I told myself that was probably a long time ago and hoped for the best. My experience at Dr. Cunninghams office was the best. Not even the shots to numb the area were painful. It was done in an hour and I was comfortable and free from pain the entire time. I expected it to be painful when the shots wore off, but it was not even painful then. He and his staff were very friendly and professional. I do not think it could have gone any better.

About 15 years ago I had my first root canal in my early 20s and it was probably the worst medical experiences of my life. Im hard to numb and the dentist at the time had a hard time believing I was feeling the pain of the drill. It led me to feeling a percentage of most of the procedure.Needless to say, I had a lot of anxiety going into my second root canal yesterday. Everyone from the front desk staff through to Dr. Cunningham all assured me that they were going to take great care of me and followed through completely.Everyone was quick and efficient, and Dr. Cunningham was incredibly sensitive and fast to respond to any sign of pain and made sure I was completely numb before moving to the bulk of the procedure by doing sensitivity tests and even being willing to remove everything they have to place in your mouth to re-numb if needed without any inkling that it would bother them in the slightest to do so.I got so comfortable at one point I think I fell asleep during the latter half of the procedure. I have not even needed any pain medication since the numbness wore off as the pain overall has been very minimal.I cannot recommend this office, Dr. Cunningham and his staff enough.Side note, they allow you to fill out your first time patient forms online which I loved. Theres nothing I hate more than having to show up 20 minutes early to the appointment and sit there with a clipboard and fill out page after page of medical history by hand. All I had to do was put my signature on everything when I arrived. It was quick and easy.

This was my first root canal in about 35 years and was as pleasant an experience as a root canal can be. All steps in the procedure were clearly described in advance and methods of communication when talking was impossible were well-defined. I arrived a few minutes early for the appointment and was called in as soon as I finished my medical history. X-rays were taken right away and consultation was done immediately following the x-rays. The whole process, including waiting for the anesthetic to take effect, was done efficiently and I was in and out of the office in less than an hour.

Root canals never come at a convenient time. The staff did their best to get me in before I left for vacation, which was SO greatly appreciated! The professional approach at Dr. Cunninghams office began with my first phone call with Jay for an appointment to my last detail of checkout after the procedure. The staff are very helpful explaining the procedure and fees involved and working with my insurance complications. The doctor and technician during the procedure have a calming and reassuring presence. They are not rushing and explain every step of the procedure before and during the appointment. They were extremely patient during a time of discomfort that required a pause by me -- showing no signs wanting to rush to get the procedure completed allowing me to relax and continue. They kindly followed up the next day to check on me and reported back to my dentist the results. Highly recommend Dr. Kevin Cunningham.

February 11 I got a roof canal from Dr. Kevin P Cunningham. I was really nervous but was put to ease by his amazing staff. The entire procedure from beginning to end was painless. It was oddly relaxing. It took less than hour. I havent experienced any pain from the root canal.

Needing a root canal due to a chipped molar, I elected for conscious sedation in lieu of previously poor and immensely painful root canal/ crown experiences in the past (5+ times) and the anxiety that I carry with dental procedures as a result. It was incredibly surprising that I was fully conscious and did not even feel the numbing shots, not to mention any of the procedure whatsoever. Highly recommend any serious dental procedure with Dr. Cunningham. It is very apparent he and his staff genuinely care about the patient throughout the entire process to ensure the utmost comfort. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else for endodontics. I needed a root canal ASAP, but I was scared of the pain. I finally made the call and they were able to get me in within days. When I went for my first consultation the front desk women, I believe there names were Natalie and Bernie, made me feel much more comfortable with the procedure. They calmed me down completely. When it was time for the root canal, Dr. Cunningham administered a shot and I could barely feel it, let alone anything else having to do with the root canal. It was fast, error free— just the way it should have been. Very pleased!

Just had my 4th root canal completed by Dr. Cunningham. Drove from Minnesota, where I relocated to about 8 months ago, to have him do it.The entire office staff is always kind and considerate and a pleasure to even just chat with. Dr. Cunningham does a quick and painless root canal (if you skip the scary novocaine part, is that what they still use?) His work is great and I have not had a single problem with any of the root canals, started apparently in 2014,then 15, 16 and now 20, yep, my teeth are awesome. Seriously, Ive been able to keep the teeth because of this office and his awesome work. My mom and grandma lost a lot of their teeth because of poor dental work.I also have pretty severe TMJ and the fact that he can do such quality work so quickly even made an 800 mile round trip absolutely worth it. I cant imagine Ill stop coming here for all my endodontist needs, despite the 4 states I have to go through to get to him!

Moving numerous times for 30 years during my husbands military career, finding a good dentist was always a top priority for me at each move. I was sent to Dr. Cunningham by my dentist when I needed a root canal about 20 years ago. And thats the best recommendation I ever got! Not only is Dr. Cunningham an A1 endodontist, he makes special effort in relieving the patients anxiety and assuring the procedure is pain free. GREAT staff;;;;friendly & professional. EXTREMELY helpful with insurance issues. Literally PAINLESS procedure ....I was VERY impressed with Dr Cunningham. He explained the procedure prior to starting and proceeded as stated. Upon completion he provided a script for pain meds which was I never needed/used. For someone who DOES NOT cherish the thought of going to the dentist (who does) Dr Cunningham puts you at ease and is very gentle throughout the procedure. One cannot go wrong selecting him as their endodonist.

I was told by my dentist that I needed a root canal. I am close to 60 years of age and all I ever heard was the horror stories on root canal. In addition, I had been diagnosed with cancer in 2016 and had half of my pancreas removed and my entire spleen. To say the least, I was very concern about this procedure. I did my due diligence on finding a Endodontist. I saw all the reviews on Dr. Cunningham so I went to him for an evaluation. He was very thorough and understanding about my concerns due to the abscess and no spleen to fight the infection. Dr. Cunningham performed my root canal and I didnt feel a thing. The pain was very minimal the next day too. Dr. Cunningham lived up to all these 5 star reviews. He will always be my Endodontist. His staff is awesome too.

I had a nasty abscess tooth that was extremely painful. It caused me to miss work a couple of days due to the pain, swelling, and fever I got. Dr. Cunninghams staff worked so hard to get me an appointment as quickly as possible and did all of the insurance leg work. I arrived for my appointment and was greeted with a smile and understanding of how horrible I felt. I was so ready for relief. Dr. Cunningham was right on time and very compassionate. After his examination, he thoroughly explained that it would not be in my best interest to do a root canal that day due to the extent of the infection. Boy, was he right! I returned five days later still with infection and pain, but Dr Cunningham and Crystal kept me informed, comfortable, and warm. It was a rough root canal (the worst one Ive ever had), but the care they provided was amazing. I will ALWAYS go to Dr Cunningham because of his honest, compassionate, excellent care!

I had a great time! ( believe it or not! ) Everyone involved was friendly, informative ,consoling and great at their jobs. It started with Natalie when I made my initial appointment. She answered all my questions with patience and understanding. I was in great hands with Dr Cunningham and his assistant Jamie. They provided every comfort imaginable and made the experience quick and stress-free. It ended with Bernie who is the heart of the office staff. She went over the after-care and took my money with humor! I had a pain-free experience due to their teamwork and professionalism from start to finish.

I have had two procedures done over the past three years. For both visits it was a great experience. The staff and Dr. made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend this office for any dental care.

I highly recommend Dr. Cunningham. He is very professional, courteous, caring and respectful not only to his patients but his entire staff. In turn his entire staff is very professional, courteous, and caring to patients as well. Positive experience when I have had misfortune of needing multiple root canal procedures!

Could not have encountered a more professional and friendly staff than at Dr. Cunninghams office. Friendly, polite, helpful. I could go on. Suffice it to say I was impressed and would highly recommend their office to anyone needing help with their specialty.

The root canal was fast, efficient, and painless. Dr. Cunningham took what couldve been miserable and made it more than good. He explained every part of what was coming, and then let me zone out and listen to a podcast while he operated. My mouth is sore, but not in pain. Thats a good deal.

I had a root canal retreat 2 days ago and am in no pain at all. This was the most comfortable, relaxing, and laidback dental experience ever. The doctor was so nice and got done in, what felt like, no time at all! Highly recommend!!

Dr. Cunningham was very thorough and informative during my entire procedure, asking if I was OK and if I needed anything. He told me what he was going to do and then told me what he did when he had finished. I was very pleased with Dr. Cunningham and his staff.

Dr Cunningham is by far the best doctor I’ve ever seen. I was in pain for days. When I came into his office instead of sending me home and scheduling a root canal, he knew I was in tons of pain and had two young children at home so he scheduled a root canal that day to stop the pain. I RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE!!! To top it off the office staff was so kind !

This was the best dental experience I have ever had! Everyone was so kind and informative. I had been in pain for a week, was a new patient and going out of town for 2 weeks, they fit me in within 24 hours. Dr. Cunningham is very patient and gentle, I felt the slight sting of the shot to numb the area but NO pain during the procedure. I was sore for 2 days but not in pain. I would recommend Dr. Cunningham and his staff to everyone! I wanted to hug everyone in the office when I left!

Dr. Cunningham was great! It was a root canal on a front tooth and he made it just as easy as a regular cleaning. I definitely would go back!

Root canals are not fun. That being said, Dr. Kevin and his staff made my root canal as fun as they possibly could. Dr. Kevin made sure my filling matched my dress and that attention to detail is really all I can ask for.
