Our Maggie had a good foundation from early training but at 2 years still had alot of puppy and stubbornness. I admit I was a little freaked out sending her away for 16 days, would she forget us, think we abandoned her, would her spunky personality change? Lyric invited us to join one of her Saturday group classes & after 2 minutes of talking with her & hearing all the great comments from her clients at the class I knew Maggie (really me😉) was going to be fine! It is one of the best commitments I have made for us & Maggie! When she says she is always there to help even after training she means it! AMAZING! We just put our dog, Scout, through StoneHaven’s behavior program and his “new and improved” demeanor has exceeded our expectations! He was once a dog who tried to attack other dogs and now has a desire to play with them. His leash behavior is top notch now and we are so excited to take him everywhere! Lyric kept in constant communication with us while he stayed with her, the updates were so fun to look at almost daily and see his progress, and she continues to help us whenever we have questions and for follow ups. Seriously just a text away at all times! Where do I start!!Lyric is great theres one thing I noticed right away and thats her passion for what she does and her love for all dogs. She really did an amazing job at training our 5 month old XL Bully Ghost. He had the puppy play and bite couldnt be inside without being a menace in the house unless he was in cage and with our 2 year old yorkie he didnt have a stop button to his play. He did have the basic sit and didnt pull when walked but thats about it. After 16 days he came home he knows commands like heal, place, sit, stay, leave it, off and he can be called from many yards away. He can go out in public settings without issues and does very well. She gave us an obedient dog back. Hes very well behaved.Like all dogs I as the owner will need to follow through and follow up with training to get the best out of him and take him even further but I would honestly recommend Lyric to anyone looking to have their dog trained you wont regret it. I truly couldnt thank her enough.Lyric is patient, honest, explains everything to you step by step and kept us up to date all 16days.Lyric 🙏 Thank you!

I can’t say enough about Lyric and StoneHaven K9 Training. We have 2 dogs with 2 very different issues. Lyric worked with us to identify the triggers and helped us learn how to manage them. She worked hard to train us (humans) on how to train/manage our dogs. We thought we would have to re-home one of our dogs. She gave us our life back. We could never leave the dogs anywhere so we could go on vacation, but now we can. Lastly she won’t over charge or charge you for things you don’t need. SHE IS THE BEST. Our family will forever be great full for what StoneHaven K9 Training did for us.

I can’t say enough good things about Lyric! My girl Peyton went to her for the 25 day board and train program with lots of issues. No confidence, dog aggression, resource guarding, playing “tag” when she wasn’t on a leash 🤣 and some other things! Lyric was very patient and persistent with training Peyton and I! She always kept me up to date on what they were working on that day with texts, pictures and videos which was amazing. She has a passion for what she does and it definitely shows in the results you get with your pup! It really was an incredible experience and I’m extremely happy with the results!

My puppy, Rubi, completed a two week training program at Stonehaven. I am so impressed with the results! Lyric and Chris both did an excellent job working with my girl. The leash techniques have been awesome for stress free walks. Previously, it was difficult to do household tasks like laundry because Rubi would try to steal clothes, but now she sits calmly in place. During the program, I received daily updates on Rubis progress. Lyric was a great teacher, teaching me the proper techniques too! On top of the training, Rubi had a great time socializing and playing with the other dogs. I highly recommend Stonehaven to anyone needing help with their dog!

Sending our new puppy for training with Lyric was an awesome decision. We sent in a cute but wild child. With training our pup exceeded our expectations and we got to see the training each step of the way. Lyric coached us on how to continue the training. I had a meet and greet with Lyric and instantly saw her passion, my puppy was going to be ok - me not so much.. I had a lot of anxiety and concerns about sending my baby boy off to the 16 day training. I was genuinely concerned about my dogs behavior after training, would be a different dog (attitude wise/sad) when I got him back. Would he love me anymore and hate me for leaving him...I made the jump and Lyric trained my then 7 month old, 70 pound Great Dane mix puppy who had no clue how big he was. Toby is very strong, very needy, choked himself with his collar when being walked or when he met someone new out of excitement. He used his size and strength against us, we didnt walk him - he walked or dragged us. During training Lyric uploaded daily pictures and videos on how he was doing, him following commands, him walking beside her on a leash and not pulling her down the road like he did with us.My anxiety was basically for nothing except I missed him, Toby came home the happy playful self but doesnt walk us anymore, he walks beside us like he was trained. We have had set backs from lack of following through on our end, puppy brain and letting Toby slack a little bit but we continue to work with him - I felt terrible telling Lyric where we were slacking in some areas but she gave us tips and tricks to help and those areas have improved. I love that she takes time and does monthly follow up sessions with all of the pups she has trained, those sessions help both me and Toby.I am so glad I had the meet and greet and chose Lyric/Stonehaven for Toby. She definitely knows what she is doing and it was the best decision for my horse of a dog.

Bruno my English bull terrier did Lyrics training program. He was a wild an crazy boy (he still is when it’s play time) but the only difference now is he knows how to listen and follow my lead. Before his training he would lead me! He would drag me around to the point I didn’t feel comfortable walking him because I had zero control. Even after several months of Bruno’s training with lyric he is still doing fantastic. I can walk him in public and he doesn’t pull me anymore! He knows how to stay in place when he needs to. He truly has learned how to control his craziness. Also Lyric is the best! She keeps communication with your during the whole training process. Constantly sending pics and videos and little updates. If your thinking of putting your dog in training you should absolutely do it! You will not regret it!

Lyric saved our dog, Toby. He was a 4 yr old adopted rescue dog with aggressive issues. We were told by other trainers he could never be different and was doomed to staying at our home and being locked in a room when company came. Lyric was our last chance. Lyric trained Toby to be obedient and calm, and gave us the training to keep him in control and give him structure. He is a much happier dog now, not as anxious nor reactive. And he is still his enthusiastic, goofy self. Now we have the tools to make our life together much more enjoyable. And since we continue the training Lyric taught us, every day with Toby just gets better and better. Every dog we adopt will go to Lyric for training.

Lyric is wonderful! Our sheepadoodle became a ball of anxiety after he first experienced fire works and we struggled with him as he was afraid of everything after that! We hired a trainer and was told our dog needed medication even when I did not see that as the case. When I contacted Lyric she didn’t make me feel like my dog was crazy she said it was all treatable with a good foundation of training. Now he is no longer afraid of other dogs and is a great playmate as well as no longer afraid of other humans. He is still a puppy so he has his moments but he is definitely a different dog!

Lyric is truly passionate about what she does. I have brought 3 dogs to her for training and will continually to use her for boarding and training tune ups.

Lyric is amazing!! We have a blue rust Doberman named Wyatt and he was dropped off for his 16 day board and train. When we dropped him off he was not potty trained pulled on the leash, darn near dragging us down the road, He wouldn’t listen to any commands. Since training Wyatt has improved so much and takes nice walks with sitting and stay abilities which is Soooo nice. I can actually make him stay while I go walk around and about. The best thing about it we can now take him in public which is huge for us. I would recommend any training with lyric, she is so sweet, honest and has great communication I got updated every day snd post all the time on FB getting to see Wyatt’s progress. Wyatt will be going over this weekend for a weekend board which is another great part of the program. Not only does she offer stays but she has a get together in public every first Saturday of the month you cannot beat that!!! Thank you Lyric ❤️

We sent our deaf and aggressive blue heeler Zoe to StoneHaven for a month long rehabilitation and training. We had our doubts that Zoe would ever be manageable, but she is a completely different doggo now. Lyric worked with us at multiple locations, highlighting our actions that previously enabled Zoes aggressive behavior, and gave us tools to more effectively communicate with her (e-collar, pinch collar, better hand signals, etc.) Since the training, we havent had any dog fights, terrified pedestrians, or stressful hikes. More importantly, Zoe is happier and safer!

You may have met our man 8 month old Krome in a recent Stonehaven video trying to tear Lyrics arm off and eating her kids sock on his arrival day. WOW, what a difference 16 days can make! He came home Wednesday and yesterday (4 days later) we hosted about 20 for Super Bowl and looked at it as Krome Final Exam, and BOY DID HIM IMPRESS! This is a stubborn, bull headed dog, and STRONG. So strong. Hes a lover, and a jumper by nature who wants to kiss everyone. With the tools and work Lyric gave us he was (mostly) a gentleman last night, and made a ton of new friends. Our friends who have been somewhat afraid to come to our house for the last few months were in awe. He was able to greet people, walk among the crowds, get snuggles and place when he was told to. We were able to enjoy our company, have food sitting out (he did get one lick of some chili) and relax. He received loads of pets and what a good boys throughout the night. Definitely a proud mama here! We will continue to use the tools, practice his work daily and look forward to having the best dog on the block. We will also be sure to hit the monthly group sessions to make sure that he/we stay on track. Thank you Stonehaven K9!

I had an awesome experience with Lyric. She’s patient, kind and very informative. She used the correct training tools and educated me on how to use them to train my crazy dog Rosie. Rosie no long pulls me on a leash and obeys my commands. This was the best decision I made. Now my dog and I’d relationship is stronger than ever. She really blew my mind with such an outstanding experience. I wish I could give her a higher rating!!!!

We sent our lab puppy for puppy/leadership program. Lyric was very professional and responsive to all questions we had. She also asked our special requests to include in his training. When we picked him up, he was a well mannered pup with a solid base to build upon. I would use her service in a heartbeat for any new puppy/dog we were to get.

I have a one year old 100# Bernedoodle and he is a love. I was looking for a trainer that would provide personalized training and I found her! Lyric made me feel comfortable in all our phone calls and with husband dropping my furbaby off (I dont think I could have done it). She posted regular updates and always provided prompt responses to my questions/comments. Her customer service is wonderful!! I now love taking my dog out with my children. Lyric saved me from endless stress and frustration!! My little man was a HANDFUL until I dropped him off with her for the Leadership Training program. I can now relax in my own home knowing hes going to listen to my commands and stay in place. After another trainer advised us to put our pit down due to aggression issues we found Lyric. In a month we had a very well trained dog that we could take out in public. Only trainer I would ever trust. Next week she gets our other pup. Can’t say enough good things about her or her services

Kola was out if control before we sent her to Lyric and we were about ready to take her back to Lee County shelter. She was a completely different dog when she came home! We now can actually take her for walks without her pulling us around and losing control! Place and crate training are the best commands! Now shes a pleasure to be around and be out with! Jeez... how do I start?? We are so thankful for all that Lyric did for us!! It was a bitter sweet experience but Lyric was the one that made things so much easier!! Our Great Dane puppy was just about a year old when she snapped and went after one of our little 7 pound dogs, leaving open wounds and needing stitches .. it was the worst experience ever!! Through a google search we found Stonehaven and immediately got our pup into the 3 week obedience training and were hopeful that things would be better. Lyric was in touch with us throughout all the phases of training, we met with her twice during that time and saw incredible changes!! She was no longer pulling on her leash... and pulling us around (big pup at over 70lbs) and she was listening to sit, stay, down. She was also interacting with other dogs during her training!! She was a different dog! After the training, Lyric was very hands on in the reintroduction to our family and the rest of our troops (5 other dogs and 4 cats). She stayed for hours with us at our home getting the ground rules down. Unfortunately, things didnt work out 😥 Our Great Dane was still VERY reactive towards our little dogs and got a hold of another small dog.... it became way too stressful for me and the rest of my family... we were traumatized and scared … so much so that we had to make a family decision for us and our other fur babies safety! I know it wasnt lack of training... because she was a really good dog after all of it... REALLY good... We just knew that she was not a good fit for our family. Lyric again came to our rescue. She has an amazing program that she offered to us and as hard as it was.... (5 months later and I STILL cry about her) we accepted! She took her in, trained with her for an additional 3 months and then found the most amazing home for her!!! I know beyond a doubt that my little angle puppy is being loved as much as I love her and always will. Lyric still sends me updates on her whenever she gets them. I am forever grateful!! Lyric is the best! Hands down. Our rescue Husky came to us with terrible resource guarding habits and a tendency to bite. After a few weeks, we knew we were in trouble. It got so bad that we were scared we might have to give up on him. Thankfully for all of us, were not the give up kind.We connected with Lyric and enrolled in the 3 week program. Im happy to report that hes a completely new dog that were grateful for.More importantly, were thankful for Lyric and would recommend her to anyone. Like I said, shes the best!

I was referred to Lyric after a horrible experience with a previous trainer (abuse of our dog). My training needs changed from basic obedience to making sure our dog would adjust back to our home with my children and other animals. Lyric was very patient and understanding of our situation. Lyric went above and beyond to work with not only both of our dogs but with my children to make sure we were creating the very best environment for our dogs to succeed.

StoneHaven K9 training transformed our puppy. We had issues with house training, mouthing, and leashing. And with the “Puppy Program”, our puppy was truly transformed! I used Lyric with StoneHaven K9 Training for my 2 dogs. Both of my dog were different situations. My male Brutus was 2 when we met Lyric. He was a rescue from Naples Humane Society. We got him when he was almost 4 months. We started working with him right away. We did in store trainings at pet stores and attempted other dog trainers and none of it was working. Brutus is a great dog, he was just hyper and could not focus...oh and walking him was miserable!I did a lot of research on Lyric and her style of training and decided it was our best fit to do a board and train. We sent Brutus to Lyric for 10 days and it was the BEST thing we could have ever done for not only us but for him.Lyric set boundaries and a foundation for Brutus as well as us. Our family life is so different now. He is a true pleasure to walk these days and a joy to be around. He finds comfort in the structure she created for us.We welcomed our 2nd dog to our family about a year ago. Her name is Sammie and she is a chocolate lab. She met Lyric when she was almost 9 months old. We decided to set Sammie up with Lyric to build a good foundation as a puppy. Also it was very helpful to get Sammie and Brutus on the same page as far as training and commands.Place is definitely our favorite thing. Once you make the best decision of you and your dogs life and work with Lyric you will totally understand this!!🐾❤🐾❤🐾

What I like best about the program is the communication of Lyric. She kept me updated everyday when my pup was with her for 2 weeks. I was nervous about the e-collar but she explained the process in detail and took her time in answering all my questions. Not only did she keep me updated while he was in her care but she checked in on us when he was home. I got relaxed and didn’t follow through on some things with his training that she taught me and I was so frustrated and reached out to her and she was ready to help me get him back on the right track and encouraged me instead of making me feel worse. She is always there to answer questions and help as much as she can. She loves what she does and she wants nothing more than to help families have a pet they can enjoy. She trains them at her home and in her home not in some facility. I love that part too!

I Highly recommend StoneHavenK9 training! Our pups foundation was completely laid with the 12 day leadership training program. I was amazed at the pup that came home. He not only respected me, but was obedient around the house and farm! Trainer kept us informed daily with messages, photos, and videos of their training seasons, so by the time our Pup came home; we too were in-tune with most commands and expectations of him. Trainer was also open to any questions I had and worked with me for an extended time when I picked up our pup on day 12.Even after being home, I can count on StoneHavenK9 training for questions and advice. I am so glad we went with StoneHavenK9, they did not disappoint!

0 stars. this ignorant trainer has no clue what she is talking about and gave me horrible and dangerous information regarding dog behavior. there is zero regulation in dog training and this abuser proves it. she lied to me about her methods causing my dog harm when it obviously did.

Our pit mix Cooper had attacked 3 adult males, and I mean full-on attacks — barking, biting, scratching, blood everywhere — it was horrifying! For months my husband refused to be in the same room with him since he’d been attacked twice. We were ready to give up when we found Lyric at StoneHaven K9. After 3 weeks of behavior-modification training, Cooper is so calm and well-behaved, we can’t believe it. Neighbors comment on how perfectly he heels, and he’s just a joy to be around. We’re not even afraid to let the grandkids play with him anymore! Our “pack” is finally structured the way it should be, with the humans in command. If anyone is hesitating, I will tell you it was SO worth the money to send Cooper to StoneHaven K9; he was finally transformed into the sweet, loving dog he was always meant to be.

Lyric changed everything! We got a dog from the shelter and she was uncontrollable! I hated taking her anywhere. Walks were a disaster. After spending the 2 weeks with Lyric, we noticed an immediate difference for the better. She stopped begging for food and jumping on us. After working with her more, walks now are a pleasure most of the time. If it wasnt for Lyrics training, I would have taken the dog back to the county!!

All I asked was can I come out to their place and see it plus see her work with my dog before I board and train my $5000 1 yr old fragile French bulldog.!!! If You can’t be respectful through a Facebook message you sure are not getting a penny from nor would I trust you with my dog.Attitude is everything in a caretakong field. I just couldn’t believe the rudeness it blew me away. I only let top rated people take care of my dogs.! I can pay her class prices over and over with not a flinch.!However not worth it if the first response gives you a bad taste in your mouth.!I wish I could upload the screenshot. Lyric is an amazing dog trainer. She took my rottweiler from an angry and very scary dog to the most lovable house pet that Ive ever had. I dont know how they do it but my dog is perfect around just about anybody now including children!

Lyric is the OG dog whisperer! I have never seen someone have such natural instincts with all types of breeds of dogs. I took my Dobie to StonveHaven K9 for her week long puppy boot-camp class. With just a week of training at Lyrics, my once devilish doberman pup, came back a well mannered lady. I will definitely be coming back for off leash training. Stonehaven K9 is hands down the best dog training facility I have encountered in SWFL. I should have brought my dog here from the start!My dog, Kona, had been to Lyric for a few days of basic training when she was a puppy, but returned back months later for reactive training. Kona had issues with reactivity towards things that moved faster than her, men, front door manners and a few other things. It had gotten to the point where I was nervous to walk her outside in fear of seeing someone riding a bicycle.Even after two weeks of being in the rehab program with Lyric, I could already see a drastic difference in Kona. She was so well behaved; no barking at men, pulling on her leash or ignoring commands. By the time Kona came home, I was blown away by the results. Her behavior has been a complete 180-degree turn around!I highly recommend Stonehaven K9 for any and all of your canine needs - especially their reactive dog rehab program. It is worth every single penny! Not only is the program fantastic, but Lyric, the owner and trainer, is such a sweet woman and will work with you on a laundry list of items for as long as needed.Dont waste your money on other training programs; save yourself the hassle and go straight to the best!

Was going to call about the behavior modification for my duck rolling retriever as he classes until I saw the price. 2000 for 3 weeks of training no thank you what credentials does this business have to be charging 2000
