I was very impressed with the doctor and staff at Lehi Vision Care. Dr Pickering was fantastic at educating me on what was going on with my eyes, and recommended bifocal contact lenses which I have LOVED! I am so happy he walked me through the options and helped me with that. He is also very involved in humanitarian trips, which I think is just awesome! I am happy to support someone that does so much for others in need. Definitely recommend this office to others.

Had high hopes for this clinic but that fell short the moment they got my insurance information.Very poor communication between the various receptionists… I was told one thing, then shortly after I am told something completely contradictory to that previous information. It’s been a nightmare to do something as simple as getting a routine exam and contact lenses.Heaven forbid they call my insurance directly like every other clinic and medical office when there’s a billing issue or question. We will not be going there again.

Lehi Vision Care was awesome to work with these past few weeks. I had not used my vision plan in 2020 and was also running out of time to use my limited purpose HSA plan. I contacted Lehi Vision Care and they quickly scheduled an appointment for me and they were outstanding throughout the entire process, including the exam, picking out the frames and the claim processing. I dont wear glasses and only go get my annual eye exam. The assistant who took me through a series of different tests was so sweet. She explained each test, what I could expect, and was helpful in answering any questions that I had. My actual visit with the doctor was brief, less than 3 minutes. He said I could get study glasses if I wanted to but my eyes were well enough that I did not need them.

Dr. Pickering is very on top of his game. He was able to clearly and concisely tell me what was going on with my eyes. The staff is very friendly and willing to work to with you. I will definitely be coming back.

I can’t say enough good things about Lehi Vision Care and Dr Pickering. After going to another popular optometrist in Lehi, we were a bit jaded by high costs and a glum diagnosis. Dr Pickering was able to give us better information and a drastically better price. We have had a few mishaps with ordering glasses and contacts, but they staff has made every effort to fix the problem and compensate us generously for the delays. I have been doing business with Lehi Vision for the last five years. I have four of six in glasses. I go there for many reasons. I think that the very nature of reviews is generally negative. While we all make mistakes, it is what we do after that makes us professional. I can not imagine a couple of the posts that are here but I believe that there are some people that you simply can not satisfy. In my dealings I have done emergency orders of contacts shipped out of state, repairs on glasses, reorders on glasses (we like to lose them) eye exams and the entire spectrum of what could be expected. We have never had a bad experience. We have always been treated as I would expect. I think the odds are that a couple of people were just complainers. My favorite story is that a pair of my glasses broke and he had the manufacture call me. Based on that level of service I am a faithful customer.

Loved how they took care of me but I’ve been waiting 2 weeks to get a sample contacts for my left eye since they didn’t have my prescription. They promised it would take one day, not sure why it’s taking two weeks. I also was interested in doing lasik but found out I’m a candidate for PRK, maybe they didn’t care much because of that? No clue, I’ve called 3-4 time and nothing, the reason I was recommended coming here instead of eye care of lehi was because they making sure you have the right prescription. That’s not the case so far.

This doctor is double billing insurances. I gave them my Vision insurance info to have it billed for the eye exam and a month later I get notified by my HEALTH insurance that they paid a claim! Well, I never gave them my health insurance information. Hmm. Then when I called the doctor to ask what happened, they offered to retract the claim (and they did). I wonder how many more times he has been double paid by both a health and vision plans?? Wow. Talk about ethics.

The doctor is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The selection of glasses is fairly good. They are not overly expensive glasses. I have multiple pairs now that have lasted 3-4 years.

The good:-Everyone was nice enough. No one was outwardly rude.The bad:-Way more expensive than going elsewhere. My husband initially went here to buy sunglasses, but they tried to charge a whole bunch in extra fees, including some that no one could explain to us what they were actually for. He went to Lenscrafters and got the exact same pair for $100 less. I did end up getting two pairs of glasses from them on the spot after my eye exam, but did research after and realized I had overpaid.-I ordered a pair of glasses and a pair of prescription sunglasses. When they came in, I knew something was wrong. I was rushed out of the office and told to come back if they still didnt work in 7-10 days. I told them I was leaving the country in 5 days and would be gone for three weeks, but they were confident that my eyes just needed adjusting.I didnt even bother taking the glasses on my trip. When I got back, I took the glasses back in. it turns out the dr had sent the wrong prescription to the lab. They took both pairs back and told me it would be a week at the most. While the glasses came back in 6 days, I waited almost two weeks for the sunglasses.-So, it took almost 7 weeks total, 5 different trips to the office, two eye exams, and approximately $200 more than other places, but I finally have a pair of glasses and sunglasses that I can see through. Needless to say, I think we will be finding a different optometrist for the future.Also, just a side note, they have a sign up in their office offering gift cards to patients who give them good reviews online. Some of the 5 star reviews may have been earned, but just keep that in mind when reading other reviews.
