Simply love Dr. Mei Firestone, she is so kind to me and answers all my questions. Having Breast Cancer is enough on my plate -- she helps me carry this heavy load. My Family thanks her every time they see her. Happy Patient Happy Family. Wonderful Staff they always put a smile on my face.

I have cancer. It’s a bad one, not the kind they can treat locally, although there are medications that can help with symptoms. In my case, I’m inclined to account for most of my problems with Dr. Firestone as administrative. Each step along the way, I had to follow up with them and then my husband followed up with them, working on my behalf. Terrified and fighting depression, interactions with Dr. Firestone and staff were chilly at best and baldly scathing when I asked for information. There’s really nothing worse than delays when you truly don’t have long to live. When I brought these issues to the attention of Dr. Firestone, she blamed insurance and even myself as the cause for the delays. There are too many individual instances to go into, but during my time with her, I observed her staff and their interactions and they are a fundamentally unhappy group of people. In my opinion, that daily unsatisfying environment probably contributes to the disrespectful way that patients get treated. I know that it’s not just me because I can hear conversations that the front desk has with in-office patients as well as patients who call. Also, subsequent doctors have not received records from her office..

Dr.Firestone might be knowledgeable in her field, but she flat out lied about a treatment that she personally reassured me she would “fight” to get covered for me through my insurance. Her staff even took a good few weeks to schedule me under the disguise of making sure my insurance covered the treatment only for me to get a $2000+ bill for it. Had I known I was being lied to, I would have never gone through with getting the treatment and would definitely NOT this practice.

Took the time to explain all details about my cancer diagnosis in a very understandable way. Very knowledgeable. Always encourages questions and answers thoroughly.

What an awful experience. My appointment was canceled and rescheduled at their convenience, incompetent staff, very arrogant nurse. I would not see her again.
