I attempted to set an appointment as a new patient. They took my insurance information and told me they had to verify the network and theyd let me know in a day or two if they could get me in as a new patient, which was fine. Today I get a call and they tell me they arent in network with my plan.Its United Healthcare Oxford, a large employer/group plan that is, in fact, in network with them. Apparently their billing person doesnt know how to do her job properly when it comes to verifying benefits. A simple phone call to the carrier would have sufficed.And yes, I am a licensed health insurance agent. I know EXACTLY how this is supposed to work.Im better off going to another medical practice.

Dr. Ankoh is caring and will follow up and telephone to inquire on his patients progress. I enjoy knowing that if I have a medical issue I can put my trust with Dr. Ankoh. Want to tell well then Dr. Ankoh is the doctor to choose.

I love my doctor. He is the best and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. My entire family gets seen by Dr. Ankoh. He is always there for his patients and very patient and actually listens to what you have to say. He is very thorough and detailed when it comes to care. Love him

I love Dr. Ankoh!!! He was my father and my father in laws physician before they both passed away. He now looks after my mom, my mother in law, my husband, and I. Hes very personable and he cares deeply for his patients. The wait is sometimes pretty long, but its worth it! He makes sure you get the care that you deserve and he doesnt rush you out like other physicians. He cares about what you have to say and makes sure that you understand his orders for you before he leaves out of the room.

Dr. Ankoh is the very best MD. He explains everything well & takes his time to answer any questions you may have. I have referred several people to him. All had positive feedback.

Dr. Ankoh is friendly and very thorough...he does not make you feel like you are a part of an assembly line. As my fathers primary care giver, I was able to see first hand the great care he gave him.... My father passed in 2012. So upon retirement, it was ano-brainer to choose Dr. Ankoh as my primary physician also and to my surprise he remembered my father and even asked me about my sibling. There is the average patient wait time...but the wait is worth it. Great staff!

Office staff did not say there would be a wait or doctor was running late and were very unprofessional, manager very rude and nasty. This has nothing to do with patient care either, its just a doctor worried more about money than patients. If the opposite were true, people wouldnt be scheduled like this. Other people in the waiting area said they had been there for several hours. Unbelievably disappointed and very angry.

Recommended by Dr Kenneth Sampong, my cardiologist, dr Peter Ankoh has been my Primary Care doctor since 2009. Dr Ankoh has seen me through many medical problems with superior skill and a wonderful bedside manner. Other than an extraordinary wait on occasion, He has my highest recommendation.
