Heritage Internal Medicine has for a long time been the place for my family for primary care. The doctor is an outstanding doctor of internal medicine. Everything from the staff, to the feel you get going into the office, is warm and inviting. The doctor is worth going out of network as she has solved some really complex issue my wife had a few years back. She continues to be extremely personable and knowledgeable. Dr. DeRusso recently helped us again with and really went above and beyond and took so much of her time to get to the bottom of the issue. We feel very lucky to have found her and finally decided to write a review for her. Cant say enough good things about her and her staff. Thanks so much.

Heritage Internal Medicine, Dr. DeRusso, and the staff are Outstanding! Great experience. Excellent staff. The doc is highly knowledgeable and very friendly. She is extraordinarily compassionate and always up on the newest research. Before going to Heritage Internal Medicine, Ive been sick for a very long time with chronic and undiagnosed problems. Dr. D figured out what was wrong with me in a short period of time. I am happy to say, I have my life (and more) back again thanks to her!

My family and I have been patients of Dr. D for years. She is a talented doctor and a very special person. We can talk to her about anything. She is very caring and concerned about your problems. She takes the time to ask questions and explain her thoughts. She is a primary care doctor to many doctors (where the doctors go) which speaks volumes of her care. I have been a patient of Dr. De Russos for over a decade. I cannot begin to express my satisfaction with her and her staff over the years. Each and every one of them is always courteous, helpful, professional, and make me as comfortable as possible. Often times there is a wait, but I know she is an excellent doctor and cares for many sick patients without pause. I am understanding that I may need to wait and many times it is random and unpredictable who is before my appointment and needing extra time with the doctor- like any illness in life. Incredible doctor. I was first recommended to the good doctor by a coworker who said Dr. DeRusso loves a medical challenge the most. He said that she can simulate so many confusing moving parts in a persons medical history all at once and begin the medical puzzle of figuring out what is wrong. I realized this when I met her. She is a very radiant, delightful, and confident doctor. After giving up hope that my life was never going to be normal again, when I eventually went to her, she genuinely listened and cared. She concisely figured out what had been going on with me for so long and began to help me. It was a miracle. I have hope and health again. She is more than just a doctor, she is an angel.

Dr. DeRusso and her staff at Heritage Internal Medicine is actually almost always a fun experience. Even though I sometimes have to wait they are all very apologetic. I like coming to her because she is very good and thinks like I do. She is brilliant. She tries to eliminate or minimize medicine if she can. She is quick thinking, and great at explaining things and I can always trust her opinion. Plus, I really like her sense of humor. She is great at remembering everything about my medical history and always keeping up with reminding me of what I need to do to stay healthy. Definitely one of the most comfortable doctors and staff that I have ever been around.

Awesome Primary Care Doctor. She has an awesome personality, easy to talk to, and her staff is very sweet. She does tend to run behind a little but that is because she is busy with a large number of patients who must adore her like we do. Im not even sure I would go to a doctor who wasnt in such high demand. She is the best internist around.

I have been with Heritage Internal Medicine and Dr. D for over 10 years. Dr. DeRusso and her staff continue to far exceed my expectations in ensuring my good health. The doctor is very caring and through. She spends time with you and listens and works hard to help you. She and her staff have the best bedside manner of any medical office that Ive ever seen. I am very disappointed in the service that was provided here. I showed up on time to my appointment and I was there for 2 hours in total and never got to see the Doctor. I was told twice that the doctor would be in to see me in a few minutes and 30 min went by and still no sign of the doctor so I made the decision to leave. They gave me a refund of my co-pay. I saw they had only one doctor working and if that was the case it would have been nice for them to inform me that it was going to take longer than normal because of that circumstance, but they never mentioned anything. It was the most unprofessional doctors office I have visited.

This doctor is exceptional! She goes above and beyond to help and figure out why you are ill. She is also very much into prevention medicine-- to make sure you understand what you should do so you do not have future health risks. Dr. Derusso is my doctor for years. I have always known that she is so good at what she does that she doesnt need to take any insurance to stay uber busy. She only participates with one health insurance. I, like most, do not have that one but I pay because I know she is worth it.I always know I am in great hands with the doctor. She is not only an exceptional doc but her compassion and interest are second to none. She is complete with everything. I always know I am well cared for and in excellent hands. How many doctors offices ALWAYS call you back with EVERY report and lab test done and then advise with results? And anytime I call for ANYTHING, I receive word back on how to proceed from a helpful and caring staff member within hours that same day!If I am ill and must be seen, they ALWAYS find room to get me in to be seen THAT DAY--not 2 days later... And every time I have had bloodwork done or a procedure at her office, they have the courtesy and care to offer me bottled water and snacks! That is quality service and care!I might not be alive if Dr. Derusso had not made some of the decisions and care for me as she has over the years. Thank you Heritage Internal Medicine for the best care ever over the years!

We love Dr. DeRusso and Heritage Internal Medicine. Dr. DeRusso is out of my insurance plan but knowing what I know from years of experience with Dr. D and with other primary care physicians, I wouldnt think twice about seeing her. I had dizziness and headaches for years. We went to doctors in our network to try to save money, but I wasnt getting better. I finally decided I needed to go back to her to see if she could help me because I wasnt really able to do anything or enjoy my life with my family. Dr. DeRusso spent time with me and gave me a thorough review and exam. After only 2 visits, I was off half my medications and my problems were gone. I plan on being off of all of them soon as I am active again and can keep up with my family again. My friends and I have known Dr. D for years. She really wants to help you and has a way of very closely listening to you and then pinpointing the exact problem. My family and I all love her because we know that she is a very caring doctor and person. I cant say enough good things about her. She is the best.
