They took care of all the details quickly, saving me from a prolonged waiting period. Additionally, they did not try to up-sell me, allowing me to select the items I wanted and respected my choices. They were so kind & patient, walked me through the whole process & helped me make decisions. We called several funeral homes during the recent surge in coronavirus. Response from three was negligible. Colonial was the fourth call and they responded immediately and on the phone. We had a very pleasant conversation and a web link was sent and from then on it was easy to fill out the form and also very easy to pay the bill. They have been responsive in the extreme, kind, attentive and have taken care of every detail. I highly recommend them.

They treated my fathers remains with great dignity. Their prices are competitive, and they are locally owned. I used their preplanning service for cremation, and it relieved the stress of what to do at the time of a dear ones passing.

I appreciated the way he moved us along to complete the difficult tasks that needed to be done. Even after arrangements were made Darrell and his Team made sure everything went well and professionally. Then, other members of the Team stepped up to be there fore me and for our family and friends. Troy was one of those people who made sure all was well for all of us.

I had to deal with the death of a loved one in April at an assisted living facility in the middle of the lockdown. The folks at Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg provided immediate (I called them at 5 AM!), kind, considerate support. They assisted me in everything I needed to arrange for transportation and cremation and were very patient and supportive when there were delays in getting needed information from an out-of-town executor. Throughout the entire process they made me aware of choices I could make that would minimize expenses. There was no hard sell for a more expensive coffin or service. I highly recommend them as professional, caring, respectful service providers.

During a difficult time, they were so kind, supportive, understanding and helpful. Many other people that we had to deal with were rude and hurtful but each time I had to call in, I received warmth and kindness. They made a difficult time more manageable.

The Walley family were very helpful and understanding. Our loved one was taken to a different Funeral Home which didnt give the same sense of caring. What we wanted was a simple cremation with no other services. The other place wanted 3 times as much as Colonial Funeral asked for to do the same services. There were a lot of little logistics behind the death of my wife. We needed to get her back to New Jersey to be buried when she passed out of state, and other details I didnt realize would be necessary. Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg handled it all beautifully.

Colonial funeral home is far and above any other funeral home I have dealt with. Since I moved out to Loudoun County it was important to find someone who would be willing to drive and handle a service at Arlington National Cemetery. Greg Walley made it easy to make decisions during this difficult time. He had suggestions when we needed to meet certain criteria for Arlington Cemetery. He went above and beyond by offering a viewing for the family to say goodbye shortly after my mother’s death and worked with us for a date within 10 days in order to allow time for a grandchild to arrive from deployment. There were many details needed for the military funeral and everyone on staff there communicated to me and guided me with a lot of the decision-making and I found the experience stress free. In a sense they “held my hand“ through the whole experience and it was truly comforting!
