The personal care I have received as a pastors wife from this team of amazing people has been some of the most wonderful, precious care I can ever remember. I truly feel like they have compassion for my soul. Because of the privacy, the sensitivity, the wisdom, and the love they approach everything with, it has even helped me in having greater wisdom in how I deal with things in my own ministry. Everyone who is in the pastoral role tends to feel alone, especially the pastors wife. Every pastors wife needs a confidential shoulder to cry on, and this organization provides that. My husband and I have been married and in ministry for over 14 years. I love working in ministry with him. Ministry has its challenges and ministry hurt really brought me to a place of hopelessness. Over the years, I let hurts build up and that really left an impact. I am thankful beyond and words to say how valuable it was to have an empathetic and confidential ear. We received truth, encouragement, prayer, and insight that helped to keep our trust in Christ and to trust Him to heal us of our hurts. Before we started talking to Ron I really was so frustrated, anxious and hurt that I would have panic attacks quite often. This was the first time in my life that I had experienced panic attacks. It was a wake up call that I needed help and counseling to stop burying my hurt. I havent had a panic attack in months and I believe that processing through the hurt with a trusted person who was outside of the situation was so key for me. The support group that Rodetta leads is equally helpful, as it provides a place of empathy, caring and confidentiality.

Very thankful to have found this ministry! What a blessing it has been to me and my husband. The support I have received here has been a “huge hug” to my heart and I am grateful for it!

Care for Pastors has been with us through many HARD things, both church related and personal. Ron and Rodetta are amazing. We met them when our church was going through a valley experience. Ron became our interim pastor for about 18 months. During this time Ron and Rodetta provided counseling services to our church family and to us. I do not believe you will ever find a more caring loving couple. Ron and Rodetta continue to reach out to us to see how we are doing and to see how they can pray. We love Ron and Rodetta.
