They denied me to take care of my younger sister (9 years old);Two days ago, August 23 of 2021, my mom had a rescheduled appointment at 4:15 pm at the HealthWorks Northern Virginia center in Leesburg.She arrived at the establishment (front desk) at 4:16 pm, and while they asked her what she was taking my daughter for, about 15 minutes passed away. She informed them that time is running out and that her delay was that she could not find a parking space in said establishment.Well, at reception they informed her that they could not assist my sister since my mom did not indicate an exact reason why they were visiting. It is worth mentioning that as a mother she always tries to have me and my siblings go through a Doctor so that he can see how our growth control is going and even more knowing that classes were starting; to which they told me that if my sister is fine, the doctor did not have to take care of her, and they wanted my mom to tell them what exactly she wanted them to check on her? It seemed like a question out of context to me, because if you take a patient to an establishment like this, it is to be examined, that is why she requested the appointment with some time in advance and she even had to rescheduled it because in a previous appointment the Doctor was not available. MY SISTER WAS DENIED CARE, to which my sister was very excited for her check-up and she felt sorry to see this incident.After expressing her discomfort to the Health personnel about this incident, they told her that they can make another appointment to care for my sister. My question is if they did not want to take care of my sister at that time, why do they wanted me to make another appointment? To be treated in the same way or possibly to be denied care again?

The receptionist at the dental clinic. very bad attention I think they should hire friendly and social people because one who wears glasses that is in the front desk receives people in a very bad way and with disgust I simply approached in the most polite way to ask if I had an appointment available because they program them and cancel them and it came out very spoiled I hope someone responsible read this comment and take action on the matter.thank you.

Great Telehealth appointment. I did right from my phone and I was able to get my kids to their school on time. It was rushed, but then again having kids in the background was probably very distracting. I was able to pick up my prescription on the way home from dropping off my sons.

Dr. Hunt was wonderful and took care of all my needs. She was patient and the help I received for a tv visit from the caring staff answering the phone to the IT that was called on lunch break, he tried to hide it (eat young man!) all so I could I see Dr hunt. Really appreciated it all. Than k you !

Portal admin (Justin or Jessie?) was great! Have been coming to this institute for years, and my healthcare needs were always taken care of, but the service like many other clinics could always use work. Ever since the pandemic I have come to depend on all the web access, so this area was something I definitely needed to have. I had an issue with my appointment not showing, and he got back to me right away and corrected my problem the same day, which has never been the case with anything web related. This is what web service should be

We’ve called so many times and left voicemails asking for refills. They called me at the wrong time and I answered and told them I couldn’t talk, this one lady said if you can’t talk right now then you’ll have to wait till Monday. They had finally returned my call but it was on New Year’s Eve. The lady was very rude. The medicine I asked for was for my health. I also tried scheduling an appointment and they wanted to put me with another doctor, there’s no other doctor I trust and nor knows how my health is. I’m not going to tell another doctor my issues. I will be speaking with my doctor personally about this.

Wonderful experience. Was able to see my doctor with one-touch text message and boom! Right there we were talking. They were able to take pictures of my sons rash, prescribe meds, and then a week later compare how the rash was progressing from the beginning. Also, it is great that you only need one login to their portal it can be your two kids, spouse, and even your own grandfather that is easily accessible all at once. This is especially true when you have twins to take care while to keep the usual. Overall between the ease to check in and see all my family members medical history at the drop of a dime

I hate their management. We had appointment at 5 and we were there at 5:11 (assuming 15 minutes window). It was rush hour as well but they refused to take us and we ended up getting appointment one month late. Health places are supposed to be helpful instead of making others life hard. “Policy is never more important than Humanity”. I ll never go there again.

Great place to bring our first born, we didn’t know where to go and we found out that Healthworks helps people without insurance. We love our doctor and appreciate everything they do for families like ours. Keep up the great work!

This place is horrible. The reviews are so accurate. I wish I read them prior to staying with them for a year and a half. They just have 1 good doctor and it’s not even worth to coordinate an appointment with their horrendous front desk staff. Everyone at the front desk is horrible and unhelpful. They never answer the phones. They are just in it for money and won’t care about your kids. The place is a dump too.

Great Service, once I walked through the door. Most (if not all) staff members area bilingual, which really shows their commitment to knowing their population and trying everything they can to serve them better. I also enjoyed their use of the patient portal and automated text messages where I can confirm my appointments right over a text. I also know the phone system could use some work, but using the patient portal to message them worked much faster and received information quite quickly. I was also able to print out my doctors note right from there. Overall, a great institution with a great goal in mind which especially appreciated in these trying times of healthcare

Noone answers the phone. I was in the dental office 2 weeks ago & there were 2 people at the desk. Neither answering the phone. I put a request in online for an appointment 3 days ago and didnt get a call back. When I tried to call to schedule at 3:40 in the afternoon I got voicemail. When I tried calling to schedule a sicks appointment for my daughter on the medical side I also got a voicemail. They seem over-staffed at the desks for this to be happening. It is very disappointing!

I have been using medical and dental health care here for 2-3 years.I began the process with no insurance coverage and I felt the prices I were to pay were reasonable. Later I obtained a Medicaid plan.First provider was just fantastic. She moved and I was “placed” with a dr I didn’t choose. BUT after my first visit we didn’t click at all and I requested another. It worked out fine.I haven’t had many issues with front desk staff I often get answers and sometimes voicemail.The worst is the nurse line. Never has been answered. Always voice mail. Return calls from nurse line has been a bit better.Overall I really do love my care here. Nurses and providers. I have seen two nurse practitioners here who are great.(I also have numerous health conditions).Hoping others get better results with a few more tries!

This place is a joke. They give a 10 minute grace period for being late. I was told to please wait a second while she set up her computer. (First thing this morning) And then she needed my ID and insurance info, afterwards she sends me upstairs and the Dr refuses to see me since I was checked in 3 minutes past the grace period. Seriously. So basically I got my 4 week old up and brought her out to rush to this place for them to turn us away. Never again will we waste our time.

On Dec. 27 2016, took my step son to refill his meds. When I came across the nastiest doctor I have ever met. As my fiance is trying to explain something to her she flat out says I dont care. Im not your kids doctor, your is in vacation. This place is very unprofessional in since of the word. I had to walk out of the room before I lost my temper. Giving this place 1 star is way to much. I come from a long family of doctors and nurses and that was the time I have ever seen such disrespect. Gene Price is her name. I will not give her the respect of calling her a doctor. Dont bring your child here.

Dont bother. Six calls, two messages, one transfer from a human to the office manager who was supposed to pick up but guess what...voicemail. 48 hours and no return calls. These people just cant be bothered with answering the phone or calling back. Clearly their management is broken!

They just want your money. I had scheduled and appointment for eczema and asthma with Jean Price-Kagan and she gave me all the asthma meds I needed but when I addressed her on the fact that she didn’t write a prescription for the eczema she said I needed to schedule an appointment that they can’t treat everything in one visit. Excuse me? What are you paid for then? Do your job, terrible medical care from her as a health care professional. ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY NOT TO BETTER YOUR HEALTH.

I never do reviews but the people who work here are so rude. The nurses/doctors are very kind. The people You have to encounter at check in are the reason why im switching doctors.They are rude to children and they never answer their phone calls. This place needs to hire older and more educated people. It seems like immature people are taking over the check in area.

This place is a JOKE. Had a dental appt scheduled for April 4, 2017. Two days before my appointment they called to cancel because their xray machine was broken. They couldnt reschedule my appt until they had it fixed. Over a month later they called to reschedule. My appt was for July 14, 2017 (tomorrow). I just received a call from the cancelling my appointment again. They said the appointment before mine would be taking a long time and even tho Ive been waiting (in pain) since April, they were cancelling mine, not the other persons. THIS IS B.S.

The worst customer service I ever experienced is this place 👎I tried to make appointment over the phone they put me on hold for ever 20 minutes more than 3 times and after all that wait they hung up on me👎 when I went to the office in person the receptionist was so rude . They cancelled my father appointments by saying that the doctor is in vacation and told me to take your father to ER . It looks like no one is there to take care of your issue very unprofessional works😢

Literally the shittiest office. No one answers phones, no one listens to guidelines for your child, they break the law. Awful. My kids will never go back. In fact I may seek legal council for all the things that have happened and things theyve ignored.

Laboratory tests are very expensive, I paid 44 dollars, which here in Reston at the same clinic I pay 22 dollars and in Herndon they cost 10 dollars ☹️

Unfortunately I thought it was a good place to take my daughter, after being almost an hour waiting and talking with the nurse about what was the reason for my appointment, the doctor arrives and tells me what is the reason for my visit again and I said as for the tenth time I was coming because my daughter needs her flu vaccine and she responds but we dont have it .... what thing ?? And so far tell me ??? .... it is a shame, unfair do not waste time on this site and now who returns my money .....
