Im surprised to see these negative reviews because I have nothing but positive things to say about the folks at Hands On. From Steve, Lindsey, Jackie, and Maggie in the office down to the caregivers that visit my 89 year old Mom on a daily basis, they all care for my Mother like shes one of the family. My brother, who lives with my Mom is experiencing severe health challenges and can no longer adequately care for her. Many times this necessitates last minute scheduling changes, and both the flexibility and responsiveness from the office have rescued me on many occasions while assuring the quality care that Mom needs to remain safely in her home. Its difficult living more than 2500 miles from home and finding peace of mind. Hands On and their wonderful staff have given me that.

So they are lucky to even get one star out of me... Very unprofessional. I was asked to give a month schedule and I said so will I definitely be put on schedule with what I gave you, I was told yes. I only received two days after giving them a full month of open availability. I was told I could take a picture of my time slips and send them in, well they decided to tell me the day of that slips was due that I couldnt do that. Definitely not a good place, the facilities you are sent to are rude and unprofessional working here my two days was definitely a complete waste of time. Whatever you do keep looking DO NOT WORK FOR THEM

I work for Hands on Nursing, and am proud and honored to be a member of such a high quality staff, as well as caring agency. I was one of those who said shed never work for a home care company, but i am glad I choose Hands on Nursing. Its not just another agency, you know your run of the mill types. They really care about there clients, are professional, kind and considerate, and the best company in town. Hats off to you Hands on, for doing what most agencys dont, do the job, do it right, and allowed me to be apart of such a wonderful team. ........Lisa Pastal

Very rude office personnel. I have called here to find out some information only to be hung up on several times. Same day My daughter called and had been hung up on also, twice. I dont know why these people are so rude, they wont answer any questions. I definitely do not recommend this company.

Very dissatisfied with the lack of professionalism of the visiting nurse who is actually only a student.1) Starts Inappropriate conversations (about wills, mortgages, etc. ) which can be leading to an elderly person to offer money.2) She sits there and pets a dog vs seeing that the floors could use a good swifter clean or the bathroom counter could use a wipe down.3) Doesnt show up when scheduled & has brought her own mother to the house on the weekend to visit.4) Inserts herself in personal family matters/discussions/family members visiting.5) Does NOT check if medicine has been taken for the day. Patient went 2 days without taking meds due to low oxygen. Didnt even check it the tubing in the oxygen was even working!6) Offers medical advice (have you tried acupuncture cause thats what I do) when she is NOT in a position to give medical advice. Causes conflicts & confusion with the doctors orders. Cause she knows better cause this is what i learned in class. fyi: When you become a doctor ONLY THEN give advice.7) Has the patient sign the list of things she has done for the day when she firsts arrives and then doesnt actually DO ANYTHING on the list.Area for Aging uses Hands-On Nursing for these services, and Area for Aging needs to revisit their sub-consultant to get their act together or find another agency to perform these services for the County.

I worked one day .was supposed to get my schedule on a certain day didnt get it .. When called about got told the person will call when schedule is done. I need hours now not later .and i had to do a months worth of available for a schedule .
