Im writing this review as a fellow dentist who has had the experience of Dr.Knipe treating my patient under emergency conditions. Dr. Knipe was not only extremely skillful and kind, but he went above and beyond what even the most dedicated of clinicians would have done. In my thirty years of practing dentistry, I have rarely come across such a high level of commitment to patient care.

I was at Dr Knipe’s office on Tuesday, August the 10th, 2021. The staff was very nice, they did put me a little at ease. However, Dr Knipe is an awesome dentist ! He was very friendly, we talked about what needed to be done and in a few minutes I was finished. He pulled a broken tooth and got it in one piece.I would definitely recommend him !! And just as important is the fact I had NO PAIN when the shot wore off !!

Dr. Knipe is an excellent oral surgeon. I’ve been to him a few times. He may not be the most comforting doctor, and some people might take that the wrong way, but he was very quick and he knows what he’s doing. I was extremely anxious but he reassured me and got it over with quickly. His office is very clean and the entire staff were nice.

For a tooth extraction appointment, Dr. Kenneth Knipe and his entire staff are competent and professional in every way. I am sensitive to gum pain (Novocaine injections included), yet I was extremely pleased with my visit, and I highly recommend Dr. Knipe at Hershey Oral Surgery Associates. :)

I found the office clean, comfortable and very organized. Dr. Knipe and his assistant were solidly professional in approach and did a great job with no nonsensense and proper concern. The office followed up to make sure I was doing well. Should need arise, I would return without hesitation.

He was extremely unprofessional. Very hands on and aggressive. Honestly if my father was in the room. He would have said something because he WAS NOT being professional. All I came for was an extraction and was ridiculed the whole time and was talked down to about having anxiety. It was an all around terrible experience. I will be reporting this to the Pennsylvania State Board. There is absolutely no reason to be hold down your female patients when they aren’t resisting.

My husband Adam Sch. Had quite a few extractions done by Dr. Knipe. Every single time he was excellent and the recovery process was easy every time. He’s an excellent Dr. and person in general. Thank You Dr. KnipeAlso, he has never been rude or disrespectful at all he has allowed me and our 2 year old to go back with hubby when he had 8 teeth removed! We have had horrible dental experiences but every experience with doctor knipe has been amazing.

DO NOT GO TO THIS MAN! My 85 year old grandmother went here to have a tooth pulled, and he ripped out her wisdom tooth as well with no warning, no consent, and NO NOVOCAINE. The wisdom tooth had no problems other than that it was, and I quote, “in his way”. Do not go here unless you want to loose more teeth than you need to, and have an extraordinarily painful experience.

I get high anxiety, Dr. Knipe would not allow a family member in the room with me during a simple extraction. He was forceful while trying to put my head back, and made the comment I do not do show and tell as he would not allow my own mother in the room during a novocaine procedure. The nurse was rude, and I walked out. I will not trust this man or his place of business, as he and his staff made me very uncomfortable and upset.

As others stated the guy is very rude and yes quite forceful as if it’s an anger thing .. when I called ahead I was told an x ray was included in price or atleast I thought so but BETH has some major issues not being able to listen then to find out the price tripled what I was told partially because the x ray is separate ( they knew they were going to take one anyway , so don’t know why the confusion ) and all a sudden my wisdom tooth price doubled because of the position but still took less than 15 minute ... quoted price went from 150 to 500 ... but honestly worse than that is the guys attitude and beths as well . I simply asked AFTER I PAID IN CASH not like I can make a claimOr anything about that I thought it was included and she blew up like an animal saying I just don’t wanna pay my bill that I already had paid in full . Talk about putting words in people’s mouths . How dare she . Never again.

Dr. Knipe removed my wisdom teeth 10 years ago. I instantly knew something was not right with my lower left side the day after my surgery. Half my tongue was still number and burning, and shooting with pain. When I went back for the follow up a week or so later I told him about this and that I was worried. He said oh itll take time dont worry could take a couple weeks. I let it go for a couple of weeks, and in immense amount of daily pain. Several weeks later it was still the same to no improvement. I called his office worried, terrified.. explaining this situation was still happening. I made an appointment he told me its normal it could take 6 months to a year to come back. He said give it a year to heal. So for a a year i waited. Still nothing changed. I developed major anxiety disorder, and was in constant chronic daily pain. I went to University of Penn after a year and a couple months because i felt like Dr. Knipe just did not care what had happened to me. When I saw the oral surgeon at Penn, basically they stated nerve repairing should of happened in the first 3-4 months. NOT ONCE did Dr. Knipe recommend anything other then waiting for a year. And guess what here I am 10 years later- still suffer with pain every day, have no feeling in half of my tongue or left bottom jaw. I have chronic pain in my jaw and tongue, and have severe anxiety. A good doctor and dentist follows up, and cares about their patients.. if Dr. Knipe would of listened to me and took that EXTRA step in patient care I may have been able to get my nerve repaired. But I will now live for the rest of my life with this, every oral surgeon Ive seen sense said they have never had a patient go through this and they were unbelievably sorry for my experience. JUST MAKE SURE you research your oral surgeons before getting your wisdom teeth removed, KNOW your risks, and ask about your nerves and the risks on the xrays- also make sure if you do know something is wrong after you have a doctor who goes to bat for you and finds your the absolute BEST CARE cause every patient should be worth it.

My mouth a lot to due with taking medicine for a long time that was hard on teeth was like building a home in quick sand, had 9 cavities, at last checkup, 3 would have to be extracted. Two fell apart in just a couple days, had to expedite the removal, Dr. Knipe, saw me in 24 hours for a consultation, from the young lady at the front desk to the D.D.S., everyone was friendly, and showed a genuine concern.
