I had been going to Birchwood for over 4 years. My first year of care was pretty great. I felt like all of the work that was done was needed and was done well. However, over the last year, the care I have received has been poor to say it kindly. I was told I needed my cap replaced, but that process was started before she evaluated the x-ray that was taken before the removal. After evaluation, I now needed a root canal retreatment. That whole process was supposed to take 6 weeks and I had to reschedule the same appointment 7 times (that is not an exaggeration) before finally going in. However I thought I was going in to have my permanent crown placed, but actually, no, they never took an impression to get the crown made. So we do that, then they have to reschedule my next appointment once, then I finally come in, get my crown placed and get the filling put in in the tooth behind it. Well, I decide I will start going to another dentist now. But wait, I have to go back to Birchwood because they did not take post-op X-rays for insurance. It took me 30 minutes in the wait room for a 2 minute X-ray. I finally see my new dentist who says I need to get my crown replaced... which was just done. The seal on it is not all the way to my gum line and my insurance only covers this work every 10 years, so we are still figuring out how this will be done. I went back to Birchwood but there x-ray shows nothing wrong. Meanwhile, I am flossing and that new filling pops out. I have to go back to Birchwood and they do the filling again. Then I go and get a cleaning at my new dentist and the filling pops out again. We are trying to figure out the insurance problem there too so I can get my filling done at my new office and not by the people at Birchwood. I have had 4 different dentists in my last 9 months of care at Birchwood. To say the least, I am not satisfied with the care I have received there.

They very kind and professional explained everything to me where I could understand it. Its a great place.

The girl who did cleaning was not as thorough with the cleaning as I am used too.when she did the front and bottom on the back she made one big swipe not each tooth

IM TERRIFIED OF THE DENTISTS... BUT THEY MADE ME FEEL AT EASE...I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.... ON THE SCORING BOARD... THEY HAVE A 10... ALL THE WAY.... THEYVE WON IN MY BOOK.... GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR NEW FOUND JOY... YOU WILL BE MISSED...

The dental care I received from this office is very personal and the staff is very respectful and courteous. I would rate my experience out of 5 as a 4 1/2.

I wish I could give 0. This facility submitted the claim under the wrong group name of my insurance. As a result, I kept receiving open balance notice monthly, even a collection agency warning. I called many times, provided the correct group number, and asked them to resubmit the claim. In the last call, I was told by their desk staff that I do not have any balance. I had to ask them to send me a confirmation email that I have 0 balance due to this place, in order not to be bothered by any collection agency. They said they will send the confirmation to me after the call but nothing happened yet.

I loved the way everyone was so nice .I felt at home there which is a very nice feeling. The dentist was very kind answered all my questions. I told everyone I know about Birchwood.

Abigail and I came in for cleanings today and honestly I was prepared to leave if the same dentist who saw them last was still there. The last dentist was downright rude to my kids about their brushing and cleaning habits. While I agree that they all could do a better job, shaming them and embarrassing them was not okay.But there is a different dentist who is there temporarily. He was good to Abi and me. Kind and funny. Hoping whoever is taking over is just as great. And the hygienist and front office staff were wonderful.Thank you so much for everything! See you soon.Tracey Hesselgrave

Posting on behalf of a family member. Not sure if they’re purposefully trying to get away with insurance fraud or just don’t care about their patients and only want to get as much money as possible. Either way, wouldn’t recommend.Also: if you search this office without the “Dental Care of Indiana” before it, and just “Birchwood Family Dental”, they have a second listing where all of their negative reviews are. Incase you think this review is a one-off bad experience. It seems it’s more common then portrayed!

The staff are very nice and do good work. But we had to wait like 30 minutes to get to go to the back just to get a really wiggly tooth pulled out wait time should be less.

The staff all around was very friendly and welcoming to me they made me feel safe in there care they absolutely know what they are doing !! Im glad Im a patient there

Should be an option to give 0 stars. This place is a joke!! I called to make an appointment, it was scheduled 2 weeks out. They called me make to reschedule for another two weeks out. Then the day they scheduled me for... I show up only to find out theyre closed for the entire week!!!! My tooth is killing me and they wastes a lot of my time!

Unreliable for a dentist office. They have rescheduled me appointments for the past 2 months when they know how much care I need. Was supposed to have an appointment in the beginning of April and they rescheduled for middle of May and canceled on me today. And made me a new appointment for the middle of June. ridiculous.

I was told the initial visit would cost me $118 and I would leave not being in pain. Well when I got there they wanted me to sign saying I would pay $150 for first visit exam and xrays. I hesitated to sign since the price changed already over night but went ahead and signed. As soon as I signed it I was shown a second form they wanted me to sign stating I would pay $350 for second visit which would be an extensive exam. I would not recommend this dental office! Lied to me from the get go.

From the receptionist to the nurse and then the dentist they were all very professional nice and caring! I would highly recommend them!

I had the best possible dental experience of my life. The Doctor was courteous and considerate. The staff made me very comfortable with the entire process...from the time I entered to the time I left everyone made me feel genuinely welcome. Truly, I cannot say enough good things about my appt. I had an appointment here today and I went in for a cleaning and a “check up” But it was great! The staff were very nice and professional. And the dentist told me what I needed to hear which I appreciate.Probably by far the best dentist I’ve been to so far. Plan on staying with them for a while

The Doctor not only Rolled her eyes, but also inform me that she wasnt aware of the shape of my partials when I came in there, my Parcels were fine for five years until I had three fillings done two and a half months ago and my life has been horrifying my partials do not fit anymore I just spent their two hours to get a tooth fixed that you guys that they messed up please help me figure something out

The dentist really explained what was going with my one tooth that I have been concerned with. She told I didnt need to worry as long as I kept up with my dental care at home and try to get in more cleanings. I feel a lot better now that I know what is happening.

Staff was extremely helpful and sweet. They made last minute accommodations for my procedure so I wouldn’t have to come back. These ladies went above and beyond, would 100% recommend.

They did great! My nurse understood my pain fully and now I have to have my tooth pulled and they got me seen today and are pulling it layer today! I am so glad to finally have this tooth taken out! I believe they will do a great job and help me get out of pain! Thank you all!

First time visit went well! Everyone was super nice and I enjoyed the easy check in and check out. Thats hard to do when you have slept as a night shifter at 8am! This will be the only place my son goes to see the dentist for now on!

Went to get filling and my tooth is 1000x more sensitive than it was before I went. Ive called and no one has returned my call Im extremely disappointed..

Never had a bad experience until I went to this dentist. Staff is very nice but totally incompetent. I have heard many horror stories since having gone there. I Had such strong teeth I could chew ice.. When I left there it hurt to touch my teeth together for months. I am still having residual effects. Plus I paid the bill upfront and they billed me almost 400 dollars later because their “estimate was off”. I am scared to go to a dentist now but am trying to find someone that knows what they are doing.

I had an issue with a tooth that was causing severe pain. Dr. Merryman saw me the same day, diagnosed the problem and made a plan. By the following afternoon I had very little discomfort. Very pleasant, very professional.

First of all, let me say that after all the years I have been going here, I have never had such a great experience like I did today!I was due for an exam and a cleaning for a while now and during that time of procrastination of not getting it done, I was contemplating whether to find a different dentist all together. You see, my experience in the past wasnt the greatest. I was fed up with always getting a new Dr every visit! I wanted a dentist who was going to be my personal dentist for years to come, someone who has gotten to know me. Having a permanent dentist and staff was what I was looking for.Long story short, I decided to stay with Birtchwood here in Lebanon to give it one last chance and boy am I glad I did!The staff here are super friendly and of course, very professional. The dentist is wonderful as well! Did I mention that everyone here are permanent? Well, they are!That is a huge plus for me!My exam was VERY thorough. Never have I had such a thorough exam before.This is NOT the Birchwood from the past!Here at Birchwood, it is an all new and improved business!If you experienced Birchwood in the past and was unsatisfied, give it another chance. If you are someone looking for that one of a kind dentist/staff then start here. I cant imagine anywhere else being any better!Again, what a great experience I had today and I am glad I kept them as my dentist. It was my pleasure in giving the rating I did because they definitely deserve it!

Excellent hygienist. Alex explained everything before she did it. She was gentle and quite pleasant. The Dr. was terrific and professional and asked if I had any questions. Altogether a good visit. I’ve been a patient for 3 years and I will continue. [ The 6th new doctor in 3 years for the 9-24-2019 visit. There is a new doctor every visit. New front desk staff (the 3rd set!) and they of course didn’t know me. They handed me another patient’s estimate to sign, even though I gave them my name when I checked in. I was kept waiting almost 20 minutes to be ushered into a room ( the patient that arrived after me was honored first). Another FULL set of radiographs was taken even though I had had them 6 months previously. It took another 5 minutes to gather up the lead apron and other equipment. The time was now 9:30 for a 9:00 appointment and we hadn’t done anything yet. I would respectfully remind this practice that my time is valuable too. This doctor was very pleasant and explained everything although I never did get my teeth cleaned as I needed a deep cleaning on one side. I made an appointment for next month.]

I took my uncle to Birchwood Dental to have a set of dentures made. He is 73, hard of hearing, and limited prefererall vision in his eyes.The hygienist was very kind and very helpful to my uncle from xrays to showing him the restroom. The dentist was very professional and took her time to make sure that he understood what the process was and the steps necessary to have his insurance to pay for his new glasses.Overall I have to say that the office was extremely neat clean and orderly. My reason that this review is not a 5...name badges or tags. I know they have IDs. Just no one had a ID or name tag visible. I know this may sound strange from a guy who lives in Indiana, but I was employed in the healthcare industry for33 years. Name badges and/or tags make a patient feel more comfortable

Dr.Kurush Savabi, DDS and staff are super amazing just last week I had 6 broken teeth pulled , I was in and out in just a couple of hours. Dr. Savabi and his staff were really gentle and let my mouth become totally numb before even attempting to start the extraction. Himself and his staff are incredibly knowledgeable and super informative on the how and why teeth do what they do. Ill never go anywhere else. They get a 5 star and 10/10 rating from me. Your Dental assistant at Lebanon is very rude. I had my granddaughter in few days ago and she had come from school after lunch didnt get a chance to brush before and when ask about brushing that day the Assistant told her she was a liar. She continued to degrade her. How do you keep rude employees like that? No one should talk to a Child the way she did.I will get her name and report her and Warn people not to take there Child there.
