Chris makes a point to explain everything about your check up so that you can understand the why and what behind the tests and any treatments. From the time I fled the inadequate eye care at DHMC & went to Dr. Fields I have been taken care exceptionally well. They helped me with my contact prescriptions which was different for each eye cause I have Mono-vision, guided me through my Cataract surgeries and continue to assist me so I can pass the vision test at my yearly DOT Physical. Loved this place! They were able to get me in for an apt the day after calling when other places were months wait. Location and parking easy peasy- atmosphere was so warm and inviting! My first appointment at Fields of Vision was in the evening. I expected a bit of a rush with me being the last patient. NOT SO!! I was treated like I was the first patient of the day. Dr. Fields took the time to get to know me, what my activities were, answered all my questions in terms I could understand, and made recommendations of eye wear based on all he learned. A very thorough office visit!When I did get new glasses, they were not quite right... They changed the lenses a couple of times, but still werent right. Dr. Fields took the time to see me again, checking the prescription, and measuring where the sweet spot of vision was. The next set of lenses was great!! These guys are unbelievably good at what they do you can tell the minute you walk in there. They treat you with the best care, are patient and kind. The receptionist squeezed me in on a really tight schedule, when I could have waited months. She did this because my glasses broke and I was urgently in a need of another pair immediately. I can’t do anything without my glasses. I saw them, got a new exam and my glasses arrived in 4 days. I will forever go to fields of vision eye care for all of my eye care in the future.

Came to this location as my regular eye dr in New London NH is almost impossible to get in for an appointment and book months out. Came to this eye dr as my wife and daughter go here and like it. Very disappointed. They made the wrong perscription. They changed the lenses once. I still had problems. I found out after suffering with headaches and going to another place even the second correction was wrong Further, the glasses were delayed for weeks each time. Finally, I had to wait for a long time each visit. They seemed quite disorganized and were obviously unprofessional.
