I had a great experience at this facility. I had two overnight studies done and both were good. Daniel and Terri were very friendly and helpful. The second night I was there I slept better than I have in years. I am so thankful there are wonderful, caring people in this world. If you need help sleeping, please see these folks. I feel like a new person after their care.

I had the wrong time for my appointment and arrived an hour early. They squeezed me in and everyone was great and helpful. They even squeezed me for a same day c-pap fitting.

My experience with this company was met with quick and friendly assistance. Scheduling was a breeze. I was kept in the loop with progress, processing, and setting a time that worked for me. My stay was enjoyable. The tech was kind and funny. Follow ups were quick and attentive as well. I was matched with the products needed in a speedy and efficient manner.

Revised Review-The technicians were great. The sleep study went well this time. The building just needs a remodel. The bathroom door was falling off the hinges. They had snacks and coffee in the morning. Overall a lot better experience.I just got the bill. $15,500. Really???? That is two visits.Talk about a bloated bill. I guess they charge extra for me calling their main company and complaining. I had the same service 2 years ago and it was $4,000.

Do not work here or get a sleep study here or you will get Covid 19 and probably gypped out of a lot of money. They make each tech do 3 patients and it’s dangerous and unrealistic, even they even have patients for you. Somebody is going to get a heart attack and just die, only a matter of time. They opened to early sfter lockdown and called their techs back to pull them off unemployment so they could call them off, when they knew their wasn’t going to be any patients so they could keep their ppp money, which they did not offer to supplement tech’s income. They’re about making America great again, so there’s no safety precautions and it’s a matter of time before they get sued, or you get sued. Patients can do telemedicine and have an hst sent to them and if they test positive, an auto cpap sent to them. They also have terrible recycled equipment from the 90s that they have no intention of upgrading, and they never work, and put the blame on the techs if something goes wrong. They even fired a tech for filing an osha complaint when they didn’t have an active thermometer for weeks to screen patients for covid 19. They will lie to you to this day, and say they have business when they don’t. Don’t work here.

Im not sure whats happened or if only those that dont get what they want review but I had a sleep study done here a couple years ago and it was fine. I didnt suffer any of the problems others have experienced. The tech was good, the doc was fine, the equipment works great. I sleep much better, dont snore anymore and recommend that anyone that has the symptoms get checked by someone and get a machine. Youll feel a lot better.

I visited American Sleep Medicine in Leawood in 2009, had a sleep test, got CPAP, and everything was explained thoroughly. Changed my life. Everyone was courteous and professional.In Sept. 2018 I had a follow-up visit. I must say that Ive truly never met anyone who cares more for his clients and the company for whom he works than Brandon Miller, the genuine Clinical Coordinator, does. He goes the extra mile ... and miles and miles!

I went here in 2013. Did the sleep study, bought a CPAP. Installed the SD Card. Havent heard from anyone since. Now I need a new hose and they dont have any in stock. However, they do want me to come in to see if I need a new CPAP machine. Hmmm ...

This is a sham. Just trying to make money. I went in for my initial visit and they said I probably didnt have sleep apnea but wanted to do a take home sleep study. Went back the next day to pick up the machine to take it home. Had a $250 non-refundable deposit but i decided to go through with it. Did the study at home and brought it back the next day. A week later they called me back (and charged me a $50 for an office visit) and said that the home study didnt really reveal anything but thats no surprise really as they are not as accurate as the in house overnight sleep study. They then recommended I do an over night in house study. What? Then why did I pay $250 for a take home if you knew it wouldnt reveal much and were going to recommend the in house overnight anyway. I declined. I then got a bill about 2 weeks later for $100 for the analysis of the take home sleep study. They dont really deserve 1 star.

I thought the whole process went very well.My room was quiet and comfortable.Everything was explained in detail. Even though there were a lot of wires attached the went on quickly, each detail was explained in advance and overall it was much better than I expected. My tech was professional and kind, Dr Eveloff took his time to explain the results in terms that I understood and I would highly recommend this facility!

I advise anyone referred to this place to find another place to have your sleep studied. I have never had as poor of an experience with a medical provider as I have with this one. It has been SIX WEEKS since my sleep study and I have yet been provided the CPAP that the Doctor reported that I needed. The receptionist reports that the Doctor and Technician have both left the company and she is now the only person there. I have been in contact with her multiple times, both in person and over the phone, regarding the prescription of a CPAP. I have been given the run around for 6 weeks and counting. Today I called the corporate office and was told that the information would be in a machine providers hands tomorrow. We shall see....

The comfort and cleanliness is at the top of my list when compared to other overnight sleep study places Ive been. They even had little breakfast snacks and juices to grab as you left. They woke everyone up by 6:30, regardless of the time you fall asleep. Unfortunately, I only ended up with about 3-4 hours of actual sleep, so not only was I tired, but I didnt have the usual 6+ hours of sleep data the my Drs expected. The billing or corporate office is located in Florida. The communication between their Florida office and the local office is horrible. Dont be surprised if the local office agrees to one price, but then the Florida office starts sending you bills and calling your phone nonstop, asking for a higher amount. I was finally able to get my billing issue resolved, but there shouldnt have been an issue in the first place.

I have never had such a poor experience with a care provider. These people are excuse machines. I am writing this review on May 18 after I returned my sleep study on May 1. Stay away from these people. I am convinced that they never intend to provide any care just excuses.

The initial consultation went well. They then gave me an At-Home sleep test to use for a couple of nights, which went reasonbly well. After this, they scheduled a follow up appointment to go over my results. At this appointment, I waited 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment to be let into a room. I then waited another 30 minutes to finally have someone come into the room to go over my results. The person was in the room going over the results for less than 2 minutes. I was not diagnosed with sleep apnea, so they told me to have a nice day. They did not care that the reason I went in was for sleep related groaning (not just sleep apnea) they are only interested in selling sleep apnea machines. They are not interested in helping with sleep issues if it does not involve selling a sleep apnea machine. Now, I wouldnt be writing this review if they werent now trying to stick me with a bill for the second farce of a visit which should have been taken care of with a quick phone call (the phone call to set up the results appointment took longer than the appointment). Save your money and look elsewhere.

This companys sole purpose is sales of CPAP machines. I went in at my wifes recommendation. I was never shown the results of the study, but they were insistent that I needed a CPAP, so I went back for the stay over where they adjust the machine for the necessary pressure. In the morning, the tech told me that I didnt have any sleep events and that she didnt think I needed a CPAP. When I reported this back at my next visit, they assured me that I needed one and said the tech shouldnt have told me that. I think she was just being honest with me, but they wanted their sale. Fast forward 6 months. My CPAP machine has been in the closet for the past 6 months collecting dust. We just received a bill from them for $500. They billed my insurance company 6 months late, and the insurance company wont pay (3 month limit for claims). So now American Sleep Medicine is trying to charge me $500 because they waited too long to bill insurance. This place scammed me to get the sale, and now theyre trying to scam me for more since they didnt bill insurance timely. Avoid this place at all costs!

If I can give one recommendation for this company, it would be to go somewhere else. This place had no problem taking my money to do a sleep study back in August. A little while after, I received a phone call from the Doctor, confirming that I had sleep apnea. He explained that I would be receiving a call from someone regarding getting a CPAP machine. This was in August and no one ever called. I called this company back two weeks ago and was told that they would be in touch with the CPAP company. They called me back and told me that the CPAP company had my information already and to be expecting a call, explaining that they had no idea what happened. Guess what. No one called. I called again just now and told them if they didnt want to call me, that was fine, but I expect a refund for what I paid for a sleep study as it was obviously a waste. I was told that I needed to speak to corporate in order to get a refund. This company is a total ripoff with terrible customer service.

Did a home sleep study and paid in full at time of visit. Got billed for office visit that was sent to my family doctor. BCBS paid so I was owed a refund since February and its July. I had to call to get that process going myself. So disappointed that I have to do the work of their office staff and take care of their errors. Very unprofessional.

I went to the facility at 112 and nall. It was awful .There was cold air from the window , freezing cold in the room , freezing cold bathroom floor, had to pee six times .the bed was like soft mush .The pillow gave me a sore neck. When the attendant brought in more blankets and raised the temp with a portable heater I sweated like crazy.The room was described as a motel room .But it was bleak , drab and had a bare bones look devoid of any comforts. It was an awful experience . When speaking with a company rep for my scheduled appointment . I complained bitterly about the room .I got a lame response o,f oh yeah I will mention it to somebody?? yeah right ? . The only plus, is the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant at the facilty.I would not recommend this place . Their continental breakfast was protein bars and juice .I/m diabetic so I had to wait till I got home to eat. Shop around

Right hand (local office) and Left hand (Florida office) does not communicate hardly at all. When i 1st got my Cpap i had a rip hose from manufacturer , after being told 3 times from Florida someone would Call me back after waiting I went and bought Hose directly.Very frustrating when i had a mask problem at the start as well.

If I could rate zero stars, I would. Completely worthless when it comes to follow-up appointments and receiving replacement equipment. The person I spoke to today was rude and actually hung up on me. Give this place a miss if you can.
