Found this gem last year for my birthday. I was amazingly surprised at the price for the service I chose. Super affordable! Super relaxing! Its my new favorite spot. Try it, if you havent been. You wont be disappointed.

There are much better reflexology massage places in Kansas City. I used to like this place but I question their business practices and I will be reporting them to the State of Kansas and Better Business Bureau. Charging extra to use credit card and asking for cash-only sales with no receipt is highly unethical. I also question if all their massage therapists are licensed as I’ve had several use unprofessional techniques. My 10-year old could do better! Some of the front office people are so RUDE!! I finally made the choice to leave. You don’t treat your long-term customers with a bad attitude and rudeness.

Perfect massage, but the owner lady will bully you and ask you how much are you going to tip and says you have to tip and every customer does. Its my third time here, i always tipped when i wasnt asked to and sent my coworkers here for a massage. When she asked mehow much i want to tip i said you can’t force me that and we had a 5 minute conversation about it, i said that’s wrong to ask and i won’t tip now, she told me okay you can leave by pointing the door. Unbelievable…

Took me and my mom out for a nice expensive treat and only had very little cash on me and she followed me out to the car and demanded more tip money when I didnt have any extra. You shouldnt ask for a tip thats something up to the person to give it.

Love this place. Will go again. HOWEVER, do not purchase a gift certificate from them. They put an expiration date on it and will not honor it past that date. My gift certificate was a gift and purchased during COVID. They claim they stayed open the entire time, despite stay at home orders and the Kansas Health Department closing restaurants, gyms, hair salons, etc.If you cant use it within 3 months of receiving it, tell your family/friends to not waste their money. They probably arent aware of the law suits against merchants who put an expiration date on gift cards and dont accept them. It actually makes it illegal to refuse the gift certificate based on expiration date alone, unless it is invalid for some other reason.But I am not a lawyer so who am I to argue?FYI though...Gift Certificates and Gift Cards - HB 2658 makes it a violation of the Kansas Consumer Protection Act, after January 1, 2007, to sell a gift card or gift certificate containing an expiration date of less than five years from the date of purchase.Mine was purchased Aug 1 2020, so technically I have till Aug 1 2025 to use it.

One hour combo was $40（special） and james was fantastic! Nice firm pressure but not too deep. First 30 min was the foot massage, while your feet soak in nice warm water he gave me a head, neck, arms and hands massage. After the foot and leg, up to the knee, massage, he had me turn over to work on my back the last 30 min. Those comfy chairs are amazing, they lay flat and have an opening for your face like a massage table. You stay completely dressed and they put a nice oversized towel over you which helped me with warmth, because I was a little chilly from getting caught in the rain on my way in. The music is relaxing, the inside is really lovely. Just a perfect place to relax and enjoy! I would recommend this place to anyone.

I do not recommend this establishment to anyone. I was treated with nothing but disrespect when I went on 02/13/21. I made an online appointment only to be turned away after I waited 15 minutes being told, “there is no room for you.” No explanation, no offer to reschedule. I will not be returning. This is not how one should conduct business. Shame on you Tao Reflexology.

Update... Bill did a FABULOUS job! The receptionist was rude and they do not give cash discounts anymore. Nor do they do the frequent guest card or honor the filled cards anymore. (They will honor for a foot massage only.) Dont love it as much, anymore, soley due to the receptionist!!Love this place!! Always feel very relaxed and regenerated when I leave. Cannot wait to go back!!

Love this place! Went for the first time and I felt safe. Everyone was distanced and Wendy was great. She made my feet feel so much better. Especially the one that I pulled a muscle on. Will be returning again very soon.

Got a 1-hour full body massage deal on Groupon for $48 for two at Tao Reflexology and I have to say, for a first time, it was a little different. Its not quite deep tissue massage and its not quite close to a chiro adjustment. They tend to focus more on the feet but work also on the Muscle reflexes, I guess. The place was super clean though and the masseuse were gentle. Was worth the try.

This place is awesome. Seriously this place was the best!! I have had a lot of massages but this one was by far the best. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is beyond relaxing. TAO is an amazing, affordable hour experience you will ever get. By the end of the hour, all your stress and fatigue is gone, and you feel well rested and full of energy. At TAO, they create a very relaxing atmosphere where you dont even feel there are other couches and other people beside you. The technicians are very professional and well trained!I definitely recommend TAO Reflexology! It is absolutely an amazing experience, every time!

I love this amazing place. I’ve been going for about a year now, a couple times a month at least. The prices can’t be beat anywhere else. If you want a deep tissue massage, with oils and bare skin this isn’t the place for you. That said, it’s an amazing place to go if you just need a quick hour of relaxation or a last minute massage because they take walk ins and usually don’t have a wait. It is very clean, unlike other places. It is dark with relaxing music, it’s hard not to fall asleep. Last but not least Louise is my favorite masseuse hands down, (I just had her for the first time a week ago and I will be requesting her every time now!) she does not slack off and pays attention to exactly what muscle she is massaging. I hope she sees this because she herself deserves 5 stars! She is mainly why I’m writing this review.

This place is a hidden gem in Leawood! They are all wonderful and have many different services to choose. It’s super easy to walk in and get something on the spot and they are very efficient. My favorite is the 30 min neck and shoulders and they really work out your knots! Very clean and great prices, can’t say enough good things about this place.

Really nice place actually. Not your typical massage parlor, its a bit more casual than that. You are in a big open room with a bunch of other people, but everyone is quiet and minding their own business. The massage itself was wonderful. Very strong and got all the muscles in my body. They even massaged my ears!

$35 for a massage? Cant beat that. The foot reflexology with head, neck and shoulders is really more of a full body massage. Their techniques are based on ancient Chinese meridian theory, so if youve looking a more traditional Western massage, you will be disappointed. But if youre open minded, this is a really great experience. I always feel relaxed and invigorated after a session. The owner is very nice and the atmosphere is soothing too. Highly recommend!

First time customer and I will be back! The woman who gave me a foot reflexology massage was wonderful. Im on my feet for 8 hours a day and I happened to stop by with a co-worker after work and it felt amazing. They have Spceial offers every Tuesday. Can you believe that the 60min foot reflexology massage just $58 for two people? Thats amazing. This was the highlight of my day!!!

Been to this place a couple of time with appointments. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The place is always clean and quiet, so being massaged next to other people has never been an issue. I definitely recommend it to anyone needing some rejuvenation/relaxation during a long and stressful week. GO GO GO! What are you waiting for?

Tao is our all time favorite massage place in town. Best price, best delivery of service, no nonsense reflexology, strong hands, worth every penny. Prices for what you receive are second to none. In fact, my wife and I go here once a week on Sunday nights, then go home and fall asleep like babies. I recommend going later in the evening when its all dark in the place...absolute heaven. If youve never been to reflexology, youre in for a treat. If youve been to Massage Envy and the other places, paid those prices for what you receive...one try here and youll never go back to standard fare massage houses. One visit here and I canceled my Massage Envy account. Do the hour and 15 minutes approximate deal they have going. They massage everything and the price is so reasonable. If you want one thing in life to treat yourself to...its either a house maid every other week or Tao Reflexology. Actually, I chose both!!

I went Tao Reflexology as a last resort, hence most traditional massage places were booked. The place is nice and clean with a quite, staff and customers simple whisper, which is nice. I was really tired and I was in need of a deep tissue massage. But this is not what they do here. Don’t get me wrong they do a nice job washing my feet and then a routine doing gliding their arms on my left and right parts of my body. For me getting a massage with your clothes on it’s a bit uncomfortable. The treatment is to apply pressure certain areas on the feet, back, hands and ears. I need attention to my mid back but it was hard to communicate In community setting with 10 or more clients around. I think I might have misread their description. But is reflexology is what you want this is the right place to go.

Went for an afternoon massage at 1pm today with my mama, it was very nice I liked the music very soothing, it was a nice massage I didnt get the name of the guy doing my massage but wish I had, so I could get him again. I feel looser and my body more relaxed. I felt bad though when he did my feet I jumped, he apologized but he didnt do anything wrong, just especially sensitive on my feet and it tickled. I will return to Tao again 😊😊😊😊

My friend and I went together and I couldnt believe that we each got a whole hour for the price we paid! You keep your clothes on, so I recommend wearing shorts or loose pants that you can roll up easily, and a sports bra would have been more comfortable.my boss name is Joe if you like a firm pressure to get those knots out and for a wonderful foot massage. He is a quick with his hands and will work on your body where you need it most.My whole massage I was releasing so much tension. This was the Wes Anderson of massages, not to be unkind to Wes. Clean, a little cold, very light, with odd and abrupt transitions. Weird. My feet were barely rubbed - which is the exact opposite of what I thought a massage focused on foot reflexology would be. I paid the upgrade to also get the shoulders and back massage - but it was just as weird ant not really a massage.The fish tank at the entrance with many large beautiful fish that dont have enough room, NOTHING in the tank to stimulate them and display all the behaviors of fish not fed enough, kind of summed up what being a customer of this place feels like. I think they do just enough so that needy people, many of whom dont know what a good massage really is, will come back, will HAVE to come back.

I have been here 5 times in the past month, and I think this place is awesome. Its a very quiet and serene atmosphere that features very relaxing music in the background. From the time you get here to the time you leave, you are treated with respect and with care. The staff is very nice, the massage therapists really know what they are doing and they go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable throughout your treatment. Love them! The most reasonably priced, actual deep massage, not gentle touching and rubbing with super perfumed oils like fancier places. I bring my whole family here quite often. They also helped me a lot when I thought I forgot my bag there (it wasn’t left there). It was all my mistake but they courteously helped me in my requests. There’s no other place like this. Would rate lower if possible. Person giving my massage was sick and coughing on me the entire massage. This individual was also pulling aggressively on my limbs to the point of extreme pain.I ended up leaving mid massage because I no longer wanted to be coughed on, and aggressively/ incorrectly pulled on/beaten. I requested my money back at the front desk, and they pretended to not understand my request. Would not recommend when there are a lot of other great reflexology places in KC.

This is not my first reflexology experience, but this was the worst one ever. I feel cheated. Idk if Ill be back to this place ever the Male worker I had was way too rough and breathed rather hard. I shouldnt pay a supposed professional to beat me and cause pain. The 1st half was fine and rather relaxing, but when I got to the added on 10 buck extra back massage, which I now regret. I feel like I shouldnt have left any tip at all, but I did. Wont be back. Waste of a groupon and money.Whats even worse is that after years of pain I had a chiropractor reset my rib and shoulder and was pain free for months. After this appointment its back.

This is the best massage place I have ever been to.Ive been there a dozen times or more. Its about 12 beds in a big open room with relaxing ambient music and lighting. So no privacy, BUT its dirt cheap in exchange. $35 for an hour massage? For that, Id gladly share a room with others. In my experience, I dont even notice the others.On non-busy days I can just walk in with no wait. On fridays and weekends, I have to wait maybe an hour if I dont have an appointment. The massages are wonderful. Let me explain.Tony is my personal favorite if you want a let me crush your muscle knots until you are relaxed massage. Thats what I prefer. Grind my body!On the other hand, my mom is older and frail and she also enjoyed her more-Swiss style massage, which was more a pleasant rubbing.There is a language barrier, so I find its helpful to explain to the person up front at the desk what you want and then he/she will tell the masseuse any extra instructions. I.e. dont touch my arm cuz it hurts, no back cracking, extra strength on my legs.Obviously the masseuses know harder too hard perfect.

I called very last minute and had a groupon to use asked it they had time if I came right in they said yes so I went. The young gentleman that did the treatment was hands down the best I have ever had. I left feeling relaxed, revived and rejuvenated!! This was such a blessing as we buried my dad this week and I had been internalizing the stress from that. Thank you so so much!! I would highly recommend them!!

Took 6 of my friends the second time and thought it would be the same as my first time,not so AT ALL! I started out with a lady she was just okay, then I added on the massage and they switched her out for one of the guys. He was so aggressive !!!! I don’t know if he was angry but he beat my back and shoulders so hard I was in pain the rest of the day, it was RIDICULOUS! He also was breathing over me like some gross old man!BEWARE, I also had a gift certificate which covered the service and a $6 tip , I was informed the tip could not be given to the lady because they can’t give change, that’s just stupid! Therefore I ended up leaving a $11 for a terrible service!I gave two stars , one for cleanliness ,and one for the lady.

My son and his girlfriend buy the coupon to the Groupon. Arrived at Tao Reflexology. They show the Groupon to them and the guy didn’t say anything. The guy on the front doesn’t even know how to speak English, they took my son and his girlfriend inside. The guys who do the treatment are good though but after they finished they ask my son to pay it the $70 because they don’t accept the Groupon. Groupon amount is $40 for 2 and for 30 mins. And the guy in the front force my son to give the tips.( which he will in cash) but the guy is really annoying so my son force to give a tips on his card. Won’t come back in this place again!

I am only giving one star because I have to. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone, especially women. I went in expecting to relax and try something new with my family. Instead, I was touched inappropriately by the male reflexologist. The manager (Gigi) apologized, and said she would talk to him but they each have different technologies (Im assuming she meant techniques), but no techniques should include what he did. The manager then offered a free service, which I certainly am not accepting. No one else in my group had a bad experience, so take this as you will, but if you decide to go ask for a woman.

This place is amazing and I will be back! Reflexology is different from the standard massage. They spend special attention to certain pressure points and the result is pure bliss, I walked out of here feeling rejuvenated and my pain was relieved (Im pregnant and suffering from back pain, hip pain, foot pain, you name it I have it lol). It was so relaxing to just recline on the chair, close my eyes, and be pampered.For $35, this reflexology is worth it. I always end up falling asleep because it feels sooo good!
