I visited the Minute Clinic at the Leavenworth Ks. Location today. I had a great experience with a kind, knowledgeable clinician. I can not thank this person enough for taking the time to care for me when they were booked solid.

This place is a major scam. I was having my blood pressure monitored for the VA and instead of driving down to my VA provider in Lenexa I was told to just go to Walgreens or CVS to get my daily check done. I had just moved to town and didn’t have a primary care provider for myself. I walk in and ask the pharmacy who immediately refers me to the MinuteClinic. I ask the nurse practitioner if she can take my blood pressure for the day and write it on my sheet for the VA. She immediately tells me I need to make an appointment, I assure her I do not need to be seen for anything I just need someone qualified to take my blood pressure and sign my sheet. She then tells me that is fine but I need to sign in, so I do. She brings me into the room and asks for my insurance card, I tell her once more “I am not here for any type of treatment and just need my blood pressure taken and recorded, if I’m going to be charged I will go elsewhere or back to my VA provider in Lenexa” she said she has to take my insurance because it’s protocol then after running my insurance assured me I will not be charged and my insurance would cover it because it’s just a preventative check, makes sense, my insurance covers that in full....a month later I get a bill saying I’m being charged $139 for them to take my blood pressure. They charged me for a regulatory appointment as if I was ill or something. $139 to take my blood pressure 3 times. This place is a massive scam. I do not recommend ever going here for any reason. She also recorded my blood pressure wildly higher than what my provider found. Do not use this place, they will lie to you and charge you for services you did not receive.

Had such a positive experience here! The check in process was easy enough, and the clinical area was organized and clean which is always important. Service was prompt and quality. Jason saw me and helped me out today. Came in not feeling so well, he was very attentive and thorough when going through my symptoms today. He was extremely personable and added humor into the visit while walking me through everything (which humor is just what I need when I’m not feeling good). Going to the doctor is never fun, but he made it a really enjoyable experience and I can’t thank him enough for taking the time to educate me and making me laugh in the process. I was also his last patient tonight before closing, so it meant a lot that the visit didn’t feel rushed and he still gave the visit 110% which can be really hard after seeing countless patients in a day. No doubt I’ll be feeling better soon, as I already feel a little bit better after leaving today due to such a great experience. Thank you so much Jason!!! I’d give 10 stars if I could.

Might have a wait every so often but when do you not at most medical treatment areas. I had a great practionor today. You get nearly immediate fills on any needed prescriptions right there. I think its more about who you get that serves you vs the location. I have been treated respectfully each time Ive been here and at modest prices. Thank you!

We use this clinic when our regular medical facility is closed. Always professional. Good care. Reasonable prices.

My husband went in for a DOT physical and the provider didnt give us all his paper work and his medical card was not filled out correctly... we paid $144 for this service and it cost him 1 full days pay because it was not done correctly!! We wont ever use their services again.. so in all we drive over 10p miles and it cost us well over $400 for their screwed up services.

I was able to get right in on the day I went. Practitioner was great.

Went in because I had been severely sick for over a week and needed to be seen. I am a college student, so I am not that close to home, which makes it difficult for me to get into my primary care physician. It was a very obvious case of what was wrong and there was just one medication I needed to be prescribed to make it all better. The nurse practitioner seemed to have absolutely no clue what was going on and prescribed me with 5 different medications that I didnt even need. This forced me to have to make the trip back home to see an actual doctor who gave me the prescription I needed. My doctor told me she never advises people to go into the Minute Clinic because they usually dont know what theyre doing. Now I get to pay for a service that was completely pointless. I will never go to another Minute Clinic again.

We arrived there at 5:10 and signed in on the computer but it said there was a 30 minute wait. No one else was even at the clinic. Just the staff member cleaning up and was ready to leave. It wouldnt allow us to register because there was only 20 minutes left before closing. The one staff member on duty was rude to us from the beginning and then all she could could say was come back tomorrow morning.

Its more like 60 minute clinic. Long waits but the nurse is very nice.

Nurse practioner was rude and not helpful. Will not return.
