I have been to a few gyms, and other Genesis, and this is my favorite. My husband and I just moved here from Texas from the military. Met with Ryan to get the scoop when I came in and got started since it seemed fair enough. The gym is clean and well maintained. The UJAM class has been great! I love the classes. Ryan told me it would benefit me to meet with a trainer for pain relief in my back and shoulders. I’ve never been to a gym where you get training sessions included! I was surprised how much it helped after a few sessions even though I’ve been working out for years. I like going to the pool or spa after I’m out of class. Grab a chocolate peanut butter protein shake if you don’t feel like cooking after your workout!

Matt the fitness advisor is the man. He engages with all gym clients and is very helpful and understanding with any matter a client may have. I have only been a member for a little over 3 weeks and he has been nothing but helpful and engaging. These are the type of fitness advisors I love to interact with. I just might renew my membership just because of his great customer service.

I have been a member now for over four years. I have also used a personal trainer for most of that time and been very happy with this program. They are pleasant and flexible with their schedule when needed. I would recommend personal training to meet your individual goals. I also enjoy group classes and all instructors are very capable and professional. It has been a super experience! My trainer Megan is fantastic.

Nice facility and generally friendly employees. The childcare area was dirty and had to repeatedly wait on employees to show up after it opened. I got the sense that they just wanted the kids to sit in front of the TV so they could sit in the corner. I asked them multiple times to not turn the TV on if it was just my kids in the room, but they would turn it on anyway. Some of the front desk employees were not very helpful or knowledgeable. They also are a little sneaky and say that they won’t allow you to cancel your account on the weekends, trying to make me pay for another month. I think the facility is great, but they could raise the bar on training their employees to be professional and friendly.

The single greatest gym I’ve ever been to. The atmosphere is welcoming and the people even more so. If you’re looking to join a gym, Genesis Health Clubs is by far the best choice. The gym is clean, large, and has the best selection of fitness opportunities in the area.

Really enjoy this gym, the trainers and staff are professional, friendly, and know what they’re doing. There’s a good variety of well maintained workout and cardio equipment and lots of classes to check out. Matt helped me out a lot the last time I was in.

This gym is awesome. I love the customer help especially front desk! I think her name is sophie but she always has an upbeat attitude :) The gym it’s self is great quality and the smoothie bar is great as well!

We try our absolute best to stay clean and provide top quality for everyone and anyone coming in. I really love the people at this gym and the conversations we have. I get a protein shake every time I work and I dont ever want to make one at home again haha. Anyways I love working at this gym.

Personal trainers are on hand at all times and happy to answer questions about equipment as well as nutrition. Clean and wide variety of equipment. Even a lap pool and sauna! Friendly atmosphere. Never felt awkward as a newbie, only welcomed.

WOW! Really impressed with this gym. A wide array of workout machines, friendly staff, and great shakes. I was given a tour by a friendly young man named Jake. He was extremely helpful!

The Front desk and FAs are all very welcoming and nice. Cleaning did a great job of making sure the locker rooms were clean. Jake was amazing when educating me on a membership and gym tour!

I love the fact that there are so many machines so you never have to wait for someone to finish up on a certain machine. They keep the gym clean and their machines up to date.

The staff is very nice and the equipment is always kept in good shape. I go there with my friends to play basketball a lot, and we always have such a great time. Then we go to the gym afterwards and work out.

We’ve always enjoyed working out here, but we brought our family member as a guest, and they charged us $15 for 1 visit. That seemed to be very excessive for a first time experience for a visitor.

Genesis is a nice gym to go to for a work and a great environment and have a nice basketball court to play on.

Every time I come here everyone is happy to be at work and very friendly. The facility is always clean. What sealed the deal was I had a friend who had a problem at a different location and the manger at the this gym handled it right away!! I literally won’t go to any other gym!!

I LOVE that theyre open so early in the morning, till 11pm at night - I have a busy schedule, but its less stressful for me to have more flexibility of when I can go when life gets hectic.

I love the people at genesis, the staff are awesome. My biggest challenge with Genesis is that it is always so dirty and in disrepair. Even before Covid this was a constant issue. I make it a point to clean everything before I use it, not just for sanitation purposes but for actual cleanliness. This morning when my temperature registered 96.7 at the desk I realized there must not be a system for calibrating the thermometer. Im still a member and will continue to be but I wish it was a better kept facility.

Great place if you want to receive text messages all the time for over a year after you move away, and have asked repeatedly to be taken off their list. I stopped by once, asked to look at the place, and they only had one squat rack, I wasnt interested. Unfortuntlately I gave them my phone number, and almost two years later I still get texts from them asking me when I can stop by for a free visit. I ask to be taken off the distro, but nope! I spoke to a rep yesterday. And asked to be taken off, just got another text today. Take me off the distro.

Love this gym so much but they overcharge for everything. $0 enrollment fee turns into $89. $46 a month turns into $67. Plus they’re wrestling matts just got taken coincidently around the same time I got an infection from them not being sanitized properly.I love this gyms activities but you guys are overpriced in ever aspect and have no regard for regular middle class people.

Its been a year or so that TVs on treadmills never worked.WARNING!! DO NOT touch walls in the showers or sauna. NASTY.If it rains they set buckets all over the gym so you ,,wont drown.daycare &pool are top notch in this facility. I love the Genesis facility in Leavenworth Ks! They have great classes (number of/variety/quality). All the instructors are very knowledgeable and make the class fun. They have a great lap pool which is also used for the aqua aerobic classes. The exercise equipment is always well maintained with a large variety and availability. They also have Pickleball courts available several days a week.

I think Genesis is wonderful~~from the great instructors to the fun workout classes!!! ALL of the instructors who teach the classes I attend are amazing and so interested in making the classes fun, yet challenging. Also, the options if you have injuries or pain are always appreciated and you do not have to forfeit your workout. I love to come to class! One more very important thing~~the instructors know you by name~~that makes everyone feel special!!! My husband attends Genesis for Pickleball and always has a great time!!~~Vicki Black

Having a regular exercise routine and finding a gym that has all your needs can be difficult. Genesis makes all this easy. They offer many fitness classes, trainers and a considerable amount of equipment. The staff/instructors are encouraging and helpful in assisting me to achieve my fitness goal. Not only am I becoming a better me but making friends in this process is a bonus.

Great, clean facility. Love the equipment and the classes I have tried. The staff I interact with are all friendly and helpful. My trainer, Zach is fantastic. I would have given this location 5 stars if the rowing machines were in better shape. They either need to be serviced really well or just replaced.

Visiting from out of town and very impressed with this gym. Its clean, they check temperatures for covid concerns, and everyone is very friendly.

Even if a broken machine occurs, it wont be fixed for months!No machines have been replaced with new ones for 7 years.Its full of old machines here and there.

Love this gym and their staff are amazing. The gym is doing wonderful with the reopening and Im so happy they are back open.

Staff is friendly and equipment selection is good in all areas. Free towel service is a great amenity. In this time of COVID-19 cleanliness is being maintained very well.

A lot of the people at the front desk here are rude. There’s maybe one or two that have been nice. It didn’t use to be this way, but I think they hired some new people who just keep being rude every time I come in. Simple questions that I ask get answered with rude answers. I’ve been rejected because I didn’t have the key fob thing. Unless this gets fixed, I might be done going to this gym.
