We go here as a family and have been very pleased with Dr. Hsu. This groups works closely together with issues of the teeth and when there was an issue, they were right there walking us through with ideas, dates, and plans. This is a wonderful dental office! Dr. Hsu is very skilled, personable, and always explains his treatment plans. He’s great at making sure patients are comfortable. The office staff and dental tech are also polite and run a very smooth operation. I always leave feeling like I understand everything about my treatment and its financial aspects.

Let me start out by saying that I am deathly scared of needles. Dr. Hsu made me feel so comfortable and his injections werent painful like my previous dentists. The thing that stands out is that he took the time to explain everything he was doing and the reason behind it. I actually went home and recommended him to a bunch of my friends and family. I think I found my primary dentist!

Excellent, very gentle and courteous! I have a small mouth, and sometimes doing the x-rays is very uncomfortable, but the hygienist was gentle and used a smaller size film, rather than trying to cram my mouth beyond its capacity, which is what I was used to at other dentists.They listened to my concerns and did a thorough exam with great recommendations.Also, they did not try to oversell me on any products or services.

Oh wow! Fast, friendly and three perfectly matched fillings! I cant even count the number of dentists Ive seen in my (middle-aged) lifetime or the amount of money spent on fillings, crowns, root canals, etc. Three fillings on the top of my bottom teeth wore/broke away so I checked Yelp and found Crystal Lake Dental.The staff is genuinely friendly-not that fake friendly-and Dr. Hsu is super! And the best part? It only took an hour!

Every person I have encountered here has been nothing short of delightful and the definition of courteous. I cannot imagine how they could have made my visit more comfortable and pleasant. Immediately after calling to set my first appointment, I told my wife she had to set one as well. Thats the kind of impression you will get from the quality staff and service here. I live between Houston and Austin, but I am so glad I decided to go to here.

We have been coming to Dr. Hsu since my daughter was a baby. They are great with kids! It doesnt hurt that she gets to watch cartoons while they clean her teeth. They are very thorough, and gentle. They provided great recommendations when it was time for braces too. The prize basket at the end helps us celebrate clean teeth!

Dr. Hsu is great! Hes very thorough with everything - I like that he reviews radiographs with you and explains things, prioritizes whats most urgent, but isnt pushy about what needs to be done. I also think its neat that he does the scaling and cleaning himself, unlike some dentists that just pop in and out of the room. The receptionist was very sweet! Other assistant seemed a little distracted but still had a nice attitude.

Super happy with both of the experiences Ive had at Crystal Lake. I realized that I have been going to a dentist my whole life who put me through such pain and these guys have made me significantly less scared about visiting the dentist. Their technicians are super gentle and really tip toe around my sensitive teeth and gums. So grateful to have them in the neighborhood!

I am NOT a fan of the dentist... all my life it has been a stressful experience, I even bring a stressball to use while they clean my teeth.I have come here for a little over a year now and this place is AMAZING. Not only do they put your mind at ease, but they use equipment that doesnt hurt and they have dental assistants/dentists that actually know what they are doing.Bottom line: NO pain, NO worry, very quick and very flexible. I usually dont write yelp reviews but I really had write this to let the reviewers know what an amazing dentist Dr Hsu is!I was a patient of his 3 years ago and due to work related reasons I had to change dentist.After countless visits and dollars spend going to the dentist and specialists for excruciating dental pain with no resolution, I made one visit to Dr Hsu and he was able to figure out the problem within a matter of minutes. I appreciate his thoroughness , expertise and care for his patients .

I heard about this new dental practice and was long overdue for a cleaning that I put off. Dr. Hsu did a great job with my cleaning. The office is in a new plaza and is very welcoming and comfortable. After taking my x-rays with the assistant, Dr. Hsu did my cleaning and took the time to explain where I had worn fillings and went over some suggestions for my routine in a friendly way that didnt make me feel judged for not coming in sooner for my cleaning or flossing as regularly as I should.He and his staff were also great about explaining my payment options and made sure I was taken care of. Im definitely ready to come back for my follow ups and will continue to return for future cleanings.

My sister recommended me to visit Dr. Hsus office and I gave a shot after double-checking with great reviews. I was expecting to get a crown done on one of my teeth that other dentist highly recommended, but Dr. Hsu saved my teeth and money from getting the crown done - I grind my teeth at night severely and my teeth became too short that he told me it would be best to get the fillings done instead. Already having a bridge on my lower right teeth, it was such a relief that he saved my tooth by fillings with other small operations. He worked very gently and made sure I felt comfortable throughout.Having said I grind my teeth severely, I also got a night guard from him, which felt so comfortable at night. I used to wear night guard that I bought from drug store and it never felt comfortable and I sometimes woke up in the middle of the night. After getting a comfortable night guard from Dr. Hsu, I sleep really well!I didn’t mean to write a long review but I had to express how I feel so thankful and lucky to meet Dr. Hsu! Highly recommend him!!!!

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST! I just moved to this area and needed to have some major work done. I had put off going to the dentist as i knew it was going to be painful. I had three teeth pulled, 2 wisdom teeth and 1 molar. I paid for gas and after 4 shots and excessive pressure and jerking on my jaw, the three teeth were removed. I was given a Rx for Vicodin only to find out after going to the pharmacy that Dr. HSU DOES NOT EVEN HAVE A LICENSE TO PRESCRIBE Vicodin. Something that would have been nice to know before i had 3 teeth pulled. Instead i was prescribed Tylenol 3 and 800mg Ibprophen which hurt my stomach. I called the after hours line and left a voicemail and once i was called back i was told I could not be prescribed anything stronger and she was sorry. This is unacceptable and frankly ridiculous! I am in PAIN and the only thing i can do it take double the dose of Ibprophen i was prescribed since the dental office doesnt want to help me. Please think twice before you need to have anything major done here. I wish i would have done more research before i chose to go the Crystal Lake Dental. A true dental nightmare!

Have been looking for a new dentist for the family. Happen to stop by this place twice during posted business hours. Each time doors were locked and lights off. Tried calling at each attempted visit and recording says not available and repeats the business hours.

I believe her name is Sarai at the front desk is an Angel on earth. I am not being dramatic or exaggerating in that statement I literally mean she is an Angel. I am certain any other patient here that has encountered her would agree that her kindness radiates. I worked reception at an ENT doctors office for a few years in college and understand how things can get hectic in the front. This woman has the most genuine kind hearted nature I left smiling because of her, my appointment was one of the last of the day and she truly took her time to explain every detail to me (I needed several fillings and one root canal) -yes I needed all of that work done and still left in a great mood. I never write reviews but her sweet nature is truly incomparable. I didn’t feel judged or rushed, truly like talking to a friend.
