I pulled a muscle in my back while working out. Dr. V and his team not only helped me reduce the immediate pain but also speed up my recovery by what I assume would be weeks. Im getting older now and recovery from injuries is slower so having someone like Dr. V to help me get mobile and recover is a must have. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Fantastic folks who made me feel like I was part of a Family the second I walked through the door. I had my 8 month old son with me, and they were very accommodating. Their A.R.T. exercises, graston and stretching techniques are amazing at targeting the problem area and then bringing strength and relief. I also dislocated one of my shoulders this last spring and came here for my physical therapy. The entire staff is awesome, professional, friendly, and I cant recommend them enough. Also, dont be afraid of the Graston tools. These guys can work wonders with those things.

Highly recommend HealthWorks. I came in with chronic ankle pain that had bothered me for nearly two years, and after just a few visits, I was running pain-free for the first time since my initial injury. Everyone there is so, so nice, and they really take the time to listen and discuss things with you.

Im am a Grappling instructor and competitor. I train 6 sometimes 7 days a week. Obviously my body takes a large physical toll and since I started with Dr. Vasquez I have seen great improvement, not only in my mobility, but my explosiveness feels better and the amount of constant pain from my back muscles has subsided significantly. I had been struggling with neck pain and pelvic muscle spams for years. I have been to numerous orthopedic & chiropractic doctors trying different forms of medication, PT, massage therapy, and rest but nothing seemed to address the cause. If you live in the Houston area... This chiropractic option was very helpful to me. I had cervical fusion surgery in 2003 but never had rehab on my neck. After years of very little mobility they were able to help me regain much of my lost mobility this year. The process took many visits but I am grateful to be able to look around without turning my body as much.The people are very nice and professional. They help me with numbness in my left arm two years ago with the Graston method and the Active Release Therapy is a new addition to their office offerings and was one of the methods used on my neck.

My athletes go here to get right after some of our workouts. I cant say enough for the advice that they offer, the professionalism they display, and the knowledge that they possess. If you havent tried these people out, what are you waiting for??

Most chiropractors do just one thing, but not Dr Katie. She treats back pain, neck pain, etc etc - but also has a thriving practice treating runners, triathletes, golfers and the like. She has a special set of stainless steel tools (weapons!) and uses them for super-fast results - something called the Graston Technique. FANTASTIC!

I originally saw this practice on an ad through Facebook and to be honest im glad that it did show up on my feed! From the first meeting with Dr. Katie, I was extremely impressed with her knowledge, treatment strategy, and overall willingness to modify the treatment plan in the long term. I explained my off and on knee pain from an injury a few years ago and was totally expecting to have to go the MRI and surgery route. With the treatment plan provided and awesome help from the Physical Therapist (PT) Terrance. I could literally feel that my knee was getting better and better with a few session that passed. Fast forwarding to today, I am now in a one treatment every to weeks treatment frequency plan and still show with great improvement in my knee. To be honest, this is the best my knee has felt in years. Its given me back confidence to be more active and enjoy myself without worry of my previous injury or major flare ups. Over the years (40+), I have been to many chiroprators and each have employed different techniques. For some time I have been afflicted with lower back pain. At a bike event I met with fellow bike rider and HealthWorks staff member, Kathy Kronlund and some of the staff. There they explained ART (Active Release Technique). After my first appointment I experienced immediate relief. The HealthWorks staff are very professional and friendly. I highly recommend you give HealthWorks a chance to help you. I came in with elbow pain. After few treatments the pain in my elbow was greatly reduced. I have spent many years lifting heavy weights and didn’t take good care of my muscles. Over time this causes a loss of mobility in my shoulder and hips. They have increase mobility in my shoulders and hips in just 2 visits. I high recommend them.

Healthworks Spine and Sport is a wonderful place to come and get healthy and get your confidence back. Before I came to Healthworks Spine and Sport I felt horrible both mentally and physically. I was being told by my doctors that surgery was pretty much my only option. I came and saw Dr. Katie and her staff and they have made me feel like part of the Healthworks family and have given me the confidence to fight to get better and not give up, with their guidance in the best treatment plan and doing what is best for the patient. They are not one of these places that are like Lets just see how many patients we can get in here to make a buck.
