Ive never rated a doctor before, nonetheless, I have never endured such a negative, demeaning, horrific hospitalist before. He never listened to any of my concerns. I was interrupted every time I attempted to speak requarding my symptoms. He was rude, demeaning, belittling, arrogantand unteachableI went in the hospital with a bowel obstruction, yet because he could not see it, he refused to believe me. Instead of getting bowel rest and IV fluids, he wrote things like, Patient refuses to eat or drink.It took almost a month before my. GI doc could complete the Upper Endoscopic EGD ( as Dr Parmenter canceled it while I was in hospital). The test showed a significant strictured area and several areas of bleeding, & acute, active crohns disease! Dr Parmenter cost me so much unecessory suffering!I hope someday he can realize that many patients know their body & disease well . Hopefully he can become a much better doctor when he becomes open and teachable!
