I was not kept waiting. The doctor was clear and detailed in his explanation. He made me feel cared for and that I could trust him. I was invited to join a study so that my experience would perhaps add to greater knowledge for someone else. That made me feel good.

Three times mom was hurt with complications on the port… they let the trainees practice on mom a little too much- however Melissa gets my 5 stars!! She was happy with her courtesy, compassion and experience. Overall we are very happy with the care and attention so they definitely get my 4 stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The entire staff here are fantastic. The nursing staff are wonderful, especially Melissa and Cami at the Layton location. Theyre so accommodating and helpful. The love and concern they have for their patients is obvious. Melissa and Cami are by far the best nurses I have had the pleasure of getting to know. Layla is the hardest working and kindest CNA Ive ever met. Dr. Gray is very knowledgeable and spends the time needed with his patients. He knows how to show he cares. I would, without hesitation, recommend Utah Hematolgy Oncology to everyone!!

Ive been coming here since 2019. During COVID my Oncologist has since left. I was sent a letter in the mail stating I had a new Oncologist which made me feel very anxious. My appointment was 8/06/21 I did sit in waiting room a hour past my scheduled appointment. Thats why I rated it 4 stars instead of 5. I was taken into the exam room and a ACNP came in and began to explain to me the type of breast Cancer I had. This is something my other Oncologist had never done. She spoke to me in great detail and examined me. This is the only time after leaving a appointment I felt calm and at ease. Best experience Ive had since I was diagnosed with Cancer.

Im 43 years old and in October of 2019 I was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. I’m also BRCA2 positive. Having cancer and going through chemo is scary and hands down the hardest thing I’ve ever done. From the first time my husband and I met Dr. Gray he was (and continues to be) positive and optimistic. In our experience we find him to be very personable, easy to talk to and even laugh with.Dr Gray was aggressive in treating my cancer and I’m so glad he was. As of May 2020 I am cancer free. Dr Gray, PA Kelly, the nurses and the entire staff at Utah Hematology Oncology are fantastic! I have been to both offices but their Layton facility is closer to home so I’ve been there the most. The chemo nurses are beyond amazing!! They are friendly, knowledgeable (always answering my many questions) positive and supportive. I consider them my friends! 💖Dr. Gray has been awesome to work with. I will be honest, he usually is running a little behind so I always make sure and plan extra time. But I know that when he’s running late it’s because he’s taking the time to treat other patients with the kindness and respect he shows me. Even if he’s running late Dr Grey NEVER makes me feel rushed during our appointments. He takes time to answer my many, many questions.Speaking of questions.... I appreciate that I can call and leave a question for Dr. Gray or the nurses. I know they are crazy busy and I’m sure they get several calls a day. But just a heads up, sometimes they can’t answer your question and call back the same day.I realize every cancer story is different and I realize that I might not stay cancer free for the rest of my life. But I do know that no matter what my future holds Dr. Gray and his staff will make sure they are doing everything they can for me. There are several choices for cancer treatment, I’m so glad that I chose Utah Hematology Oncology. Thank you❣️❣️

Both of my parents were diagnosed with cancer and referred to Dr. Arango for treatment. My mother had stage 1 breast cancer. My dad had stage 4 cancer of the esophagus and Dr. Arango prescribed a very aggressive treatment of the cancer and was very kind yet blunt in my dads possible prognosis. My father is currently in remission, and still sees Dr. Arango regularly. Dr. Arango and his staff are really great at addressing my fathers needs and the concerns of our family during this time. I had the opportunity to meet Dr. Arangos staff myself when I came to visit both of my parents after they had both been treated, and on the last day of my mothers radiation treatment. The staff were encouraging the whole way, even when my father was at his lowest point. I cant recommend Dr. Arango and his staff enough for all the great and exceptional work they do. Keep up the fight, you guys!

My wife had an appointment to receive treatment at this establishmwnt, and they were not ready to receive her. They began treatment in a very uncomfortable setting. The room was loud and cluttered and the staff were not very customer friendly. I understand that things can get crazy and busy, but packing your small room with a lot of people makes for a very inconvenient environment for healing.
