Dr. Fawaz and his staff are the best in Oklahoma. He takes time to get to know know patients and their concerns. He will call and follow up with you personally. I can’t say enough good things about him and his staff. When the Oklahoma City doctors treated me I was just a number and an insurance payment. 10 years ago I was ready to give up and he saved my life. Great man and wonderful staff.

I couldnt even schedule an appointment. I even had a pre-authorization from my insurance company. This approved me for an hour and 29 minutes worth of office visits. (When does any Dr spend that much time with you?) The receptionist refused to schedule the appointment, she was hateful and down right rude.Dr. Fawaz might be a wonderful Dr. However, he needs to find someone else to answer the phone and do his scheduling.I read the other reviews. I see Im not the only one whos had this problem. I hope Dr. Fawaz reads this and he realizes, Im not giving him a bad review, just the person who answered the phone.I called my primary care Dr and had him do a referral elsewhere. I wont be scheduled for any visits with this Dr because of his receptionist.

Worse doctor ever. Not only does he know nothing about non invasive proactive therapies, he also doesn’t care about his patients. He was prescribing me my iv therapy once a week and then out of the blue decided to take it away because I asked him to do three months at a time instead of one month so I don’t call him a ps often. Said to me I was only doing iv to help you out and now I’m not going to anymore..... WOW what a wonderful doctor you are Rhoda Fawaz. You don’t care about any of your patients. I will literally get so dehydrated and possibly die because of you

Confirmed appointment with this doctor. Morning of the 11am appointment, was called at 0830 for reschedule. When I called the number back, was told we never had an appointment and was not in the system. He may be a good doctor (never made appt) but the scheduling staff are incompetent. No one I talked to had any idea who called me to reschedule my appt and tried to convince me that I never had an appointment to begin with. Horrible office staff.

We were very disappointed in this Dr. My 80 yr old mother had an appointment scheduled for 1 week, and was called at 8:30 am the morning of her appointment stating the Dr wouldn’t see her because she has seen another gastroenterologist in the past. Who does this?? If there was a problem, why wasn’t she notified before the day of her appointment. It’s been 4 years since she saw the other specialist. Her other Dr was in Texas and she’s now needing someone in Okla closer to home so that family can help and take her to her appointments. Office personnel was polite and tried to explain away this situation, and they were only carrying out Dr Fawaz’ policy. It’s the the most bizarre policy I’ve ever heard of.........

I’d highly recommend DR Fawaz. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He was even aware of gastrointestinal problems specific to veterans of the wars in the Middle East. He definitely does his job well.

The staff is very kind and professional and Dr Fawaz is also. He is one of my favoriteDoctors. Thank you Dr Fawaz for making a dreaded test so easy. I will always use Dr Fawaz as my gastroentologist!
