My mother-in-law was in Cedarcrest Manor and our family wasnt impressed. The facility was not clean or adequately staffed. She saw a physical therapist for thirty minutes once in a two week period. She had an excellent occupational therapist who worked with her regularly. The social worker came in and said shed come in to do an intake, but never returned. One of the biggest issues was in the food. The meals were frequently inedible and didnt appear to be designed to meet dietary guidelines. An example was a lunch that was goulash and a Twinkie for lunch. A breakfast consisted of kool-aide, prepared eggs, one small scoop, and what appeared to be a purchased muffin like what you would purchase at a truck stop. The staff were kind and polite, the administrative staff less so.We moved our loved one out of there as soon as we located another bed. returned.

Very judgemental and biased. My father is a victim of Elder Abuse and we tried to have him admitted for nursing care. The staff believed the abusive woman. They Denied my father acceptance without meeting him or conducting any kind of due diligence. I toured the place and found it very old and depressing. I would give them a ZERO if I could.

Very unhelpful - they would not tell me the room # of the person I want to send a Christmas card to. When I asked how big the facility was like if the card would get lost among thousands, they couldnt even tell me that. Very unhelpful.

It is unfriendly place
