A few weeks ago I had an apptmt with Dr Segebrecht. He was dismissive scoped my sinuses and said they were (his words) perfect. Gave me a hearing test which I didnt want and sales pitch on hearing aides. My symptoms he attributed to my teeth. A trip to my dentist and not my teeth. He was more concerned about selling me a hearing aide than he was about my problem. I left his office feeling like a 2 yr old that had been sent to her room. Maybe because I didnt choose to have a prayer said for my health is why he was dismissive. For whatever reason I can assure you I will not be back.

Cant believe the bad reviews Im seeing here. I absolutely LOVE Segebrecht, and so does my daughter. He remembers her and talks to her like they are old friends. He is gentle and kind, but gives it to you straight. He has done 2 surgeries on her and did an amazing job. We wont go anywhere else!

Amazing doctor! Very caring. To pray for me when I was in distress about not being able to smell or taste was so kind and considerate. I cant believe the poor reviews.

Dr Segebrecht performed my sinus surgery for chronic sinusitis with deviated septum about 10 years ago. I have had almost no sinus issues since! I found him very caring, detailed, and patient. Excellent!

He did my ear surgery when i was 12. Im now 41 and still go to him. When i had my operation he made me feel comfortable. I recommend him to anyone

My primary doctor in Lawrence recommended Dr. Segebrecht because they could not determine why I havent had much of a voice for a month. I did not know I was coming in to have a scope put down my throat and when I asked the nurse more questions about it she was very short with me and then asked me to sign a paper saying if I do or do not believe in faith and if I would like the Dr. to say a silent prayer.. I have never had this happen before at a Doctors office and to be honest it made me very uncomfortable even though I do have faith. He also asked weird personal questions like, What does your dad do for a living? and other personal questions Doctors just should not ask.He then proceeded to check my ears several times and was offended when I rejected a hearing test and to have hearing aids made for me. I have dealt with hearing loss my whole life and was only there for my voice and was bothered that he didnt understand me when I told him that. He continued to talk to me about my ears and use the microscope to look at them. I am not one to usually make reviews, but thought I should on this Dr. because he made me super uncomfortable to where I walked out of the office before he could do the scope. Highly do not recommend this Dr.

Dr Segebrecht is one of the top practitioners in his field. I have been treated by him for many years and his office staff are always cordial.

I went to see Dr. Segebrect for the first time due to retracted ear drums and post nasal drip. I was so impressed by the care and concern he had for my issues.I was given a card at the beginning of the visit that said if I wanted a silent prayer after the appt then lay the card on the counter; if not, kindly replace back on the wall. HOW COOL IS THAT!!!! I opted for the prayer as I know the healing power of God.Thank you, Dr. Segebrect for your faith and great care you offer to your ppatients It the next day and I feel like Ive been on antibiotics for a week. I feel fantastic. You will be my ear doctor for life!

I went in for enlarged tonsils and basically told me I was an avid mouth breather and to stop sleeping on my right side. He then sent me home with a typo ridden slip that had a recipe for salt water. Never see this sham of a doctor that tells you to pray your sickness away.
